Mind sharing the color or hex please? Love the blue! Looks just like jet stream blue!

Since buddy never got back to me I found this color that’s pretty close and looks great on the c7 base coquette in game and should be pretty close the the OEM C6 ZR1 color too for when the D5 finally launches.

R* newswire mentions this in the update post. Is this thing getting the Jester Classic treatment?

Highly doubt it. The Supra came out for the next dlc after the community pushback on the leaked version was so poor. This corvette is still coming out during the same dlc period just as drip feed. It’ll still be pretty sh*t. I would like to be wrong though.

Hefty price tag. And the lack of customization options is of course unpleasant.

Gave it a shot anyway. It's not that bad. I like that the sound of the gear change comes from a manual gearbox.

@kurvenflo the emissive textures / light intesity has been a issue since the Buffalo STX. At first I thought they're trying new things to mimic LED lights but it's most likely because artists are used to the GTA VI pipeline / settings.

My comment was more related to the illuminated rear reflectors and the center brake light 😉

I suspected, they've either assigned wrong material IDs to them, reflectors will reflect in VI and it's just an error(please see above) or they just don't know how lights on the back of a car should function (which they also have a history of).

Either way this car seems very rushed which is a shame as I will be buying it still even with the NSX headlights and the admittedly hard-to-look past R35 taillights.

You can somewhat fix that albeit for a short period and while being stationary by angling the camera position in a certain way, Quite annoying and also a issue for the new banshee unfortunately (among many other cars of course)

Weird thing is that it's not a problem on cars like the S95, Jester RR and the Astron to say name a few but they lack the outside illumination on the roads so ig it's more of a engine related issue that needs a overhaul majorly which hopefully VI does it right.

It's a shame R* neglected this car and gave it the bare minimum in terms of customization. The fact that we can't even remove or change the targa top is criminal.

Really wish they gave the widebody of the ZO6/R1 rather than the standard C6 to look a just bit more nicer personally ignoring the other issues aside slight. Welp at least it drives like a proper sports car like a vette unlike the D10 or the Original which was just slow.

I’m sorry, but this is a poor job. It’s infuriating because I’ve wanted a C6/ZR1 for a long time. It's a good looking car for the most part, its got the potential, but there are so many odd choices. Why are there no primary coloured custom parts, it’s either plastic, secondary or carbon. Stock wheels look rubbish, and of course it’s blessed with the ‘custom wheels are smaller issue’ that kills several cars in this game! At least it doesn’t have the ridiculously narrow wheels issue I suppose. I get the headlights, though they’re ugly and too NSX, but what’s with the red rear reflectors? i know they’re on the real car, but they’re reversing lights and white - practically invisible - either do the same or get rid! I could possibly overlook all this (possibly) if it weren’t for the roof! FFS, I simply don’t understand the decision to make the top section black plastic and unpaintable, but the A and C pillars tied to the primary colour. The whole roof section in unpaintable black would have been a better option than this, it just looks ridiculous, even just the pillars tied to the secondary would have opened up the option to find a hex to match the plastic top, but no, we get this sh*te instead. Honestly, if you’re going to do it like this, why bother at all. Maybe they could HSW it and change some of this stuff on that version, but I doubt they would. If this is going to VI then they really need to fix it.

And while I’m on a rant, Rockstar really need to add wheel arch linings to their models. Turning the front wheels and seeing the massive gap to the front bumper makes so many cars look cheap and toy like.

It is fast though, for a non HSW.

Quick dirty shot

Slides a little from the back in tubes (stunt races) like all Coquettes. Acceleration a little less than a Banshee GTS at low speed. Top speed slightly lower than a Banshee GTS. Does the job as well as a GTS, GTO or RSX in races.

Front of the vehicle deforms quickly even with armor upgrade.

Believe it or not, at the turn of the millennium there were two things the rest of the world knew about America: its military industrial complex was taking a well-earned break, and its sports cars couldn't go around corners. But just when you think you've got American industry pegged, it comes out swinging with something like the Coquette D5, or enough regime change to keep its private military contractors off the breadline for another couple decades. Throw in a kickass chassis, a V8 for the ages, and an unforgettable dose of shock and awe, and you've got the kind of comeback story that made this country great.

It needs the OG coquette sound which is similar to the real vette

That really is the least of it's problems, but I get you.

What a ginormous fk up this car is.
