If you know Lester well by now, you'll know that for this man, it's not enough to stop a mad "AI" and its tech mogul owner from causing world annihilation; to rob the Pacific Standard of its riches over and over again (who even banks at Pacific Standard anymore?); rob data off of the "Humane" Labs & Research lab (what the actual f*ck are they doing there?!); help out Ron and Trevor's drug business or breaking a mad professor out of jail. No, no.

The Diamond Casino & Resort opened in 2019, after years and years of speculation about what was going to happen to the derelict, "opening soon" building in Vinewood Park Drive. Everyone celebrated the fact that something was actually built there, and have thus far gambled likely trillions in there. But a casino also means something... Loot. Lots of big, juicy loot. Down to the namesake diamond one or another time. Except this time, the Diamond Casino & Resort seem to be getting a big, persistent shipment of diamonds, which has sent a bunch of its staff into a spiral of panic (rightfully so)... but Lester Crest into an explosion of joy, especially as he will get to meet the one and only Georgina Cheng.

This week, and to conclude the grand Heist Challenge, which still needs heisters to dedicate more time to syphoning all of Los Santos' cash, Diamonds will persistently be available at the Diamond Casino's vaults. It's time to break the bank, and hopefully the Community Challenge! Alongside that, armour up with the Weekly Challenge reward for this week.

The Diamond Casino & Resort Lucky Wheel

Everything is eerily quiet at The Diamond Casino & Resort. Seemingly in advance of those massive shipments of diamonds making their way to the Diamond's vaults. If heisters doing their thing was already a problem for our dear Felipe and everyone in the security and management staff before this week, it surely will be now, and it's sending everyone into a bit of a panic spiral. Gotta get with the times, amirite? Ha... ha... Well. The podium is also being targeted once again by the Amirs, for enterprising criminals, or brand-new owners of Salvage Yards who want to partake, so... yeah. Yup.

Not like any of this will affect day-to-day operations regardless - The Diamond will always be Los Santos' main gambling hub, and you bet that Lucky Wheel is gonna have a car on its podium this week. One with a special livery no less, and one that may interest folks at the LS Car Meet.

This week, pray to any deities you believe in, perform your usual rituals (maybe robbing The Diamond?) and spin the big ol' Lucky Wheel, for a chance to win a Dinka RT3000, wrapped in the Warhawk livery.

And they aren't saying that the diamonds will be guarantee 1st time, but that hey will be "guarantee", implying it's everytime, no? Lmao...if so, R* trying to balance things out...not double money, but always the best loot possible.

For the Panther, they explicitly said "on the first playthrough", the info here is just "guaranteed diamonds" in general. Could be every run, and a good last ditch effort to reach the GTA$20T.

Am I right in assuming we get diamonds all week and not just once?

 

Also, I'm still looking for a random host who has sourced level 2 keycards. They just don't understand.

Best I got so far was level 1 on Silent&sneaky with all other preps done (a shame actually), and I haven't seen a single door get hacked succesfully.

 

edit 1: finally managed to find a host who had level 2 keycards, even though it was Bugstars, from Paleto.

We split in 2 teams and got downstairs, but the host had missed the memo about pistol meelee, set off the alarm, and another random quit. Shame, I could have finished that heist.

 

edit 2: got lucky and found a host with a Gruppe6 heist and artwork. We finished it without any problems, even though he accidentally shot a guard on the way out, so no elite challenge, but whatever, got the weekly challenge.
