Can't believe how flying still sucks in San Andreas

On PC? Which is it, definitive or original? You'll manage to do them keep trying, I believe they don't need to be gold, just pass them. With the definitive even if they are slightly easier, what is not easy is the PC controls, those you can't bind them different than land vehicles for whatever reason..

I can give you my controls or some tips if you want but I am sure you'll finish them if you did Zero's.

Back on the PS2 I found Zero's missions near impossible, the flying school not that difficult. Took me like half a month to pass Air Raid.. On PC that one was 100 times easier due to the mouse. I wonder how is Air Raid on TDE console versions.

Yes, on PC.

I actually just finished Vertical Bird, that was the most difficult one, but now I'm done with flying in San Andreas, thank god.

I have not found the SA main missions difficult (or anything other than the driving school missions for that matter) on a modern PC. A lot of the problems I had since to have resulted from low framerate.

The only flying school mission that I think is bullsh*t is the apache heli shooting the trucks one because that's random luck. The same goes for that 360 flip stunt in the driving school.

Vertical Bird I find is pretty fun because I can shoot down other jets with missiles. You just gotta make sure you destroy all the SAM on the carrier first. Once you take off from the carrier, I will hold 8 on my numpad to move the thrusters backward to fly the hydra like a normal plane. When I shoot at the boats I hold 2 to switch the thrusters back to hovering mode. Hydras are really fun actually.

If you completed zero missions on the first attempt, then I think that other missions are Difficult for you, at one time I killed a lot of nerves to complete the zero mission with Berkeley deliveries, but at the same time I did not strain myself over the flight school, zero missions seemed to me to be one of the most difficult in the GTA series of games

Flying School is not that big of a deal. Getting all golds IS a pain sometimes, but not really as tedious as getting al golds in driving school.

 

Zero's missions SUCK on PS2 and OG XBOX. Newer versions are way more easier. I was about 60% through the DE version and I haven't been back. I definitely will try to finish it by the end of next year.
