Freefall Mission keeps crashing

Whenever I get to the part of the mission Freefall where CJ jumps out of his plane the game crashes and gives me a Fata Error screen. I have tried to skip the cutscene and unlock my framerate but with no luck.

Could be a mod that is causing it, you have any? Send the save file on gtasnp so I see if it runs for me or not. Once uploaded send link.

When I try to upload the save file on gtasnp it tells me that it cannot determine game type. Also I have no mods installed. I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not but I am playing the DE version

Oh you are using the definitive edition? Wait a week or so so the site gets updated, then you will be able to upload the save, it's because of the new update they released. Have you tried verifying game files  from RGL/Steam? That could fix it, or a full reinstall. What of lowering your graphics?

If you use a pirated version then that might be the issue and I can't help with that, those can have similar random problems.

I will wait a week or so and see if I can upload the file then. I am using a legit copy as I bought the trilogy. I will try to verify the game through rockstar and see if that helps.

I just pushed the update to the site. It should accept your save files now.

Thank you very much. I did just find a solution though. I went into my documents and deleted the two .Dat files and it allowed the mission to work correctly.
