Entirely changed. It seems they have reworked the cock :lmaokek: using Substance Painter or similar software (look at the texture explosion)
Go check the cock in-game, it probably looks really good and shiny!

What rly rly annoys me in this version is that it feels like I'm playing a mobile game being emulated on PC. The ToS new screen, the new splash screen, etc all screams Mobile to me...

the banshee is yellow, but sometimes its hard to tell especially during sunsets and sunrises now that the reflections are super strong. Its even worse in SA when your car becomes a toxic waste bright green color on sunrise/set

 

hopefully the new patch brings some of the modding community back into the games, theres still plenty that needs to be fixed/improved, and alot of the older mods no longer work anymore.

Yea not great but much better than the smoothie rims from before... Plenty of vehicle related decisions they made in these remasters that i could never understand why, like keeping the monster truck suspension on the banshee or using the freaking ps2 car models for III instead of the xbox models...

For the same reason they changed fire in cars to be on the tires instead of over the roof. Because it's cool, modern, is in GTA V and IV and because they wanted to.

3d modeled engine on the xbox version, 2d texture in the DE LOL

 

No way, I never realized those wheels were supposed to have spokes! In the PS2 version, they look like dog dish wheels.

 

That's insane that they would actually remodel the vehicles just for Xbox. They need to add the Xbox car models into GTA Wiki.

It’s still strange to me in GTA San Andreas DE after recruiting gang members and getting into a vehicle with them they shoot at enemy gang members in vehicles but they don’t do a single thing on foot when you attack a gang member for example

 

I swear everytime I recruit a Grove homie to go take over a hood they do not shoot. I’m the only one putting in work and they just stand in front of me and watch lol. They are useless even if it did work but it’s still fun having a few with you attacking a hood or just going places in general. I guess no biggie though. Still enjoying the game

Yet they used the Xbox models for Vice City!!!! What the hell happened??? Personally this is the regression that shocks me the most throughout all of DE. Even the MOBILE version of 3 used the Xbox vehicles, and that was the same developer! How could they forget them here, yet suddenly remember them again for the next game?

GTA 3 on Xbox got a shocking amount of changes, its almost a complete overhaul of the game. New animation system, better textures, improved vegatation, more detailed models... Hell, even entire areas were overhauled:

Xbox:

Was the one they didn't put that much work on due to being a slightly bigger game, aside from many glitch/bugs than the others, the look of the game was so off, even some gameplay stuff. Just not a good experience.

I am looking to replay it now, but still needs few more fixes like the other two.

Some say some of the character models' faces got changed but I didn't notice anything. I should've kept the past version so I can compare stuff too..

A cool video that got recommended to me:

I agree with some of his sentiments.

Some of the weather presets could use some tweaking to maybe reduce a biiiit of the Draw Distance and increase the fog.

But I do prefer some of how it is at the moment, I think at times the OG PS2 version looked comically foggy for no reason.

 

VGD did a fantastic job given what they were handed not going to lie. I hope, really hope they are allowed to continue working on this.

They super over-corrected with the SF lighting. Before just the sky was blue, but now everything has a blue tint on it. Same with the purple desert sky. It's like it's so bright the color is reflecting off of all the geometry, lol.

I think CJ has been improved a bit, not sure about the others though. Saw vice city videos yesterday and Tommy still looks the same :sadkek:

I noticed from footage. Ugh, probably the worst redesign of all 3 protagonists.
