It's time for your yearly payday with the return of the Heist Challenge, starting with one guaranteed Panther for those choosing to invade Juan Strickler's (aka El Rubio) highly... ahem, "protected" mansion, a brand-new heist-related Community Challenge, bonuses on Assault on Cayo Perico should you want to take it to the military level, bonuses on the Cayo Perico Race Series if you wish to scare El Rubio with your two to four wheels, a new Community Series, and more!

Heist Challenge is Back! Cop a Guaranteed Panther by Invading El Rubio, New Community Challenge

For the past month, things in Los Santos have gone from executive to military, and then to very spooky. With everyone including the military giving in to our new temporary overlords, everybody had no chance but to obey, and I'm sure many can't deny they loved it! From being stuck in an experimental bunker under Fort Zancudo, to being abducted and probed by aliens inside oddly FIB-branded UFO's, to seeing a clone of yourself as if you've just barfed yourself out of a different timeline, and more...

This week however, Los Santos returns to normalcy plus some, with the acclaimed return of the Heist Challenge! What better way to decompress from Halloween than to repeatedly rob from El Rubio's mansion? Better yet, the first time you do it, you also get a guaranteed Panther Statue... and an incentive for more!

In a brand-new Community Challenge, it's time to bring it to the trillions once again by robbing banks, robbing an animal experiment lab, robbing El Rubio, The Diamond Casino, and much more throughout the month.

As such:

 

• Claim the Panther Statue for your first playthrough of the Cayo Perico Heist after this event starts
• Collectively steal GTA$20 TRILLION by completing select (TBA) Heist finales

Cayo Perico Gets More to Offer, Plus Brand-New Community Series

Now... say you don't just want to rob from Rubio's mansion. It's all repetitive or intimidating for the moment. But you'd still like to do something more in Cayo Perico other than listening to Keinemusik's (personally quite good) set on the beach. There's certainly other ways to flush El Rubio out this week, and the first one is to dump the USS Luxington for a bit and instead invade Cayo Perico by parachute and armed force for a bonus, with bonuses on Assault on Cayo Perico!

If you'd rather have more of a raw safari experience however, not to worry, you can also sneak into Cayo Perico and race on two, three, four wheels or even in the air with bonuses on the Cayo Perico Series. Need more than just the racing riches? Treasure Chests!

Did they fix the infinite heist glitch on PC? (the one that keeps the panther every time, people used to do that) I don't remember anything like that other than changing the cayo perico heist, making it more difficult with the enemy npcs.

I heard someone say attempting to "store" a Panther heist will result in it eventually being changed to another target, is any of that true? I've still got Casino Diamonds from god knows how long ago

No, it will not.

I had mine for years until the career progress, where i eventually finished that heist.

I will be replacing it now, to be kept there forever.

 

So if you want to keep it for "display" purposes, just like the diamonds at the casino, you certainly can.

 

P.S.

Extra points for storing it in Hardmode...

...ya gotta have a heist scoped tonight, so u can finish it tomorrow and trigger the 48min hardmode timer thing. That way its hardmode when u do it first scope of the week.

Heist challenges always fun.

It's on all platform not only pc. IIRC, players can only replay one cayo heist 3 times at most, after the patch. I heard about this glitch but never did it, so Idk if there's still a workaround to do infinite cayo heist b2b.

 

Btw, panther coming this week, some youtubers will definitely spam videos titled "Infinite $2000000 every 5 minutes". I guess R* programmers would fix it once again after watching those videos.
