A.P. VISION
INTRODUCTION "Perfectionism is my curse." This is my first formal modding project for 3D-era GTA series (more especially the main trilogy, Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City and San Andreas, but even considering Rockstar Leeds dilogy, Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories). This project is, at least for now, not monolithic. This production can come in form of a single model or even modpacks, with their due editions for the determined GTA title. "Project Resculpt" is basically the brand for this mod series. It consists on remodelling (and/or even retexturing if necessary) at least some or most of the original models from these games, that I consider disproportionate before any of their counterparts IRL, but keeping (at least nearly) their original quality (whether polycount and/or texture resolution/compression). I have in mind to cover mainly objects like weapons, as well as some peds and even I am eager to mess with vehicles (where we have pretty much "fabric to cut", at least in SA). Mostly obsessed with consistency and symetry, these models I am aiming for simply bug me and I consider they need an aesthetical change. DEMONSTRATION - Vice City Ingram: I procured to replicate the most similar dimensions of the real-world Mac 10 millimetrically as possible, while staying into the same polycount range or a similar LOD to game models. I also attached the gun_trigs_16col (16x16 triggers collection texture) from VC/SA Combat Shotgun (Spas 12) to fill that hole and also save some use of meshes. PRODUCTS Spoiler [VC/SA] Project Resculpt - Ingram MAC-10 Pack About the mod As a product (or part) of my mod project and brand, Project Resculpt, this is a remodelation of the Ingram MAC-10 from GTA Vice City. It counts on 4 variations I fancied: - Base (like from base game and Liberty City Stories). - Extended (or rather folded) Buttstock. - Silenced (like from Vice City Stories) - Silenced + Extended Buttstock Known issues Maybe just two: - The lack of faithful GUI icons for silenced and buttstock variants. - No suppressed sound for silenced variants (although not even VCS included it so I did not mind it that much). In any case, since these will be of public use, you can arrange both (I would recommend the sound from Uzi of GTA III and Vice City, since it is already and wrongly suppressed, lol). Download links For Vice City For San Andreas (Installation instructions are included in "readme.txt" files inside the zips) Spoiler [VC/SA] Project Resculpt - Ithaca 37 Dual Pack About the mod As a product of this brand, these are the remodelled pump shotguns from Vice City. It was researched that both are the same model (denominated as number 37) from the same brand (Ithaca), but noticeably modified with a different tone and parts. I was remodelling the "chromegun" then I parted from it to create the "buddyshot" (as known in data files). Known issues VC: For some reason, the file "dshotgn.dff" is not covered by ModLoader, so it must be manually inserted into "gta3.img". SA: None that I am aware of. Just credits to whoever made the icon for the HUD (let me know who he is). Download links For Vice City For San Andreas (Installation instructions are included in "readme.txt" files inside the zips) (The upcoming mods I end up finishing and releasing, will be listed here with previews and download links, under Spoiler frames, so wait my call) Edited November 15 by A.P. RushCars24ID
Uh, wrong section? Is this suppose to belong to the "Other" section? Did you did this, or this was previously from a other section which the site itself ended up moved it to here for no reason, or...?
