People freaking out about system requirements a bit mad. Those are some low system requirements in 2024.   We also don't know what the recommended spec is referring to in terms of res and frame rate - a huge issue with sys requirements in the modern era and why the basic "min" and "recommended" reqs don't work anymore. But I think a safe guess would be low is for 1080p/30, as that's what low typically is today, and if you need a 960 then I don't think any modern PC is going to have iss

Reminder as to why specs are not lower - nothing older than the GTX 900 series is officially supported by NVIDIA, MS or game devs anymore

Hearing the Red Dead soundtrack takes me back to when I was 16, playing multiplayer until 2am on Xbox Live. If modders can somehow reimplement multiplayer... oh my god... I'd be a happy man.

Yes, it's 2 PM. It started saying "1 hour" after 13:00.

Steam is stable and trustworthy but oh so outdated in so many aspects like this :lol: They should just reveal the full time that the publisher chose to launch a game, improve their rollout and preload strategies, etc.

Yes, but Steam now says "about 1 hour". That means 22 minutes to 14:00 and 1 hour more coz if there were 22 minutes left it would be saying less than an hour.

Also, if you haven't noticed somehow by now, we've made a new Help & Support section considering the PC release of a game that was never otherwise available on PC may have more support questions than usual, and a shortcut to the Red Dead modding section for those wanting to dig into things or ask questions. :) 

 

Because this is not a whole new Rockstar game, I don't believe a PC dedicated section is justifiable, any issues can be reported within the general Help & Support section.

Nah I don't think so. I believe they will just unlock it right away and screw the botched timer. I could be wrong though.

As mentioned before, the Steam timer always rounds up. Less than an hour will say "1 hour" even if its xx:59

The point is it always says "less than 1 hour" if the game is set to release in the closest full hour.

 

Shouldn't it say less than 1 hour right now? Given it should be coming out in 3 minutes.

 

That's how it always was, since I made Steam account in 2009.

Based on offical Rockstar Store timer, Steam is just retarded

It says "unlocks in less than 1 hour" on Steam for me.

 

Like I was saying yesterday, the Steam timer was always pointing to 3 PM UK time and 4 PM CET time.

 

EDIT: It unlocked 3 minutes later? What are they doing...
