kollpp
I replayed San Andreas just recently I’m thinking I wanna play through Vice city for an idea of what gta 6 could be like. I saw the definitive edition and It looks disgusting (no offense to DE players). Im willing to get the OG vice city by any means as long as it’s not 60 dollars and I have no risk of getting bugs in my pc. Please help y’all

Please help y’all I think it's best to get it from Rockstar's site when you can, the entire original trilogy: https://store.rockstargames.com/game/buy-grand-theft-auto-the-trilogy it's worth it for games like these even if they are old. Resellers like Eneba/Kinguin and of these other ones, they don't have a good background you can just search why, up to you really. cant remember
Keep in mind the physical disk version doesn't work anymore because of SecureROM. I tried a no CD patch but that didn't work either (it says the disk is missing even with the No CD patch). Couldn't figure out how to get it working. You'll probably have better luck with some digital version, If I want to play Vice City now I emulate the PS2 version. I love reminiscing in Vice City, running down Ocean Drive imagining Jason/Lucia are going to walk down that same street 40 years later (lore time, or 20 years reallife time) If you're coming from San Andreas or newer you'll probably have some frustrations with jank: can't shoot and move at the same time with most weapons, some weapons are auto-aim only and others are first-person aim only (on PS2), and you can't pan the camera around with the rightstick/mouse. On PS2 even on foot it does that weird 1st person aim thing if you want to look around you. The Definitive Edition, for all its faults actually alleviates some of that jank, and visually the map itself looks pretty good.
