Weekly Event (8th Aug 2024) - Clear Los Santos of Criminals with Bonuses and Rewards on Bail Office Bounty Activities, Put on Your Ace Ventura Hat, and More!

Spider-Vice

Recommended Posts

Spider-Vice

This week and until 14th August, Jenette Eccles has gotten quite the reward deal for those who wish to continue cleaning Los Santos of criminal scum! Find bonuses and rewards for securing regular and Most Wanted targets, a double pay-out from Bail Enforcer Agents you send out on their own missions, put on your Ace Ventura champion-of-wildlife hat for bonuses on the LS Tourist Board's Wildlife Photography, be the best at landing your shot (read: vehicle) on the target in Overtime Rumble, and more!

Remember this is just a preview, and information may change. On top of that, Rockstar may reserve things for their own Newswire.

We understand that not every Event Week will be to everyone's liking, some will certainly be more exciting than others, but anyway...

Let's get started!

Stop Right There, Criminal Scum! Clear Los Santos of Extra Crime with Bonuses and Rewards on Bail Office and Bounty Activities

Back in June, Maude Eccles had a proposition for everyone in Los Santos, helped by her daughter, the one and only Jenette Eccles - open a Bail Office somewhere in Los Santos or even Blaine County and help the city get free of yet another corrupt CEO, gang members or other criminals by jailing them in your own office and getting a reward for it! Easy right? Just like out of your ancestors' books back in the days of bounty hunting in Blackwater.

This week, there's even more of an incentive for you to work a little bit "closer" to the law, all in your own way, with Jenette having been able to secure some extra payout for... managing all kinds of bounty targets with monetary bonuses and extra income from sending your own extra agents to do their own work! That is GTA$300K (including Daily Challenge) that can go into your account this week for cleaning up the streets.

As such:

  • 2x GTA$ on Bail Enforcement Office Staff Income
  • Secure three Most Wanted Bounty Targets to receive GTA$100K
  • Secure five Standard Bounty Targets to receive GTA$100K

Get the Best Shot in Overtime Rumble and Help Out the LS Tourist Board with More Cute Pictures of Animals with Wildlife Photography Bonuses

Need a pastime whilst waiting for more criminals to hit the streets, then proceed to hit your Bail Office jail? Not interested in having to handle all that business, do you think everyone's an asshole and animals are literally the only relatable beings? That's totally understandable, and the LS Tourist Board is here to help. Put on your Ace Ventura hat once again this week for bonuses in Wildlife Photography - take pictures of many of the local, cute animals, send them over and get a reward. The success of being nice to animals - even Harriet would be proud 120+ years ago.

If, however, you're feeling a need to annoy your friends, foes, acquaintances or strangers, get onto the wheel of a Ruiner 2000 and shoot your best shot to hit the highest point markers with bonuses on the Overtime Rumble Adversary Mode... or shove your enemies off them!

  • 2x GTA$ and RP on Wildlife Photography
  • 2x GTA$ and RP on the Overtime Rumble Adversary Mode

Miscellaneous

Salvage Yard Vehicles & Robberies

Each week, Jamal and Yusuf Amir find some brand-new vehicles for you to source for your Chop Shop, and for Jamal to perhaps plaster all over Snapmatic and other social media. This week, check out the following propositions:

  • The Gangbanger Robbery: Pegassi Ignus

  • The Duggan Robbery: Albany V-STR

  • The Podium Robbery: Karin Previon

The Diamond Casino & Resort Lucky Wheel

Last week, the Diamond Casino and Resort saw their expected rise in activity - with the arrival of Benefactor's newest show of German engineering prowess, everyone wanted one, including those who totally didn't have much cash for one and preferred to hit the gaming machines rather than just go straight for the vault! Speaking of going straight for the vault, poor Felipe once again has a bad feeling, and he would indeed be right about that Podium storage, as their Karin Previon might be getting taken by quite a few Los Santos criminals this week...

Luckily however, that's not what they have to show us at the Lucky Wheel this week, and instead they have something quite... interesting that might tickle the fancy of the LS Car Meet drifters, and perhaps even those with a, let's say, preference for odd "pickup-trucks-turned-nightmare-beasts" (thanks Southern San Andreas Super Autos).

This week at the Lucky Wheel, say your prayers, perform your rituals, align your stars and spin it for a chance to win a Declasse Drift Yosemite.

LS Car Meet Prize Ride

This week, the LS Car Meet continues its peaceful existence by hosting their meets, having folks host their own private gatherings and having a wave of new Vorschlaghammers trying (and succeeding) to be a part of it all. After all, who doesn't want to turn their German classic into a tuner that will dazzle your eyes and the cameras of those across the state? All is as planned!

Meanwhile on the top of that Slamtruck, something that is quite a classic for some, but quite modern looking. The muscle car that many may agree definitely belongs in the LS Car Meet and has even been seen all the way in Vice City - and it's all yours just by being good at racing. Not a hard ask, is it?

Win in the LS Car Meet Series for 3 days in a row to receive the Vapid Dominator GTX.

For testing and/or buying this week:

  • Annis S80RR (also 30% off) (R)
  • Ocelot XA-21 (also 30% off) (R)
  • Dewbauchee Massacro Racecar (R)

Speaking of Muscle cars, that's exactly what Hao's hands are gracing this week with a Hao's Special Works upgrade, and it definitely, perhaps maybe had an influence on what went on top of that Slamtruck. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, head on over to his metaphorical church (i.e. his desk) and test, buy or upgrade the Declasse Vigero ZX.

Premium Deluxe Motorsports

  • Annis Savestra (R)
  • Declasse Lifeguard (R)
  • Vulcar Nebula Turbo
  • Western Cliffhanger (R)
  • BF Bifta (R)

Luxury Autos

  • Declasse Yosemite 1500
  • Annis Euros X32

Time Trials and Premium Races

This week across the state of San Andreas, find the following time trials and premium race.

  • Sports Classics Premium Race: Crossing Paths
  • Regular Time Trial: Lakewood Vinewood Estate
  • HSW Time Trial: North Chumash to Palomino Highlands

Weekly Challenge

Starting with the Chop Shop DLC, citizens all across the state now don't only have a few daily objectives to perform, but also a weekly challenge, for a free GTA$100K:

  • Secure eight Bounty Targets

So, money-wise...
$200,000 per day, per character for the Wildlife Photography = $1,400,000 or $2,800,000 for two characters for the whole week. (This could be $1,600,000 / $3,200,000 if you're up at the right time on Thursday 15th to snap photos of wildlife before the tunables change later that day).

3x $125,000 (average) for Most Wanted Targets = $375,000, multiplied by two for second character = $750,000.
5x $38,000 (average) for Standard Targets = $190,000, multiplied by two for second character = $380,000.
$100,000 for completing the weekly challenge.

Total of $2,065,000 for the week on one character ($4,130,000 for both characters, unless Weekly Challenge is shared).
An extra $200k if Rockstar applies the bonus money as stated, again that could be $400k for both characters. Extra $200k per character if you snap the animals on Thursday 15th before the tunables change.
Maximum available from these alone:- $4,930,000.

It's not good but its not terrible for the amount of time required.

Overtime Rumble is a good laugh most of the time.

EDIT:- fixed numbers.

This is one of the rougher weeks in recent memory. I wonder if bounty rewards are designed in such a way that they can't have a bonus via tunables? Like Salvage Yard Robbery cars.

Question: I had the Albany Brigham with ghosts exposed livery but sold the brigham a while back.

If I buy the Brigham again will the livery still be unlocked for me?

If you have unlocked the livery for completing Ghosts Exposed quest, yes, you can apply it again. You can check if this livery is available in any mod shop.

L week. I would have preferred 2x cash & RP over one-time $100K bonuses on bounty missions.

It's definitely L week. No discounts on bail offices, these $100,000 are a 72 hours bullsh*t thing most won't be able to claim, 2x on staff income might be useful for career progress.

But still, thanks SV!

Pretty sure last time it was instant, no? They've done these recently too. i.e. as soon as you complete 3 Most Wanted Bounties you get the $100K.

I believe they usually specify in the info drop when it's something that's rolled out over the next X hours and there's nothing of the sort so.

If so, that's good then :D

I still hope they'll get rid of this 72 hours crap which doesn't work for most.

It hasn't been a thing in a while so hopefully they decide to not use it anymore (or fix it) considering there seem to be reliability issues with it.

I might be wrong but I feel like there was something related to 72 hours unlock this year at least.

So 2x Staff Income is $10,000 ~ $20,000. That's $30,000 per in-game day on average.

In other words, it still takes 51 in-game days, or 40 hours to cover the cost of themselves, on average.

Good news is, you don't have to be online. They still work when you're offline. So I think it shall be fine just logining the game every 48 minutes...? :(

Nah, I'd rather not employ them.

-Edit-

But there is an award requiring you to earn $1M through them!!!! and career progress, too.

Nope.

Finishing one Dispatch Work Job will land you a GTA$100,000 bonus, while completing three anytime this week will reward you with an additional GTA$100,000, both delivered within 72 hours of completion.

Aha, I forgot then. Okay, not out of the woods then for those who dislike the "within 72 hour" rewards - but I do recall it seemed to work fine for most if not everyone, it seems the issue is mostly clothes/other physical rewards?

I recall them using this list of rewards for instant clothing unlocks. The last time they did an "within 10 days of completion" reward dates back to July 2023 with the Dark Manor Racing Suit.

I don't recall instant monetary rewards tho, except for the Weekly Challenge. We've had 4 instances of "within 72 hours" rewards this year.

R* should consider coming up with "Event Objectives" or whatever besides the Weekly Challenge. Because the Dispatch Work rewards were just variants of the Weekly Challenge. The same thing with this event rewards. The same with the reward back in May. But that's best suggested within the QoL thread.

Completing any A Superyacht Life mission now through May 15 will get you an extra GTA$100,000 bonus (delivered within 72 hours of completion), while the current Weekly Challenge for completing three missions lands you an additional GTA$100,000.

sometimes, double on Bail agents is good(not reduce cooldown)

but this week, capture 3 Most Wanted(you need to spend 3 days for them), and just give the 100K without any clothing itwem(even though there isn't any related clothing items featuring on you have captured any of the targets)

but is that good for players' passion to capture them and for 300K, not so worth of it

Like Tez2 said we need instant unlock not the within 72 hours on clothing item, same as cash rewards

they put a mistake when we can unlock Black manor Racing suit on that week last year

they should add more"Event Objectives"

They would add 2x to the bail office agents a couple of days after i complete the challenge. Was such a hassle getting back to the bail office in paleto bay just to get those 2 lazy buffoons back out on the street and working lol
