Pizza This Delivery Job Hack - Deliver Pizza with the Rebel Truck

This is more of a challenge at this point, because full disclosure, I still havnt successfully delivered all 5 pizzas Hot yet using this method about 5 practice runs so far. But its fun trying.

 

The damn pizza bike is slow as heck. I wondered if there was a faster way. So I thought about what vehicle could carry this bike faster. Turns out, the bed of the Rebel truck is PERFECT for this bike, with its roll cage bars assisting the hold (Now that I think of it, I need to lower my Rebel to lowest setting and its the lowest truck bed available I think). The bike will stand up and stay in the bed at decent speed, and if you jostle the bed of the truck a little bit while driving, and get the bike to lay down sideways parallel with the truck, the bike perfectly fits back there on its side while the truck bed holds it in.

 

Uptown Pizza This Location

To the right of the front door, by the small parking lot with the guard booth, take the truck to the alley way behind this building. Back it into the alleyway and up against the stairs closest to guard booth as much as you can. Put left side of truck up against wall and get out passenger side. Get out of truck and go to front of building to start deliveries. The bike usually starts facing the back alleyway left entrance. Before taking off, set a waypoint to the first location you want to go, because when you get off the bike to carry it in the truck, the yellow location dots disappear. Enter back alley left side, and drive it to the Rebel waiting by the right side exit and drive it off the stairs into back of the truck. 

 

Midtown Pizza This Location

Also in the back alley of this building, behind the destructible construction gates entrance facing park, there is a Perfect open ended loading ramp back there. Back truck into alley and line it up with loading ramp, where truck is facing perpendicular to the alley. Start delivery, set waypoint, then take bike to loading ramp back there and drive it into the bed of the truck. 

 

Beachfront Pizza This Location. Just outside of the front door, directly opposite, there is lower level pavement. Park the Rebel bed off the stairs closest to the parking lot, where the truck is lined up with the overpass bridge above. Drive bike off the higher level off the stairs and into bed of truck. Exit way leads out to the right to parking lot. You have to pop a wheelie to get into truck from here, so line up with truck and give yourself a bit of runup space. Start delivery, set waypoint, then drive into Rebel right there. 

 

Problems

While you can go decent speed with the bike standing up in bed of truck, ideally you want it to fall over and settle perfectly in bed of the truck. Then you can really take off full Rebel speed across map. Dont get any air, bike will come out. Dont take corners high speed, centrifugal force may make bike start jumping out. Dont hit anything fast or bike will come flying out. While the bike is still resting sideways in truck bed, all you have to do is park truck very near doorway and the yellow ring will light up while bike is still in the bed where you WANT it to stay as long as you can. BEFORE you step into delivery zone at doorway, set waypoint again before door knock. You want the bike to lay flat in bed so you dont want to get it out of bed. But if you dont get back on it, you cant see next location. Your only window to set next waypoint is with truck right next to delivery door and before you door knock. 

 

The biggest hangup to this method is that most of the time, after making a delivery, the dumb bike will respawn itself UNDER the truck bed. If that happens its possible to quickly recover ONCE and fast. You must look around for a high elevated location you can quickly back the truck up to to drive the bike off the higher point and back into the bed. Spending too much time doing this will kill your 5 delivery hot time though. My last attempt to counter the bike respawn was to go to the farthest location first, the location not clustered with the others. I knew Id get at least one good fast secure long trip before the bike respawn glitch. Even doing this, I got too careless and took a turn too fast and the bike jumped out a second time on me. If the bike jumps out a second time, kiss the 5 hot deliveries goodbye. 

 

Quick Reload Locations

The beachfront houses way up the western side of the map are usually way away from the other deliveries. If your bike respawns out there, Ive been using the elevated mini cliffs there that are higher than the road accessing the beach houses, between access road and main highway.

 

If you need to reload at houses by Mirror Park, I drive my Rebel into the shallow part of the pond, theres an elevated lip of land at waters edge on the western side closest to the delivery houses, I drive the bike off that higher lip into truck, and drive truck out of shallow section and carry on. 

 

This method probably works well to deliver 5 hot pizzas, you just have to avoid getting too anxious and making the bike jump out of bed, and you can cover ground and hilly roads much faster than the gutless bike. If the bike respawns out of bed after 2nd or 3rd delivery, depending on where you are, you may need to make quick decision to just avoid a reload attempt and use bike last 2-3 deliveries.  

 

If anyone tries this, Im currently working on a way to get the bike to stop repawning under truck during deliveries by parking bed closet to objects or something while also being close to door while its yellow active but havnt found any high percentage fix yet.

Love the idea you're pitching/trying, but i managed to deliver my first ~30 pizza's all "hot & fresh" with the default "pizza boy"? You can just do wheelies to accelerate at a decent enough rate?

Or maybe you have just been getting unlucky with the delivery locations?? because they do seem random, in one of my delivery runs i had 3 of them on the same street block, that cant have been intentional...

Also on a unrelated side note, that one beachhouse "at the corner" of the highway near the bank of the very first classic fleeca heist, whoever lives there is one hell of a pizza addict, i delivered at least 8 pizzas there in my set of 50 (for platinum award + outfit)

I was delivering all 5 on the bike with reasonable house clustering until I got the beachhouse location with some houses in the Vinewood hills, and I tried taking a direct route through the hills and the gutless bike barely climbing hills ticked me off so much thats when I decided to try alternate ways.

im late to the party but yeah wheelies make it go faster.

 

also why cant we click to start the pizza missions from the bike once we buy it like we can in a taxi that we cant store in our garage

FWIW if you own the bike you'll use your personal version when doing the deliveries. Makes it a little quicker to use a fully upgraded bike.
