If we end up with no new weapons but only with a new taser skin i'm going to be very disappointed. This is the perfect opportunity to add some sweet ass sniper rifles or SMG's. Let's hope we get some new toys in the weapon van, event or award down the line. Let's see what the dripfeed will contain..

I think we got all of the good stuff already (the service carbine, and likely the Tac SMG was the riot SMG from the C&C files if I was a betting man). Still no reason they couldn’t slap together something new or backport one or two from VI..

Doesn't look like much work were put into the lores behind the liveries. The Chop Shop ones already have way too many things that doesn't make sense. IDK Maybe change STATE OF LOS SANTOS?!

 

The new Hyundai based concept car! That thing is way overhyped already, not to mention how there's no way it will fit into GTA 6. Can't believe they wasted time on that thing and the weird 2013 looking supercar they teased, while they could have made a proper Aston Martin Vanquish or Volvo VNL or idk some new Lexus or Jaguar WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

 

Oh and the police cars, so what now? We gonna spend 4 million bucks on EVERY SINGLE 1980s to 2000s police cars or are the ones we bought last time just expensive junk now?

If there was a brand new gun it would probably be in the DLC artwork. Maybe they’ll surprise us with something other than that taser reskin but I highly doubt it. They’re pretty keen on marketing stuff like that with the artwork lately. I’m also betting we’ve seen most of the non police vehicles already. We’re ~1 year from VI best case, they’re scraping the bottom of the barrel for GTAO at this point. Just look at the last few DLCs, doesn’t matter summer/winter, they’ve all been rather small going back to Criminal Enterprises and will likely only get smaller as time goes on. Just enough content to entice players to return to the game and dip their beaks for a few days. Totally understandable too considering this game has gotten sh*tloads more content than any other multiplayer game I’ve ever played. I’m just glad I was playing back in 2015 / 2016 when we started getting larger DLCs.

To be fair it is reasonable to expect the new cop cars to have prices from 3 to 5 million. While I really like the theme it is also the epitome of lazyness I expected, rereleasing already existing/backported cars with few enhancements for ridicilous prizes - I hope the new missions pay well and have good replay value as my bank account will dry out very fast.

 

If the new Vincent content is not a new mini heist but some free roam missions I have the feeling this DLC is much smaller than a lot of people expect.

This is probably the worst take in the history of takes. I'm not crazy about the car at all, but this has got to be satire. FH5 just got the real car as part of an 80's retro-wave themed update. GTA 6 is set in Vice City. How in god's name would that car not fit? That's just absolutely bizarre to me, I really don't think you know a single thing about it at all.

 

And again, I don't care for it but... that's a really really bad take.

Unless they remove the advanced handling flags from the old DLC cars, like I'm secretly hoping they would, plus actually make bounties against the player m made by Lester or random NPCs be higher, then I'm not really that much interested in the update at all.

 

They will have to really cook with the QoL changes and additions here because honestly, the premise of this update just isn't much engaging to me.

 

Even with all the time i spent on this community, i still don't get the hard-on for cop cars and/or CnC at all.

If you create a job in the editor, then when you want to play it and launch the lobby, the players will not connect to you. Because Rockstar Games broke that system. You need to become a «super host». 

 

How to become one? You need to do at least one thing as a host, and only then Rockstar Games will open the possibility of connecting players to your job. 

 

In fact, you always need one friend so you can repeat the same thing. A stupid system, and it is not yet known when it will be repaired.

I understand the handling flags, but the bounties being increased?  Like why? Do we really want to incentive players to grief others more?  With all the money one can make, if this is increased from 9k to 25k, does that even really matter in the grand scheme of things?  I always find it odd when players decide they are going to assess the quality of a DLC based on one very narrow request, but this one is particularly odd.  I am 100% with you on the cop and CNC thing.  The whole purpose of this game was to start as a low level criminal and build a high level criminal syndicate.  I don't get the cop fetish at all...
