one more thing, as a happy owner of w124 in real life of course I dreamed of it finally appearing in the game, as you can see, I wrote about it some time ago and here you go, the car appeared in the game
proof that wishes do come true xD

The name comes from an iconic AMG built in '86 called the AMG Hammer.

Was offered as a 5.6 and 6.0L V8. Prolly one of the most iconic tuning cars of all time. It was doing 186mph/300kph in '86!

And it was based on a W124 chassis.

I know the hammer part, just not the Vorschlag part. 💀

I didn't notice it at first, but the dev(s) who modeled this car went as far as to even replicate the signature ribbed style of Merc tailights of that era. They didn't need to, the lights could've been basic flat blocks. I love this kind of attention to detail.

You're right on this one... My bad!

Also, just noticed when you option for the Euro plates, it removes the rear emblem from the trunk.

What a shame, wanted to have a "normal" 500E.

I guess they figured that as the badge is on the plate, we'd want a badge delete... Here's an idea R*.. Why don't you just make a badge delete option?

I think they're just allergic to the word 'option'. Remember how, after enough backlash, they were practically forced to put the OG unremastered trilogy back on their digital store after first removing it to make only the "remaster" available? Just their own store, not other retailers.

Being a software developer I have some ideas...

To make that little detail function as planned, there's so much work it just doesn't make sense and you usually say f*ck it! Plus, this is a legacy project by now, and more and more bugs pop out with every update.

But after the "Broken edition" I'm starting to heavily doubt R* Q&A because these things are so obvious that one questions if ANYONE did any kind of double check.

If it happened in my company, everyone involved would get fired imidiately. That amount of negligence is just insulting.

OK so there's no denying, this is a very well modelled car.

But in true R* fashion there are always things us fussy car guys are not happy with..

The exhaust options don't do much for me.. I want a twin upswept.

There's not even any nice twins for this car 🙄

My friend had a 500E around 2008. I used to ride with him, and back then, it was still a very fast and well-handling car. I have a regular 150hp gasoline W124 now, but driving it still gives me pleasure and I have no plans to sell it. It's reliable, over-engineered, and has a great 80s vibe inside and out. People still turn their heads when they see it, because cars like this are rare on the road today. It's a joy for any Mercedes fan. Therefore, I'm not surprised that these top-spec 500E models are becoming so expensive at auctions and have so many fans.

So close to a decent interior, if only the silver switch panel and heater controls were black and a proper Mercedes-Benz automatic shifter and a more authentic looking steering wheel.

My Vorschlaghammer still has the trunk badge with the euro plates? Unless that badge is part of the OEM looking spoiler you can use.
