*Concept* Another Game Set In San Andreas

GTA VI may not even be out yet, but one of the best parts of all of Grand Theft Auto are the virtually endless possibilities of what could come next.

 

I remember thinking about what V would be like all the way back in 2010, and VI shortly after the release of V.

 

So I’m still kicking around what the next game could be like because VI is coming, not in spite of.

 

All that out of the way, my idea for another game in San Andreas is as follows:

Set in Northern San Andreas and either the new fictional state of Robada or Eastern San Andreas, it’d consist of San Fierro and Las Venturas, with new cities based on San Diego, San Jose, Oakland, Fresno, Sacramento, Reno, and Boulder City.

 

San Fierro is part of the larger San Fierro Bay metropolitan area, with the GTA versions of Oakland and San Jose.

 

Las Venturas is either still part of San Andreas or in its own state, the fictional state of Robada, which would have the GTA versions of Reno and Boulder City.

 

In one geographic liberty, the GTA version of San Diego is located to the north of Los Santos, making LS the southernmost major city in the state of San Andreas.

Fresno is located to the southeast of the San Fierro Bay Area and to the west of Las Venturas.

 

Returning from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas are the Tierra Robada, Sherman Dam and Area 69. New locations with some geographic liberties are:

 

- The Grand Canyon

- Monument Valley

- Death Valley

- Yosemite Valley and National Park

- Redwood National Parks

- Kings Canyon National Park

- Carson Range

 

New resorts in Las Venturas that weren’t around in 1992 during San Andreas are present with their own cheeky new names:

 

- The Fellatio (The Bellagio)

- The S&M Grand (The MGM Grand)

- Liberty Liberty (New York New York)

- Planet Vinewood (Planet Hollywood)

- The Solozzo (The Palazzo)

- Park S&M (Park MGM)

- The Consigliere (The Venetian)

- Guffaw’s (Harrah’s)

- The CUMulonimbus (The Strat/Stratosphere)

- Spank And Lay Bay (Mandalay Bay)

- The Clumsy Politician (The Cosmopolitan)

- Hardcore (Encore)

- Not sure about the Aria and Wynn

- Sluts-a-Fun (Slots-o-Fun)

- Phallique (Paris)

 

Along with returning resorts from San Andreas:

 

- Caligula’s Palace (Caesars Palace)

- The Camel’s Toe (Luxor)

- Pirates In Men’s Pants is now PIMP (Like how Treasure Island is now TI)

- The Clown’s Pocket (Circus Circus)

- The Pink Swan (The Flamingo)

- Four Dragons, and The High Roller, The Visage, and V-Rock Hotel all have new names due to the Imperial Palace, Bally’s, The Mirage, and Hard Rock Hotel all undergoing changes in real life
