Weekly Event (18th Apr 2024) - Energise Yourself with 4/20 and Earth Day Bonuses, Pass the Blunt with Biker Business Bonuses, Short Trips, Lamar Missions, & More!

Spider-Vice

This week and until 24th April, it's time to unleash your inner love for Gaia - and be Earth's best friend and nurturer - with the celebration of 4/20 and Earth Day, all in the same week! How apt. Help Los Santos get high with bonuses on Biker Businesses, go on an out-of-body experience with Franklin and Lamar with bonuses on Short Trips, help the latter with his Contact Missions, earn rewards for being environmentally friendly (this includes getting high), and more!

Remember this is just a preview, and information may change. On top of that, Rockstar may reserve things for their own Newswire.

We understand that not every Event Week will be to everyone's liking, some will certainly be more exciting than others, but anyway...

Let's get started!

Become One with Earth with 4/20 Bonuses - Short Trips, Biker Business Bonuses, Lamar Contact Missions and More

A few years ago, Lamar Davis decided to take advantage of Los Santos' absolute addiction to the green stuff and make and sell his own via the LD Organics business front! No way to say if it's been successful (good to assume so!), but it sure hasn't stopped Los Santos from taking some time to relax and unwind from the stresses of city life, business management, or perhaps, getting mugged or exploded at any moment.

This week, you can perhaps channel your inner love for Gaia, the personification of Earth, by both celebrating 4/20, and Earth Day. One and the same, right?!

Smoke a few and get motivated to get those cobwebs out of your Biker Businesses as sales and other activities are on a bonus this week, talk to those Street Dealers that you haven't seen in months for an extra on Weed sales, help out Lamar with some of his business propositions for double, or smoke some of that LD Organics special to go on an out-of-body experience and go back to the good old days of Franklin and Lamar's adventures in Short Trips.

  • 2x GTA$ and RP on Franklin and Lamar's Short Trips
    • Complete any one Short Trip to receive the Black High Brass Tee
  • 2x GTA$ on Weed Sales to Street Dealers
  • 2x GTA$ and RP on Biker Business Sell Missions
    • Complete a Biker Business Sell Mission to receive the White High Brass Tee
  • 2x GTA$ and RP on Biker Bar Resupply Missions (hey you may need a drink for that smoke)
  • 2x GTA$ and RP on MC Clubhouse Work, Challenges and Contracts (4x for GTA+ subscribers, stacking with this month's existing bonuses)
  • 2x GTA$ and 4x RP on all Lamar Contact Missions, incl. Lowriders

Also Celebrate Earth Day with Rewards and a Choice of Electrics! Get even Higher in Overtime Rumble

It's certainly apropos that 4/20 is celebrated so close to Earth Day, because after all they might as well be one and the same. Just extend the extra highness this week to Earth Day on 22nd April! This week, Los Santos will see a selection of electric vehicles across the dealerships, both for showing and discounts, but don't be tricked, this won't suddenly mean Simeon or whoever the folks behind Luxury Autos are actually care about the environment. They should though.

On top of that, visiting Los Santos anywhere this week will also net you both 4/20 rewards and Earth Day rewards, so you can show your support for the planet whilst hoping it doesn't suddenly end at the hands of Cliffford and a clone of Avon Hertz. You will also be able to enhance your 4/20 experience by flying with friends and throwing them off their highest spot in Overtime Rumble.

  • 2x GTA$ and RP on Overtime Rumble
  • Login to receive the Green 4/20 Dress and the Coil Earth Day Tree, plus a replenishment of Snacks - you'll be hungry!

Discounts

As already highlighted above, this week, dealerships and showrooms across Los Santos are celebrating Earth Day with a choice of electrics. Don't be tricked by the fact they don't roar, they can still give you a vibe and rip off all of your ribs. If that all sounds ridiculous to you for some reason, no worries as Bikers are getting a taste of petrol for their enhanced business earnings this week.

At the Gun Van, a weapon you perhaps should not use while under the influence, but perhaps it'll feel more fun! Boom! 💥 For those who are members of Los Santos' VIP club GTA+, you'll get your additional typical Gun Van discount - it's noted in a Rockstar-like colour.

Until 24th April:

FREE

  • Motorcycle Club Abilities

30% off

  • Biker Clubhouse Properties, Upgrades and Modifications
  • Biker Businesses and Business Upgrades
  • Western Powersurge
  • Nagasaki Chimera
  • Western Zombie Chopper
  • Penaud La Coureuse
  • Obey i-Wagen (it even has a slogan on this forum!)
  • Coil Cyclone II

40% off

  • Coil Raiden
  • Obey Omnis e-GT

Gun Van:

  • 30% off: RPG
  • 40% off: Grenade Launcher (available for everyone, discounted on GTA+)

Miscellaneous

Salvage Yard Vehicles & Robberies

Each week, Jamal and Yusuf Amir find some brand-new vehicles for you to source for your Chop Shop, and for Jamal to perhaps plaster all over Snapmatic and other social media. This week, check out the following propositions - none are claimable this week.

  • The Duggan Robbery: Canis Kamacho
  • The Gangbanger Robbery: Übermacht Cypher
  • The McTony Robbery: Grotti Furia

The Diamond Casino & Resort Lucky Wheel

This week, the Diamond Casino & Resort is getting ready for a predictable uptick in players. After all, perhaps a bit of the herb might make some people more adventurous and willing to spend some of their hard-earned cash on hoping that the supposed gods of the Earth will give them the treatment they deserve. Will that be reality? Well...

Meanwhile in the backstage, Diamond staff are trying to get Felipe to try smoking weed because of his massive amounts of stress over everything that is going on, especially as this week he might be able to relax a bit. It might work!

However, in complete but perhaps expected opposition of Earth Day (thanks Duggan), this week's Lucky Wheel vehicle is not electric, but a quick n sleek sports car that seems to have been spotted as far as Vice City. Help yourself to a blunt this week for your rituals, and spin the wheel for a chance to win an Invetero Coquette D10.

LS Car Meet Prize Ride

After an influx of clueless executives visiting the Car Meet and leaving, a handful of the more hardcore tuner-heads have another enemy to endure. Electric cars. Oh no! Anyway, it's not like they'll have to fight for what goes up on the Slamtruck, as it is not an electric, even if Hao just wants to push their eyes into their skulls because of his selection this week.

This week, and perhaps try to not do it under the influence, contribute once more to Los Santos pollution by placing Top 4 in the LS Car Meet for 4 days in a row, to win the Dewbauchee JB 700W.

Okay, maybe said tuner-heads are still gonna pop a vein because of these vehicles. Oh the misery - they should try driving some, maybe they're fast!

For testing and/or buying this week:

  • Pegassi Tezeract
  • Obey i-Wagen
  • Pfister Neon

As above, Hao just seems to want to bash people's skulls in, because he can't understand how even in the, quoting, "year of our Lord 2024", people are still so up in arms about electric cars when they can be just as fast and perhaps reliable (okay, maybe there's an argument to be made about Avon Hertz' cars) as regular cars. Regardless, the man's a saint and doesn't discriminate, and on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5, you can find the Coil Cyclone II HSW as this week's offering for buying, testing or upgrading.

Premium Deluxe Motorsports

  • Överflöd Imorgon (R)
  • Coil Raiden (R)
  • Coil Voltic (R)
  • Penaud La Coureuse (also 40% off)
  • Obey Omnis e-GT (also 40% off)

Luxury Autos

  • Declasse Impaler LX
  • Karin Asterope GZ

Time Trials and Premium Races

This week across the state of San Andreas, find the following time trials and premium race. The Regular Time Trial is on double this week, for all adrenaline-seeking drivers.

  • Muscle Premium Race: Muscle In
  • Regular Time Trial: Casino
  • HSW Time Trial: North Chumash to Palomino Highlands

Weekly Challenge

Starting with the Chop Shop DLC, citizens all across the state now don't only have a few daily objectives to perform, but also a weekly challenge, for a free GTA$100K and the Black 4/20 Cap

  • Earn GTA$100K in Biker Business Sales (yes, you do get another 100K)

Meh week. I'll do a cocaine sell mission to get the T-shirt and the weekly challenge, but otherwise even 2x pay isn't worth the annoying sell missions and frequent raids. I now have over $602M in the bank after making a fortune on selling crates this past week, so I'll just take it easy this coming week.

Everything was fairly well stocked via stash houses.  Topped up earlier, will probably sell all of them once each tomorrow, then whatever stash houses have topped up next Wednesday.

One thing I'm not clear on - Free MC abilities.

I understand CEO abilities, but I didn't know there were MC ones too

Nothing worthy business-wise. But after two straight weeks of money raining upon us, a chill week to paint cars and leisure driving is well deserved.

For those that still do biker stuff on 2024, I don't understand you but I definitely respect you *Bro Love sign*

I wouldn't touch MC businesses again for x4. The very thought of constant raids and a pathetic sell missions makes me sick

Oh and of course TONY MC'f*ckING'TONY and GANGBANGER again, they can do one as well

A week's break for me whilst I count the countless millions made from crates last week

If we're talking quadruple cash and RP then this is probably the 2nd best news I've heard all week, right behind the fact Keanu Reeves is voicing Shadow in Sonic The Hedgehog 3. I'm definitely making C.R.E.A.M. this week.

Great, they've finally more or less stopped giving cosmetics with that old system where you don't receive stuff after event ends and replaced it with another buggy system where weekly challenges keep glitching out.

Does anyone know which of the unlockable clothing items are new ones and which ones are repeating ones?

I think the 4.20 black vapid tee was already offered in 04 / 2021. Not sure about the brass knuckles, the 420 cap or the 4.20 black tee.

Great cars incoming to sale, just what I needed to to spend crate and contact mission money from last weeks

Kind of interested to try out the coke business for the first time. Bought the cash, coke and metamphetamine businesses from a sale early this month just to fund my nightclub warehouse, but haven’t touched the MC stuff again since.
Never bought the MC stuff on my OG character because I didn’t want to receive those annoying calls from LJT, etc.

So sales will be very bad on solo. Are raids difficult to defend as well because people complain about them. At what point should I sell the stock?

Not massively difficult in themselves, in my experience but you might be miles away and doing something else when the call comes.

The value of the stock isn't progressive like crates, so it's down to whether you want to do more small deliveries or occasional big deliveries (that will often be the equivalent of 3 small deliveries back to back anyway)

Do you get raided at all if you always abandon the MC as soon as you’re done with it and only active, when it’s time to sell?

Are the upgrades worth it for cocaine? Other than security

I know that you can also sell to the dealers daily, so no need to make sales at all if those are terrible.

All of the clothing unlocks this week are new. There is a Coil shirt this week, not the Vapid 4.20.

For Coke, you should sell once you reach $108,000 (Non-upgraded) or $124,000 (Single upgrade) or $140,000 (Equip+Staff upgrades)

For Cash, $75,600 (Non-upgraded) or $86,800 (Single upgrade) or $98,000 (Equip+Staff upgrades)

For Meth, $91,800 (Non-upgraded) or $105,400 (Single upgrade) or $119,000 (Equip+Staff upgrades)

Focus more on the Coke business because you'll easily reach the raid threshold.

You should be good. I believe there's a 10 to 15 second window before a raid is triggered if you've met all the conditions. But I tested that window for when you register as an MC President. Not sure if it's the same for when completing a sell mission.

Definitely. They reduce the production time to half an hour and produce 70k worth of stack. The Equipment upgrade reduces the material cost. So a full supply would produce you 4 stacks of Coke or two bars, instead of two stacks or one bar.

I only sell to street dealers anymore, so 2X$ will be nice. They need to permanently raise that. The biker business's need a serious overhaul on sales methods. The biker business's are nice for the nightclub that I still do sales for though. Nightclub sales are great.

Should be good now. They just updated the PC tuna.

It was an AC-related update that falsely detected legitimate players, thus causing the crashes and sending reports to Rockstar.

They were for me - I had it fully stocked yesterday, with no upgrades.  Sale price showed as $405k this morning.  Did the two equip / staff updates before selling, and my sale price went to $1m - for the stock I'd already produced.  If I do another full sale this week (which is fairly likely) then the upgrades will be worth it.  If my next sale is not at double money, then it's probably 2 more full sales - which might take a while, given how infrequently I bother with them.

Was leaning towards doing the same for Meth, but on reflection will probably not.

*buys supplies for coke for first time in ages*

*lets bar fill up ready to sell*

*checks stock INSIDE arcade*

*gets raided*

*Succesfully defends business*

*starts sell mission - 2 post op vans*

*closes game*

I am sorry but if you actively enjoy MC businesses you need your head testing, I am NEVER touching them again, they actively make me want to vomit

Always do the salvage robberies (and yes, of course TONY MCTONY) but they are OK, all 3 robberies with setups in around 2 hours

I'll stick to (when playing) my normal routine - Bunker/Nightclub/Acid/Casino Heist (cancelling whenever it is cash and waiting for art or gold)

I haven't bought supplies for any of my biker businesses for a long time. They only get restocked with stash houses that I do everyday and I sell to street dealers as I come across them. Otherwise I just do the sales at my nightclub from what they collect there. I only have enough biker businesses that my nightclub staff can handle. So I still make money off of them without having to do barely anything or have to deal with any of the extra BS. They basically just run themselves. Otherwise it's a mind-numbing ordeal that I'd rather just shut them all down.
