Does the color of the environment change according to the player's choices? (theory)

Recommended Posts

Guys, a theory popped up in a Brazilian Facebook group. Basically, it goes like this: depending on Niko's choices throughout the storyline, the color scheme of the environment changes. If he doesn't hang out much with friends and chooses to kill (not spare) characters, the game becomes more gray and gloomy. Conversely, if he spares characters and hangs out with friends frequently, the game becomes more colorful.

Is this true?

We know that the color scheme in the DLCs is different, but I've never noticed this theory of the color changing throughout the game. However, many people are discussing it.

I never noticed any difference. I'll say the colors don't change. I have multiple saves of the game completed too, sparing and not, it's all the same to me. I think people might be confusing the weather or something?

The only difference as you said is between the DLCs I think.

It's an interesting theory, and I do know the weather cycles have a saturation slider to go along with it.

tbh, I doubt it's real but the mechanics are there to make it a reality.
