i wish we could have gotten like one good unmasked shot of jason, from the front in the game itself. we're basing a lot on the artwork which is stylized. everything else is profile view lol

 

main difference for me is that he's way older. he has wrinkles in the shot in the car. leaked jason looked early 20s, this guy is definitely 30+. i dunno, both are fine i guess. i'm glad the voice seems way toned down from "HELLO THERE"

First thing I noticed too was how different he looks. I saw a lot of people saying he’s aged but to me it looks like a completely different actor.

He looks a lot better now if you ask me, I was never sold on the leaked version of him but this version I’m more intrigued by. Think it’s also apparent they changed his voice actor - I know he only says one word but his voice was different to the voice in the leaks. Lucia sounded somewhat the same.

I thought he looked like Commander Shepard in the trailer, definitely preferred the pre-alpha model, much more distinctive. The current model kinda looks generic and less "hillbilly"-ish.

It's funny, when the leaks came out you could see two clips of Jason with longer, shaggier hair. I knew from the get-go that I'd have Jason with longer hair, but after seeing him in the trailer I don't know if I can see him with longer hair lol. The buzzcut really works for him

Totally agree. He looks a lot more dangerous and grizzled, like he's seen some sh*t and could mess you up in a fight. Definitely makes sense for a desperate street criminal.

This is the description I was looking for. Less on the Niko Bellic part, I don’t see it personally. For me, Niko will forever be Sasha from Behind Enemy Lines.

Jason now looks like a gruff hoodlum. Has more meanness to him as opposed to that good looking/average look he had in the leaks.

 

He looks like the guy who’d pocket and steal your lighter after asking for a cigarette.

Lucia looks a tiny bit different but is still looking great.

 

They're the first young and attractive main characters in the series.

Really digging the new look. I just wish we had a better shot of him from the front, like Lucia. He looked a bit too redneck in the leaks to me.

 

Although, I can't shake the feeling that he looks a lot like RDR2 Epilogue John from the few shots we've seen. Maybe it's just the RAGE male character model effect, lmfao.

I liked the buff version from the leak where he and Lucia were walking on a open road holding a pistol. I guess this means he's older than that he looked like in the early builds. Probably 32-34
