Reminded of Circoloco, praying that the game isn't overrun with six Ibiza club music radio stations in a game that's supposed to take place in Miami :cringekek:

I want atleast 4 radio stations playing Detroit techno, totally fitting the vibe of Miami

The numbers. DON'T. FORGET. THE NUMBERS. Sales numbers, preorder numbers, trailer 2 views

Russell Crowe in his shed over here. A schizo like all the other posters.

nobody asks:"how is trailer 2?" 😔💔

Not great, not terrible. I've seen a preview copy of it that they're releasing alongside the delay announcement next week.

I don't know know too much about the business or developing of games but I always wanted to know who is the guy/s that check the game and says "Its ready"

I don't know either but it should be a coordinator of the QA ops, when all features are tested and ready he greenlights it I suppose, with further review by the the higher ups in R*

But again I have no idea how this process is

So, is it out?

THE NEXT FEW MINUTES ARE CRITICAL.

Any moment Rockstar will come out with the official announcement that Read Dead Redemption 1 is now available for PC, and at the end of the announcemt will tell us to expect a new GTA6 trailer by the end of the week.

(im losing my mind from all this waiting)

Sam Houser has the final say. Unless you're referring to QA, then it's not one guy, but whole teams.

At the end, it's all up to Sam. Last year, he was visiting all R* studios, in Oct, with higher-ups one after the other to check on VI development. Hence how some rumors circulated prior to the email that Jason Schreier saw.

Depends on the studio probably. As Tez says Sam Houser probably has the final say at R*, but I doubt it's a decision he makes alone. They still have a lot of people with tons of experience making projects at this scale.

Also RDR1 is finally out on PC... what a surreal moment for a PC gamer and R* fan. Not picked it up just yet, got other stuff to play and the price is abit steep for me, but watching a few streams has definitely made me wanna pick it up on sale when a place in my backlog opens up, if only for the nostalgia lol.

This impending title will, arguably, be the first where he receives zero pushback and goes forward with his vision unchecked. No Dan. No Benzies.

If he had this unlimited power back in 2004, we would have been filing up gas tanks in San Andreas.

There are other higher-ups like Aaron Garbut, Rob Nelson, Jennifer Kolbe, and others who influence the decision-making and sometimes keep him in check. I recall he wanted to push back the Nov announcement by a week just to screw Schreier, but he was talked out of it.

Didn't you say Sam wanted large advertising posters of VI around major cities last December. What ever happened to that?

Not surprised, always wondered if it rubbed Rockstar the wrong way when he first leaked details about the game and about the November announcement.

Who was responsible for RDR2's realistic approach to gameplay?

The entire development community despises leaks lol.

The current leak-culture in the industry is a major frustration among developers. Near everything gets leaked now, there's very very few genuine surprises.

I adore Sam's pettiness sometimes

I give this one more week and then I call quits for 2024 ... for me it's Spring 2025 then when we'll hear next about GTA VI.

Advertising posters for a game that won't be out for at least another year is a bit silly, no? Maybe Sam realized that before he burnt lots of money or T2 stopped him from doing so. It's not even guaranteed the game releases in Fall 2025 so what's the point?

Why 1 week? Trailer 1 was released on December 5th, which was a month from the current date.

Ohhhh, thought that you said that. Them announcing if for 2024 was false tho. Are they really certain on hitting 2025? In trailer 2, should we get a narrow release date from Rockstar?

Wasn't everything they said false? There were no billboards and the "might be announced for 2024 but probably scheduled for an internal delay to 25" guess was also wrong.

That info dates back to May 2023 during Take-Two's conference call, where they projected a significant increase in Net Bookings for fiscal 2025. We do know from the forecast that Take-Two was expecting a release window in late 2024.

Realistically, there's def gonna be like 2-3 club music radio stations that just plays EDM, Tropical House, Techno, and other genres as well given the fact that it's taking place in Miami :starekek:

So Sam was on drugs when he visited Grove Street Games to see GTA Trilogy :kekw:
