New GTA Online Update Coming this December

No mention of a new Career Progress category for the chop shop, but I'm hopeful there will be one with decent rewards

They have been trying to make drifting a thing in this game since 2013...Here's hoping that now, with actual drift mods, that they finally let cars drift and not bog down like they do.

 

And in a peak R* logic moment, almost all vehicles can have low grip tires, but now only a selected few will have the drift mods.

 

God I can't help but think they whatever they have in store for that, it will either be useless and miss the mark, or it will somehow be too OP and they will nerf it to oblivion in another update in the future, making it useless.

In fairness in terms of features and QoL we'll probably get another post detailing extra stuff so we'll see. Might not get everything in the posts, I assume the new DLC will be a part of Career Progress too.

interestingly reds was a red dead redemption easter egg. the logo has the same font for the rdr logo.. there is a reds business in paleto bay. i hope that gets some use. i love paleto bay but there still isn't much to do up there.

At this point is becoming quite hard to understand and come up with an excuse for that. Rockstar puts empty Gen9 files on PC for what then?! Why they keep not put E&E on PC boogles my mind, it's either the greed of not having a real excuse to charge us another PC version of the game, which would be scandalous and/or affraid that GTA+ wouldn't sell so well on PC due to modders.

Looks like one of the new Vehicle Robbery missions has us steal the Turismo Omaggio from the Casino.

The Dugans uses those Kamachos in the casino missions, so it must be them, but I don't remember then using blue outfits.

Those character "birthday" reward thing seems also nice. Always do something or take clip/photos on my character arrival anniversary. In fact ive one just today.

Yusuf was never shy of giving us plenty of money in GTA4: The Ballad of Gay Tony, hopefully Rockstar keeps his payouts realistic to that.

I can't believe it... I even understand that players who have GTA+ receive the garage with 100 spaces for free, but will other consoles and especially the PC not have this garage to buy?!

The 100 car storage GTA+ thing is annoyingly vague. Will it be available to to everyone after a certain time frame? What happens if you cancel? If they are locking car storage behind a pay wall then it's worse than the car purge imo.
