It'd be also interesting to know if some game mechanics (like swimming) are still tied to 60 FPS. Swimming in particular is extremely slow over 30 FPS.

Netflix's only involvement with the mobile DE was adding free to play versions for subscribers (and seemingly, the marketing rights?). The fact that there are also separate, paid versions of each game is further evidence of this.

High end mobile devices are much more powerful than a Nintendo Switch, for example. It is no surprise so many PC games are coming out on mobile (Rainbow Six, VALORANT, GTA, Call of Duty, etc.)

Playing Drive Misty for Me in GTA III would probably be the best way to figure out horn functionality in these versions. I'm pretty sure that mission requires using it to progress.

Probably it works on III, but not SA?

The games still have different executables after all...

Mistakes could definitely be made.

The fact this game took an extra two years of development and another team to get to this level shows you how completely unrealistic were Take Two's expectations to have this done in 2021 with GSG.

On Android, nothing wrong with bloom in Vice City on my end. I could feel a pretty big difference toggling it on and off.

I always loved San Fierro in the game. Back in the day I always felt that the city was way far out beyond the countryside and stuff and gave it a sense like “damn, we’re a ways from Los Santos.”

Looking at the localisation files, they seemingly fixed K-JAH so it actually says K-JAH Radio instead of JAH Radio.

 

"Highest Score for The Shooter" is now "Highest Score for The Shootist" which is the correct mission name.

 

Probably more... But there do seem to be localisation fixes.

Is the classical lighting only on the Netflix version? what about the other versions of this mobile release?

I am thinking: if it's on mobile in general, it may not be tied to any marketing stuff.

 

I sure hope fixes and improvements like this aren't tied to a specific release, especially for this product and all the shenanigans and negative reputation it has.
