I guess they messed up then? Because there also is no patch available for PC and other platforms.

I wouldn't expect a patch. In all likelihood there won’t be one for the existing console versions BUT I hope I'm wrong on that.

As for the Netflix release, it'll either be later today or tomorrow. I would assume it will release at the same time everywhere later today.

Considering that the last qabeta update was 2 months ago and that there wasn't much movement before, I think it's pretty safe to assume that a PC patch isn't in the workings... Not yet at least.

Still says “expected December 15” on the US iOS App Store; I don’t have an Android device at the moment, but the Play Store pages also continue to say “Pre-Register” when I look at them on my browser.

Perhaps they will go live around 12-1PM EST? I have no idea.

I just got the notification for VC as well.

So is there a chance of a patch incoming for the other versions (RGL, Steam, consoles)?

Also can you post comparison shots please.

They're now downloadable on iOS as well.

So consoles and PC are going to get these changes, right?

I'm on Android and still not seeing them, only the original mobile versions. I can only see them when I google 'GTA Netflix' and there are links to the store pages there, but it says my device isn't compatible...guessing I may be out of luck. Still, looking forward to seeing what's been done.

Sad news for M1+ MacOS users. Unlike GSG's original ports, the Netflix versions don't show up in the iPhone/iPad search results. I have no clue about Apple TV, though, as I don't own one. Looks like we'll have to wait and see if the changes ever make it to consoles/PC proper (and if it's like the lack of E&E and RDR1 on PC, I'm not getting my hopes up).

Incidentally, I'll probably wait for some user-uploaded screenshots to see if it's worth re-subbing to Netflix; my family, friends and I haven't bothered upping our subs ever since they cracked down on sharing. :starekek:

EDIT: Do the iOS versions at least run at 60FPS this time around? I know it's possible on Android for the original III and VC ports (as well as SA with CLEO), but over on Apple devices, LCS is the only mobile GTA that supports higher frame rates. The rest have been stuck at 30FPS for over a decade (unless you muck about with GTA III's .set file on a jailbroken device, although I could never get this to work with VC).

Video Games Deluxe (VGD), the studio (offshoot of Team Bondi) that has been working with R* for a number of years now, is behind it. :) The new plugins have their name, looks like they do mobile stuff too not just VR.

Welp, I'm guessing SA VR (if it's still in development) will be based on the DE, then. Can't say I'm surprised, but I hope it's based on the newer mobile codebase, and not the current console/PC versions that are still plagued with fundamental issues.

Seems the broken sprinting in GTA 3 has been fixed. There’s also a new garage door sound that replaces the old repeating broken one. Hope these changes are patched in on the other versions. Classic lighting looks pretty good too.
