Don't do this because they are just hired to work on these by R*, it's not up to them to give that information out, nor they would have permission to - in fact, they may not even know if more work will be requested of them. Don't spam their professional social network profiles.

Does anyone remember if this was an issue before the update and even the patches and just returned? (SNP SA Help & Support section a user had this issue, took screenshots of it)

The blip/yellow marker stays on the map after the truck side missions. Anyone knows something about this? I remember something like that with the first release of TDE.

Edit: This now can be fixed with gtasnp, under save edits tab. You can remove it if someone has same issue.

most likely due to GSG using the same old collisions as the ps2 versions (blocky and low poly) while using some ai algorithm to artificially smooth the models, but keeping the 2001 collisions. honestly that spot you showed wasnt even that bad. If i remember correctly there was a place in vinewood hills/richman area where your entire car would be clipped through the ground and you can see nothing, if i find a photo of it i will edit it in but im pretty sure they fixed it in this new update

Do you mean the $50 Good Citizen Bonus that you get from punching someone who is being chased by a cop? If so, that's still a thing in the DE.

That pretty much confirms there will be another patch soon. They will also fix the bug where some keys are bound to "#."

Saying they appreciate the feedback, to me, suggests they are not done yet. Why would they take feedback if the game is finished?

I've been searching for a camera fix for a few years. That's the only thing I could find (never tested it though)

I contacted jaydeedilla for more info on this, he promised to get back to me, so we'll see.

This fence in this tunnel used to have no collision. It has been fixed.

These are some of the fixes that I have found. There is another one I can post with a bunch more. I've seen people over the last few days posting what has been resolved and Throught I could share some I haven't seen addressed. :)

I hope the wires will be fixed. These thick pieces hanging on some parts of the map, flying into buildings. It looks so shabby and immediately catches the eye

Part 2 (This will be my last one) As there is more across all 3 I'm just gonna stop here.

 

This Casinos roof had no collision on the sides. This has been fixed.

CJ used to clip through the terrain almost completely behind the fence. This has been fixed. (Yet the fence is still not in the correct spot)

In GTA San Andreas the cheat code that would give you health, money and more will now fix your car.

 

In GTA VC when using the Black Cars cheat it wouldn't work properly. Instead cars would be lime green and pink. This has been "fixedish" Yet the transition is still weird as cars will be shiny green for a few moments until changing properly.

When sitting in this spot by the mansion the rain wouldn't hit the ground properly. Instead the rain dropped by the cars height. Not the grass. This has been fixed.

Overall I'm happy with this update and All the fixes it brought. However there is still massive issues in some areas. Animations need fixed, Camera needs adjusted in SA, Flight controls in SA are busted, Still there's a bunch of collision issues and Bugs across the 3 games. Mostly SA. Missing effects and Features. Floating objects in areas and Objects in SA falling through the ground. (Not just light post) Textures and Maps textures not connecting properly. Plus some lighting issues in Cutscenes on VC. For example Lance in one of the first cutscenes is hardly visible. There's probably more I missed and By the looks of it VGD could still be working on these. I really hope they can add and fix things that weren't missing or present before.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but I noticed this weird thing on the side of the BF Injection after driving it around for awhile. Looks like something from the wheel got stretched/misplaced.

San Andreas Problems

 

San Andreas Basketball Trick Animations aren't animated correctly anymore 

San Andreas Melee Car Damage Inconsistent

San Andreas Light Poles Fall Through The Map as well as Other objects like fence, hay bales and possibly more

San Andreas Power Lines in some areas need attention 

San Andreas Textures need fixed across the map still

San Andreas props spawn inconsistently like fence, boxes and more

San Andreas has props that are there but you can go through them even tho they don't show (Spawns Inconsistent)

San Andreas has Black Holes in the map when flying

San Andreas Draw Distance needs fixed (When far away the textures are messed up)

San Andreas Ambulance spawning is non existent or barely at all

San Andreas Cops will repeat lines constantly even if you are away from them they'll still sound like there beside you (For Example Go To The SFPD police department)

San Andreas SFPD has a guard room outside the garage that has a light on but when close it shuts off every time

San Andreas has some trees that have effects when hit in certain places across the map but mostly are non existent

San Andreas has some textures of the terrain to high where it shows the map below or isn't connected properly across the map (Some to mention are by the Vinewood sign road leading up and Area 69)

San Andreas 4 dragons casinos pillars have no collision 

San Andreas Pool Table Animations need fixed

San Andreas Needs High Speed Feel Back

San Andreas While using heat goggles bodies will no longer change color as they decay

San Andreas Los Santos Pier Entrance has cars going into the ground when driving at higher speeds (As well as other locations across the map) 

San Andreas has areas where CJ can fall through the map

San Andreas dessert rocks mostly all have bad collisions or clipping through objects

San Andreas Pier Beach has an invisible prop that CJ floats on by the shore just barely in the water (Left Side) (It's a rock but didn't show the first so could be bugged visually)

San Andreas has flickering textures on roads and sometimes after explosions

San Andreas will have cars disappear in front of you or even while looking back in short distances from them

San Andreas needs to fix Pop Ins

San Andreas has roads that sink in at certain areas that are very noticeable

San Andreas Infinite Health Cheat still doesn't work properly on Console

San Andreas has floating props like Junk Cars, Semi Trailers and More possibly

San Andreas A 69 cent store can be clipped through when jumping and holding onto the building

San Andreas Mount Chilliad has a fence in the middle of the road and has some fences not connecting the ground properly

San Andreas has a mansion in Vinewood hills that has a collision issue in the front

San Andreas Golf course top part has a flickering corner by the fence and the fence has a collision issue for most of it

San Andreas Jetpacks thrusters are no longer animated

San Andreas While CJ reverses in the car his head glitches out all over the place when trailed by cops

San Andreas when honking your horn the cops sirens will reset

San Andreas has missing collisions to fences in the bottom right corner of the map as well as the billboards legs near by

San Andreas still has Cargo container collision issues in areas. 

San Andreas CJ holds weapons incorrectly like the Rifle (His left hand isn't touching while aiming)

San Andreas free camera needs adjustments

San Andreas flight controls need adjusted

San Andreas While on a date the screen no longer shakes when well you know lol

San Andreas If CJ runs into a Vehicle is sounds like he's hitting it

San Andreas Please fix effects for shooting targets, destroying fences and More

San Andreas If there's any missing features that shouldn't be missing please bring them back

San Andreas Pro Laps clothing store in upper Los Santos won't let me change clothing bc there's no red circle to stand in and The mirror isn't working

 

Just from what I've played and Can Remember 

 

Vice City Problems

 

Vice City Melee damage doesn't work on hoods or if so barely works

Vice City While hitting doors and trunks they spawn on the other side

Vice City is missing the Palm Tree Leaves floating in the wind

Vice City Bike physics are messed up, like wheelies, stoppies and Sometimes while coming to a stop Tommy will do a full front flip and Not fall off. As well as a 360.

Vice City While using the flame thrower sometimes it'll point to the side before firing straight

Vice City has a texture not aligned correctly in the overhead at the mall by the starting building where your dropped off to the left when

Vice City has a cutscene that needs lighting adjusted (When you first meet Lance the Lightning is to dark)

Vice City Tommy's left foot always (almost) clips through the floor)

Vice City When stealing a car the car alarm will repeat on loop (Like the chainsaw did)

 

Just from what I've played and Remember

 

GTA 3 Problems 

 

GTA3 Melee damage doesn't work properly on vehicle's

GTA3 Melee damage on cars teleports on the wrong side like doors and possibly more

GTA3 Has textures that need fixed aross the map like leaves, cracks and more possibly

GTA3 Has map texture issues by the Car Junker in multiple locations 

GTA3 Is missing the news papers and more floating in the wind

GTA3 Has transparent steps leading down to the water and By that is a black hole missing water covering it

GTA3 Lighthouse wall is messed up and Hanging off

GTA3 Has light post by the starting area where you drop off hanging over the railroad track (Which was rotated in the OG to prevent the train from clipping through it)

GTA3 Cars on the bridge will drive on air and under when the bridge is up

GTA3 Has a pair of steps that sits on smoke or sidewalk texture

GTA 3 has some fences not connected properly in multiple locations

 

Just from what I've played and Remember. I know this is a lot and If there's anymore I find I'll submit them to Rockstar. Please don't forget to do the same for things that bother you. We payed for these and These should be the Definitive Editions after all. 

 

GTA VC original version (and please, someone please open that version of all GTA to check what is missing/buggy) has news papers as well, so a fix is needed (and no, i don't want PC version of news papers; PC version of news papers are GTA 3 news papers...)

 

In GTA SA all lamps fall through the map when you hit it

 

In GTA VC & GTA SA when you press middle clic of mouse Tommy and Carl don't look behind

 

In GTA SA geyser doesn't work

 

In GTA3, VC, SA when you use classic lighting there is a weird strong yellow reflection that change colors of cars, and is very bad

 

In GTA3, VC, SA some text i think that are still scaled badly (also in some cars); some of these text are still blurry

 

In GTA VC where you see the parked Comet there are missing textures, as are already missing in original PC version

 

In GTA SA i see some flickering in highway

 

In the original PS2 version of GTA SA (also GTAIII & VC) Helicopter rotors and plane propellers have a blurring effect, in the original PC version of GTA SA and in GTA III, VC, SA D.E. is totally missing

Why do you want the original? Mods, YES. BUT in its purest form, it is trash mutilated by Rockstar themselves. YOU install it now it's more broken than the reissues on the release

I have only played the last update for a couple minutes but those are the things I noticed:

 

- The looping pay n spray sound is only fixed with a bandaid. Instead of an "opening" sound followed by a looping "still moving" sound in the original, now they only have the latter.

- The Sentinel has uneven headlights, and the doors float in the air when open, the hinges are incorrectly placed

- This may be by design but Misty now runs instead of walking to your car, and the car stops immediately when you touch the mission marker, not letting you park all the way in front of the alley to Luigi's club

- In SA if you go North across the golden gate bridge and follow the highway, the bridge there has a hole in it at the top.

Some quick things from San Andreas I've noticed:

 

- the Rimmers shirt a Grove Street gang member wears in the cutscenes of the missions "House Party", "Los Sepulcros" and "The Green Sabre" still reads the awful AI upscaling of "Rimino's";

- in the cutscene of the mission "Farewell, My Love...", the ZR-350 is mistakenly silver, despite being black in gameplay (this is fixed in the PS2 version);

- in the cutscene of the mission "Stowaway", the Bobcats are black but when you see government agents loading crates into them, they appear white, only to be black again in gameplay (this is fixed in the PS2 version);

- Big Smoke's statue in the Crack Palace uses his beta model like in the original game, would be nice if they would update it to use his final model;

- in the last cutscene of the game, we can see a police car behind Tenpenny's firetruck, would be nice if they could remove it (this police car was his getaway car in the beta).

 

Also, in III, the music from the police ball in "The Fuzz Ball" mission is missing.

While diffing the game files I had the impression that some of the fixes were only 50% finished which led me to think that we'll maybe get another patch but it's really hard to know really.

 

How long until Rockstar thinks: "This is good enough"?

I've been seeing a lot of casuals online claiming "The Trilogy is finally fixed!". I'm worried that R* may be taking these sorts of comments at face value, seeing it as a sign that they can pack their bags and move on.

 

I really hope the higher-ups at R* and T2 are paying attention to those of us who acknowledge that things are heading in the right direction, but that there is still much that needs to be done before these versions have any semblance of deserving their "Definitive Edition" monikers. EDIT: F*ck it, I'd even be willing to put up with the remaining mobile port jank if the character models were the only other thing they overhauled.

 

Otherwise, and I know I'm a broken record at this point, they need to admit their faults and just relist the originals on Steam and PS4/PS5. Since they were relisted on the RGL ages ago, surely it can't be that difficult.

In Vice City on Switch, the Minigun pick up outside Vercetti Mansion is broken (if any other Switch user could also confirm I'd appreciate it). I remember this was previously the case at Hyman Condo but it's been fixed at that location. I'll submit this to the support site.

thank you SO MUCH for working on DE.

I'm tired of seing nothing but cartoony cars and characters being done for it on Nexus...

(and base SA becomes an unstable mess after just a bit of modding)

Yup it bothers me so much. It is NOT FIXED. It is however, improved. A lot! VGD did great work and made a lot of progress over these past couple months but more would be appreciated.

I'm glad they changed the fire effects on cars but It still needs adjustments with the smoke. It's barely visible and Needs to change as the damage increases. From White, Grey, Black and Then Fire. As well as the amount of smoke when getting worse

Also tire smoke has improved by being white but is barely noticeable

Don’t know about VC, but CJ never looked behind when you clicked the right stick, at least in the pc version with mods and ginput. 
 

he follows the camera but doesn’t look behind.

Between version 1.112.48699928 and 1.113.49697469 for San Andreas, they seem to have made improvements to:

- Skeletal Meshes of Peds:

  • Millie Perkins (crogrl)
  • Stripper (vbfyst2)
  • Business Woman (wfybu)

- They added ScalarParameterValues, VectorParameterValues, and StreamingData to the Neon_OnlyNight material

- Fixes to SaveData and scripts

- Fixes to Ambience audio looping

- Improved countn2_4 LOD/popping by increasing its delay property
