GTA 3 Definitive Edition on PC dodo handling

Just a simple question: How can I fly dodo? Do someone has a step by step tutorial on how to use a controller on PC to enable dodo flying? I want to use the DODO to get the hidden package on bridge from Staunton to SSV as a mega start save.

For controller you can just search on youtube, tons of tutorials like this one< Do you mean something else? Like specifically how to get that package on the bridge?

Ah I see you are trying to re-map them with Xbox 360 controller? based on your other comment..

Hi, @44Orca, thanks for your information. Finally, I got it done. Here is the step-by-step instructions on how to achieve this:

 

1. Download reWASD to map keyboard to xbox 360 controller. The key point is to do the following mapping in reWASD:

    a. DODO accelerate: keyboard "up arrow" to xbox's right trigger (RT);

    b. DODO handbrake: keyboard "down arrow" to xbox's left trigger(LT);

    c. DODO turn left: keyboard "left arrow" to xbox's LEFT stick's left direction;

    d. DODO turn right: keyboard "right arrow" to xbox's LEFT stick's right direction;

    e. DODO nose down: keyboard "q" to xbox's LEFT stick's up direction;

    f. DODO nose up: keyboard "e" to xbox's LEFT stick's down direction;

2. Download and use x360ce simulator to accept input from reWASD and open the game (LibertyCity.exe). Then, you can control your DODO as if you are using a controller.

 

Now, I have successfully got that hidden package. Accelerate and keep nose down starting from the ramp of the bridge after you get a DODO from airport. When almost arriving at the bridge lift part, relase nose down and hit nose up, there is some chance you can land on the lift bridge. Keep practice, you will land on it and use the DODO's body to jump to get the hidden package.

@alexanderzjs @44Orca I don't get it what reWASD is needed for? I have just installed x360ce and mapped keys in this tool. After applying, virtual device is added and everything works in GTA3.
