Do you think canonically Niko ever tries his luck with Kate?

So I’m a revenge canonist personally and I think by the end of the game Niko and Kate have dated a lot and exhausted all the possible dates and dialogues canonically. I’m pretty sure she will never accept and I’m wondering if maybe Niko does at some point maybe towards the beginning, and her turning him down is maybe something that makes him more interested in her as he respects that she is the only person in his life with moral standards or something like that and she’s a way for him to some day settle down and become non criminal.

Well yes. Most of the time when you try your luck with Kate Niko won't actually ask to come inside. He'll say something like " You're a nice girl Kate" or " I had a great time" Kate will of course do her usual church girl routine and act all flustered. So yes I would say it's canon. I'm a revenge guy too. But I do think Kate as a character was a failure. The writers definitely failed in making the player care for her like Niko does.

the problem is you have to go on dates to see the chemistry that niko and kate have the writers and voice actors did a good job imo. Most players probably didn't bother  with the dates since she doesn't have a special ability like kiki or alex
