I think the graphics mod in question does replace that file, I would have to look at the contents but I know it modifies files with similar names. I did have the alagga installed first last time as well, so I'm not exactly sure the issue, I'm thinking it may have had something to do with windows//doors. But that is just a complete guess. My game is rather modded right now so I am a little bit worried about adding something else in. Sooner or later I will make this a little side project to get working! Maybe make LC a bit more immersive with a god tier mod such as this one your working on!

Sorry for late response. Along with what you mentioned, also added were entries for the playing radios (RON_GAS_BROKER, RON_GAS_BOHAN, RON_GAS_ALGONQUIN, RON_GAS_DUKES, RON_GAS_DUKES_2, RON_EAST_HOOK). "AMBIENT_EMITTER_LIST_01" also had changes made to it. And that's it.

Just a quick update: If I can find the time, Liberty Alive will soon get a small update, which will include various playability fixes, new navmeshes, a new interior, and some other things.

This means this list is probably going to include: TERROIL_INTERIOR as well. 🙂

Actually, I've tested the mod a few times with an already completed savegame, and I haven't run into any issues recently. I don't know why, because I used to have car washes spawn in various places, Roman's taxi depot and apartment disappearing and so on. I used to fix that by deleting all savedata after installing new mods. 

 

I have tested it on an install of GTA IV with Various Fixes installed and played semi-through, similarly with no issues. So you might be able to just install it and play the game without deleting your savedata.

 

So, the short answer is yes, you can install the mod and keep your savegame. But on your own risk of course :D

Im not sure many people speak Korean here....

Anyway, yes it works on all versions of the game.

edit: scratch that, maybe the .sco files are not compatible with older versions such as 1.0.4.0? but on 1.2.0.43 u should be ok.

oh sorry i wrote it in korean!, but i downloaded liberty alive and patched it but when i go into the game nothing changes but no crashes or error orcurred. (my english is bad so i don't know if english speakers will understand my english😅 and thank you for the answering in korean:) )

Yes, the scripts are not compatible with 1.0.4.0. However, 1.0.7.0, 1.0.8.0 and CE (e.g., 1.2.0.43) onwards should be ok.

Quick update - Liberty Alive V1.1:

  • New interior for the Terroil Gas Station in Algonquin
  • New props in some of the other interiors

Bug fixes:

  • Object count in the .ide's has been fixed, so objects inside the interiors spawn correctly now
  • Portals now have the right flags and the right objects connected to them

As a test, for the Terroil Gas Station I have placed the props in a new, more performance friendly way. This means that the props in this interior are not dynamic/moveable, but static instead. This improves the performance a bit. I can update the other interiors like this as well, if it is wanted.

 

Please let me know whether you guys like the dynamic props or the static props better, and I will update the mod accordingly. I hope you all like it! :)

I actually don't know. I reckon the fusion overloader is what makes FusionFix work, right? In that case, the update-folder from FusionFix has an instance of game.dat16, which the game chooses instead of the one in pc/audio/config. You can replace the one in the update-folder when using FusionFix, but then that removes the audio fixes from FusionFix. As far as I know. Please correct me if I am wrong. 🙂

Yes, this looks right for now. In later releases this will get updated with copshop_mh2_int whenever I get that finished. 🙂

awesome amazing update!! I would personally go with the static props because whenever the props are touched everything falls and FPS dip quite badly

In the latest update, there are files with an unknown extension: manhat02_stream10.opl and manhat02_stream13.opl in the manhat02.img file when you change the expansion on the .wlp game flies out when downloading. On version 1.1 there was no this file as well as problems with the game.

This mod is fantastic! Thank you so much for taking the time creating it! 😃
You managed to make it look like it was supposed to be part of the game so seamlessly.
I have a question though regarding the mod's installation...
For some reason whenever I'm playing, the moment I'm trying to cross into Bohan the game crashes.
I would like to add that I'm playing on the CE version of the game and installed the mod using fusionoverload...
In Broker the mod works perfectly well but in Bohan the game crashes.
After playing around with some of the files from the mod I managed to understand that it has something to do with the new props IDE files.
When I'm removing the code for the props in gta.dat, suddenly the game works normally, but the gas stations are missing some of the props (obviously because the code is not being directed to them 😅)
If you can help me, I'd appreciate it very much

Fixed it by deleting my old saves and starting a new game. (It didn't work starting a new game while the old saves were in place)
Apparently, my old saves were corrupting the game while the prop code was implemented.
Love the mod! it adds so much to the world! Can't wait for the next update!

But I have a problem ,the game crashes after a few minutes of playing ,the interiors are fine i think its the game.dat16 that causes the crash .

So if there is a way to edit it ourselves would be good by using @AndrewMulti's RAGE Audio Toolkit + Audio Editor.

I have GTA 4 standalone version 1.0.7.0 by the way; and thanks in advance.
