If you could change or rewrite one mission from each part of the IV timeline

While I absolutely love what Rockstar did with IV and its Pulp Fiction style connected stories, there are some continuity errors I wouldn't mind fixed or crossover missions that felt like little effort was put in.

IV

No Way on the Subway: First things first, change Jim's character model, one of the most famous mistakes in the game. Also I always found it weird how Ray and Phil

are seemingly just chilling in the restaurant when merely an hour or so ago he had a henchman killed in the basement, that and Jim saying "I'm gonna get the brothers" but going straight back to that alleyway with only one biker as backup, would make a lot more sense if Niko really had to fight first to get to Jim, and what the hell happened to the $2 million briefcase?

TLAD

Can't think of too much to do with TLAD, other than Elizabeta still giving missions to Johnny around the same time Niko is told the cops are about to make their move on her.

TBOGT

Not so Fast: I think a lot of us agree this mission had a cool concept that just feels completely disconnected from the iconic Museum shootout and was also nothing like the teaser we got in TLAD where Luis is seen on the rooftop. I'd change this mission almost entirely; have the cutscene play out as it did, but instead of climbing inside the window and conveniently ignoring Johnny who is only a few steps away, Luis climbs to the roof, shoots the skylight window, climbs down, you knock out Isaac while instructed not to kill him. Finally, Luis now must fight his way downstairs through a mix of both italian and jewish mobsters before escaping through one of the main doors (creating a triangle). The Museum being full of cops in Not so Fast when there was nothing like that in IV just reeked of laziness. Ladies Half Price was a huge letdown as well and would've benefitted at least from Tony driving the boat while the player fends off Bulgarin's men in pursuit.

Which missions from each game would you drastically change or improve if it was one for each part of the game?

I'll rewrite The Cousins Bellic so Niko doesn't receive Roman's Emails and thus he stays in his homeland to get the secret true ending :shillkek:

Sarcasm aside, I would rewrite Pest Control. That sh*t was anticlimactic as hell, and the original concept for the mission was much more interesting. They should've kept the choice to whack either Ray or Phil.

I always thought No Way on the Subway's cutscene should've been substituted with Late Checkout's cutscene and vice versa as Ray is shown to be really on edge while arguing with Isaac over the phone.

The cutscene would remain the same with Ray being really pissed off at Isaac for the diamond ordeal but instead of sending Niko to kill him, he prioritizes the bikers first. Then Late Checkout starts with No Way on the Subway's cutscene with Phil and Ray calmly discussing Isaac's case. It would've made a lot more sense in my opinion that after dealing with the body of his henchman, Ray gets an angry call from Isaac that really pisses him off hence the "Having a bad f*cking day" line.

I can't really think of what I'd change right now, but I remember This sh*t's Cursed feeling messy and maybe even unfinished in some ways. In fact, I know the intro cutscene was slightly altered as seen in this trailer where Billy puts his hand on Johnny's shoulder which doesn't happen in the final cutscene.

After the gunfight, Billy is standing in the middle of the road with bruises and his bike smoking on the ground for some reason, I don't really understand what happened to him when his plan was to have Johnny and Jim get killed by the Chinese. Why wait around the place when there's a fair chance for the police to show up? Even more so when it was his own set up to begin with, it's just weird. Then afterward, once you reach the clubhouse, a random Lost member appears out of nowhere with you, leaping for some reason. I can't help but think this mission was changed, perhaps TBoGT's cutscene during Chinese Takeout was a retcon and Billy didn't initially intend to set up Johnny and Jim.
