PukeyDumply
I don't know how I seem to be the first person to ever want a fix for it (or if I was just too incompetent to find a fix within the last 5 or so years) but I finally did it. I'm talking about how on the PS2 version (at least on PCSX2 but I think I remember it being the case on original hardware, too) the blood pools that appear around dead NPCs are ~50% transparent, making them look greyish. I simply went ahead and replaced the texture with a non-transparent version and that fixed the issue. Check the before and after to know what I'm talking about: Maybe there would have been an easier way but I just couldn't figure anything else out. Download: [Google Drive] Simply place the textures folder inside the archive into the respective location in your PCSX2 installation. Let me know if you need help or encounter any issues. I installed it on EmuDeck, where I had to follow this comment on Reddit to let PCSX2 load textures. But after that it worked fine. Sorry friend, GTA Forums doesn't seem to notify me about new comments. No clue how I missed the footprint textures but they are now fixed. I think they are designed to be slightly transparent, just not as transparent as they appear in the unfixed PCXS2 emulation. In fact, I simply used the footprint texture from the PSP version because that was easier than editing the texture file from the PS2 version. I updated the in link the main post. Simply re-download it. I appreciate you sharing the sentiment. maxim444 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/992166-lcsvcs-fixed-blood-textures-for-ps2-version-made-for-pcsx2/#findComment-1072380395 Share on other sites
