minor pet peeve of mine, there is only one trackid file that is copied into the different language rpf's in update2.rpf and that makes the language translations for the r* editor sfx and the media player text to be replaced with english only

also,

found some typos:

- "Timmy Thomas" is misspelled as "Thimmy Thomas"

- "Miserlou" is misspelled as "Miserou"

- "Guardian Angels" is misspelled as "Gaurdian Angels"

the song "Symbol Six - Beverlywood" is listed in the Channel X Rejected Soundtrack tracklist in the OP but appears to be completely missing ingame

unrelated to the mod:

the Channel X Rejected Soundtrack tracklist in the OP is missing these songs:

- The Crowd - Modern Machine
- Red Scare feat. Bobbi Brat - Streetlife
- Redd Kross - Standing In Front Of Poseur
- Spittin' Teeth - Destruction

and the entire Radio Mirror Park tracklist is missing in the OP

These songs are in mod, but the author of the mod forgot to add them to the description, I checked it with OpenIV.

And also on the Spanish wiki it is indicated that the song Symbol Six - Beverlywood is also included in the rejected soundtrack of Channel X, but it is not in the mod.

https://gta.fandom.com/es/wiki/Channel_X

I already wanted to upload the archive to Nexus Mods right now, but it seems better to wait a bit, and the site may think that the OIV file is unsafe, so I may have to contact support.

And also in the description, the song Why Can't We Live Together from The Lowdown is listed as Why Can't We Live T.

I didn't factor in the Rockstar Editor. My bad. I'll look into that later. I'll wait a bit to see if there's other problems or inconsistencies people have noticed until I bring out another update. I'll go over all of the songs in the TrackID and compare them side by side with the Wikia track lists to check for any more typos. There seems to be a worrying amount of them that have somehow escaped me. Again, sorry bout that.

Will update the OP accordingly. Thank you for bringing these things to my attention. Please report any more issues you may find.

And so, I checked the TrackID and found only one error, SebastiAn feat. Mayer Hawthorne is listed as SEBASTIAN FEAT. MAYER HAWTHRONE

And Mack 10 feat. Ice Cube & WC is listed as Mack 10 feat. The Dogg Pound [But I don't know if it's a error or not]

And Jah Jah the Conquerer is listed as Jah Jah The Conqueror [But I don't know if it's a error or not]

And We Gettin' Down is listed as We're Getting Down [But I don't know if it's a error or not]

And also two songs have a strange sound:

2 Chainz - I'm Different

The Weirdos - Solitary Confinement

I do not know if this was done intentionally or if this is the problem of these rips, and I think there are still songs with a strange sound, but for me these are the most noticeable.

And also if you want to make a second update, then don't forget to add the song Symbol Six - Beverlywood in game and it's missing in TrackID.

What strange sound? The songs sound fine to me.

Jah Jah The Conqueror is the song's correct name. The Weldon Irvine ID was written by Rockstar and left in the next-gen TrackID and so I simply just re-used it. I'll still edit it, as the song's official name indeed is We Gettin' Down.

I do not know how to explain it to you in another way, but just compare your Solitary Confinement

https://mega.nz/file/E71xwAQB#xUwYNWyl0689WiNnp9sv9Y4wuV39wYANBSMDr0f2844 with the original

https://mega.nz/file/4rEXDRTB#NwgvnvvR0vKmBgbQX9wXo8qTkXmCPZfVIAKIgbAmRWg and it seems to me that the original sounds better.

Or do you have a louder main sound, I can't understand.

Are you talking about audio clipping? It happens. In fact, it's completely inevitable if I want songs to maintain similar audio levels to that of GTA Vs retail tracks. Most of GTA Vs retail songs clip a f*ck-ton as well, it's actually really bad lol. Some retail VBR songs to me are almost unlistenable with headphones on. See also: Kids on Non-Stop-Pop and I Got Five On It on WCC

The only real solution to this is to add a distracting and garish Declipping effect to the songs, or to have their audio levels set lower, which will create inconsistencies with the volume levels of GTA Vs retail songs. Honestly, the clipping is totally negligible to me (I never notice it when playing) and FAR less egregious than many of the game's retail songs

Barring Beverlywood accidentally having been skipped, other issues so far have seemingly mostly boiled down to song name typos, nothing exactly alarming.

However, there's some other pretty big discrepancies I've now noticed that I missed previously. A LOT suddenly happened last-minute and therefore, I just didn't have the time to test out some things as thoroughly. A major update will be arriving in a few days that I think should lay this mod to rest

Great, but in what year was the song The Plugz - A Gain A Loss made? I can't find anything and no one program recognizes it.

And also can you add all the songs where only the artist is known and the name of the song is unknown, and that's 11 songs:

On Rebel Radio, this is a song by Black Lips.

On Los Santos Rock Radio, this is a song by Robert Plant.

On The Lowdown 91.1, it's a song by The Blackbyrds, and I'm 100% sure that the song could only be from these albums:

The Blackbyrds [1974]

Flying Start [1974]

City Life [1975]

The next album belongs to the 90s and The Lowdown 91.1 does not play songs from these years.

GTA SA also has a song by The Blackbyrds, from the album City Life, so you should probably only use the song from that album

On Blue Ark, it's one song by Bounty Killer, two songs by Mikey Dread, one song by Brentford All Stars, and one song by Burning Spear.

On Channel X, this is one song by D.O.A, one by Youth Brigade, one by White Pride from the 1983 album "Your Loss Is Our Gain" but to be honest, all the songs from this album seem out of place.

Spoiler

3vYj9X.png

You can search for yourself which songs from these artists are best suited to the game, but a song by The Blackbyrds can only be taken from their three albums, and a song by White Pride can also only be taken from the album Your Loss Is Our Gain.

1979.

I've already picked out some tracks for the next update. They will (like the other unconfirmed tracks) be optionally removable.

I'm 101% certain the D.O.A and Youth Brigade songs are just the tracks that were added to next-gen. If you look at the NG track list, it's all only comprised of songs cut from the last-gen release and nothing new. The Robert Plant one might've just been Big Log.

The White Pride song very likely was There Goes The Neighborhood, as it has been covered by Body Count (a group Keith Morris is a fan of). But honestly, I don't really care to add an unconfirmed track where 90% of its lyrical content is composed of ethnic slurs

I agree with you with D.O.A, but I'm not sure about Robert Plant, and I'm also 100% sure that intro for beta songs on the PS3 devkit were displayed as their hashes, and most likely CarsonGT didn't even try to use the hash generator that is present in OpenIV, that is, so we could what are these unknown songs, for example the intro to the song Loud by Mac Maller (But it could be any other song) would be displayed as 0x0AEEDBD1

Whatever, it is what it is. I'm not convinced of another Robert Plant song having been cut, there's no solid proof that corroborates that so I'll leave that alone as I will D.O.A and Youth Brigade.

I'm also not adding another random Mikey Dread song, there's no concrete evidence of there having been more than one Dread track, it very well could have just been another variation of the Dread At The Controls intro. Only sticking to artists that haven't made it in.

And also can you add songs to Non-Stop-Pop FM from the Spanish wiki? I know that these are actually fake, but you can make them as an optional option, and add them to the new dlc_radio_02_pop_extra folder.

And also these songs give a good atmosphere of Non-Stop-Pop FM:

Kylie Minogue - 2 Hearts (2007)

Kylie Minogue - Can't Get You Out of My Head (2001)

Jermaine Stewart - We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off (1986)

No Mercy - Missing (1996)

Crowded House - Distant sun (1993)

Michael Jackson - Dangerous (1991)

The Blow Monkeys Ft. Sylvia Tella - Slaves No More (1989)

Beyonce Ft. Jay-Z - Deja Vu (2006)

Will.I.Am Ft. Britney Spears - Scream And Shout (2012)

Spiller Ft. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Groovejet (If This Ain't Love) (2000)

Daft Punk And Pharrell Williams - Get Lucky (2013)

The Blackout All-Stars - I Like (It Like That) (1994)

Toni Braxton - You're Makin' Me High (1994)

ABBA - Mamma Mia (1975)

A7xq5q.png

[Canciones eliminadas = Deleted songs]

And you can also do intros for some songs.

And I won't be requesting new features anymore.

Hi, I'm wondering are these cut songs that you forgot to add in Radio Los Santos or not? Love Sosa is in the mod, but there are no these songs:

Stevie Stone - Dollar General (2012)

The Game - Angel (2008)

Big K.R.I.T. - Pull Up (2012)

Op3Ten.png

Upper echelon was added to Next Gen, I found it in the comments of this video

Those are fake. I only added Love Sosa because Keef himself claimed it was going to be in, and two of Keef's songs have been added to V ever since, hence why I gave it a pass.

I would like to ask that people stop requesting songs in this thread. Anything else rumored to be cut that's not a part of this or the main Wikia's track lists (which barring the station placements of certain songs being incorrect, I can corroborate are nearly flawless otherwise) are completely fake.

On the wiki, all the cut songs on all radio stations are correctly located, unlike you, for example, you have a song Ain't Nobody on Space 103.2, but it was confirmed that it should have been on Los Santos Rock Radio because an intro to this song was found on the PS3 devkit, so it wasn't on Space 103.2 at 100%, but on Los Santos Rock Radio some songs like Everybody Wants To Rule the World remain in question, but I don't mind Serious being on Los Santos Rock Radio.

Okay, let's forget about it already.

Okay, let's forget about it already.

For this mod, some songs were moved as they work better on other stations and mirror the direction the final radio stations. Nobody wants to hear Olivia Newton-John's Physical on LSRR. The purpose of this mod wasn't to replicate the idiosyncratic and muddled direction of the game's pre-release stations. The point was to restore the cut music and make their placements sensical within the context of the retail game. I'm 100 percent certain Ain't Nobody would've been moved to Space in a similar vein to Party All The Time (if kept), as they both are 80s boogie & synth funk tracks.

And for example, the Duncan Sheik and Faith No More tracks were added to the ID database alongside LSRR songs. FNM in particular was added to the TrackID some 80 songs before any of the P.M.R songs were added (which all were added in a single batch from IDs 1118-1123). Safe to say, the Wikia is far from accurate in that aspect.

Anyway, I'm not planning on delving into this subject further. I've made my point (and several times by now).

Imflyin2023

Will there be more intros for songs added in the next update? It's just that on PS3 devkit, the presenters mention these songs, but you don't have them, or there are no intros at all. And these are the songsЖ

Spoiler

Radio Los Santos:

2 Chainz - I'm Different [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

2 Chainz feat. Drake - No Lie [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

Clams Casino - Cold War [You don't have any intro]

WC feat. Young Maylay & Ice Cube - You Know Me [You don't have any intro]

E-40 feat. Slim Thug & Bun B - That Candy Paint [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song, and also the host just mentions E-40 and that's it]

Jay Rock - Boomerang [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

Juicy J feat. Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz - Bandz a Make Her Dance [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

Kanye West feat. Big Sean, Pusha T & 2 Chainz - Mercy [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

Machine Gun Kelly feat. Waka Flocka Flame - Wild Boy [You don't have any intro]

Miguel - Adorn [You don't have any intro]

Wiz Khalifa feat. Lola Monroe & Amber Rose - Initiation [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

Wiz Khalifa - Work Hard, Play Hard [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

Young Jeezy feat. Freddie Gibbs - Rough [Make an intro in which the host mentions Young Jeezy feat. Freddie Gibbs]

Mac Miller - Loud [Make an intro in which the host mentions Mac Miller]

Space 103.2:

There are no intros here at all where the host mentions songs on the PS3 Devkit, but you don't have to do an intro for Ain't Nobody since it was found on Los Santos Rock Radio.
Rufus and Chaka Khan - Ain't Nobody
Cameo - She's Strange
Eugene Wilde - Gotta Get You Home Tonight
The S.O.S Band - For Your Love [Make an intro in which the host mentions The S.O.S Band]
Fatback Band - I Found Lovin'
Funkadelic - One Nation Under A Groove
George Benson - Give Me The Night
Joe Tex - Loose Caboose
Loose Ends - Slow Down
Randy Crawford - You Might Need Somebody
The Whispers - Rock Steady
Young and Company - I Like What You're Doing To Me

West Coast Classics:

Digital Underground - Same Song [You don't have any intro]

MC Ren - Ruthless For Life [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

The D.O.C featuring N.W.A - Grand Finalé [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

Ice Cube - Wicked [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

Dr. Dre - Let Me Ride [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

Too $hort - Money In The Ghetto [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

Thug Life - Pour Out A Little Liquor [Make an intro in which the host mentions Thug Life]

MC Breed ft. 2Pac -  Gotta Get Mine [Make an intro in which the host mentions MC Breed ft. 2Pac, but there is a problem here, on PS3 Devkit the host just mentions MC Breed but you added a song featuring 2Pac]

Rebel Radio:

Jon Wayne - Mr. Egyptian [You don't have any intro]

GG Allin – Son Of Evil [You don't have any intro]

Dick Stubbs - Wired For Sound [You don't have any intro + Make an intro in which the host mentions Dick Stubbs]

Marvin Jackson - Dippin' Snuff [You don't have any intro, was added to Next Gen but no intro was created]

And in the next update, you will most likely add a song by Black Lips, and make sure that the host mentions Black Lips.

Los Santos Rock Radio:

Alanis Morissette - You Oughta Know [It is indicated that it may have been move to P.M.R, but you don't have an intro on LS Rock Radio, and also the intros for these songs may be like this:

You oughta know, on Los Santos Rock Radio.

From the Jagged Little Pill album, this is Alanis Morissette, this is confirmed here https://gtaforums.com/topic/678397-the-gta-v-beta-hunt/page/244/#comment-1070099238]

Eric Clapton - Cocaine [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

Huey Lewis and the News - Hip to Be Square [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

Robin Trower - I'm Out to Get You [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

The Cranberries - Linger [I can't figure out if the host mentions the Linger song]

The Lowdown 91.1:

Everything is the same as with Space 103.2.

Jigsaw - Sky High
Little Anthony - Tears on My Pillow
Loleatta Holloway - Runaway
The Brothers Johnson - Strawberry Letter #23
The Detroit Emeralds - Baby Let Me Take You (In My Arms)
The Shirelles - Dedicated to the One I Love
The Temptations - Cloud Nine
Timmy Thomas - Why Can't We Live Together

The Temptations - Psychedelic Shack

And also in the next update, you will most likely add a song by The Blackbyrds, and add an intro where the host mentions The Blackbyrds.

The Blue Ark:

Everything is the same as with Space 103.2 and The Lowdown 91.1:

Mikey Dread - Dread At the Controls
Tony Tribe - Red Red Wine [But you don't need to add an intro where the host mentions Tony Tribe]

The Upsetters feat. Curtis Mayfield  - Closer Together [But you don't need to do an intro where the host mentions the song]

And in the next update you will most likely add songs by Bounty Killer and Brentford All Stars and Burning Spear, and don't forget to add intos where the presenter mentions these artists.

Channel X:

Agent Orange - Bloodstains [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

The Dickies - Give It Back [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

Screamers - Vertigo [Make an intro where the host mentions the name of the song]

And also in the next update you will most likely add a song by White Pride and make an intro where the presenter mentions the album Your Loss Is Our Gain or something like that.

I know that intros are not very necessary and it will be may difficult to make intros for about 60 songs and for them to make sense.

Two questions

1. Will Radio Los Santos and West Coast Classic’s The Contract Update will ever be put in story mode?

2. Is [V] Airwaves compatible with all the other Radio mods? That includes

Vice City FM

Classic GTA Radio Pack

P.M.R

1. You can already use those in story mode with a trainer or some other script you can find on GTA5-Mods. It is outside the scope of this mod Im sure since the intent is bringing back songs from the game's pre-release period, not contemporary stations

2. Yes, the author has made provisions for compatibility with whatever add-on station you want to use. There are instructions in the download.

Slight correction to what I said earlier: by default V Airwaves will replace the game's original tracklist text, so actually you dont need to do anything apart from installing it to make sure that addon stations work. I dont know why you're seeing no text, maybe some other station you installed also replaced the same file?

For the Online stations: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/simple-trainer-for-gtav

It will enable all the online stations in SP + you can toggle between the original and new playlists for WCC and RLS through its configuration file or ingame menu

Will there be more intros for songs added in the next update? It's just that on PS3 devkit, the presenters mention these songs, but you don't have them, or there are no intros at all. And these are the songsЖ

  Reveal hidden contents

I made a deliberate effort not to use any material from the devkit. For quite obvious reasons. And yes, implementing intros and testing them is a hassle (I honestly am impressed I even have so many to begin with) - but the main reason why me and MG didn't do intros for the other hosts is because we couldn't get convincing models of a lot them. MG said he might look into that in the future

Try setting the order value in setup2.xml higher. Someone else set it to 999 and said it worked for them. Only I was personally warned that a very high order value could break other things, hence I kept it to 127. The mod is compatible with any and all radio add-on mods, unless you use the DLC TrackID optional (which you honestly shouldn't even use unless Rockstar has added a new station)

Thanks for the answer, I just wanted it to be minimally similar to the original.

And I also noticed that on Vinewood Boulevard Radio you did not make new intros, but you can easily reuse the intro for the song Wavves - Nine Is God for Wavves - Dog.

File x64\audio\sfx\RADIO_18_90S_ROCK.rpf\intro.awc\NINE_IS_GOD_01 (You most likely accidentally missed it)

And I also noticed that on The Lowdown 91.1, the song We Gettin' Down in your files is called we_gettin_down, but the intros for these song are called WERE_GETTIN_DOWN, but it probably doesn't matter.

If you see these files in OpenIV in the form of their hashes [By default, this will happen anyway] then you just need to replace the file AudioTracks.txt in Documents\OpenIV\GTA V\Strings and also after that all audio files with music will use two channels instead of one https://mega.nz/file/J2kiFTJQ#zeTXpjnufOAHCil-RftisySAcqZ11rwMribG2TJQ4YM

That does matter actually. Sharp eye. Guess I could re-use the Wavves intro yeh. All coming in the next update, hope to release it before next week

does this include GTA Online songs into single player as well? Or only the cut tracks?

(sidenote: this may or may not be your mod, but it only happened to me after downloading... Whenever I try to do a mission, it says it's been disrupted. Just wondering if you've seen anyone else with this issue, or experienced it yourself?)

Finally a mod that will actually get me to turn the radio back on in GTA V!

If you ever plan on going back in and adding or changing DJ audio, I'd have them name drop the station going into songs. I'm a radio DJ in real life and we're required to always push the name to keep it in peoples heads.

Aside from that, you totally nailed the announcers' personalities with how they intro music! This is a great mod and I'm seriously impressed with how much work you've put in.

I'm not sure about this, because not all the songs are good, and it's also very strange to listen to such songs in Los Santos as:

7 Seconds - 99 Red Balloons

Frenzal Rhomb - You Are Not My Friend

Screamers - Vertigo [The song has a very low sound quality]

The Meters - Cissy Strut

Little Anthony - Tears on My Pillow

The Shirelles - Dedicated to the One I Love

Timmy Thomas - Why Can't We Live Together

Ice Cube - Wicked

And also half of the restored songs on Radio Los Santos just doesn't fit with the existing songs from the main game, I have a feeling the radio stations in the beta might have had a completely different tracklist, and the songs found on the PS3 Devkit may be they are, I'm certainly not sure about Rebel Radio and The Blue Ark and West Coast Classics but all the other stations probably had a completely different tracklist. And the songs found in TrackID may have been meant to be included in the game, but they may have been removed at the last minute.

So it all depends on your taste, i know it's possible it just seems to me.
