I never understood it too. This is the game where the first words you hear are "Daddy's back, you bitches!" as a man is getting whipped by an Asian chick lol. It has its fair share of serious moments but it's not as depressing and dark as some make it out to be. It contains as much humor and satire as the rest of the series.

1. The mission in IV where you shoot up a sprunk warehouse for Manny and at the end Niko says to the cameraman-

 

"I can put my foot through your face. I don't mind doing that again and again until I get it right."

 

First time I saw that in 2008, I laughed til I couldn't breathe anymore.

 

2. Boulevard Baby in The Ballad of Gay Tony. Ooooh yeah.

 

3. The Wrap Up. Very intense.

 

4. Niko confronting Darko

 

5. And Niko finding out that Michelle was an Agent.

The opening cutscene of Was It Worth It in TLAD.

 

I honestly liked it more than the Darko scene in IV because of the level of tension involved.

The ending cutscene from "Uncle Vlad", when Niko disposes of the first antagonist in spectacular fashion and pours his heart out about his past/goals.

probably the one where tommy slams a door and wakes up rosenberg. makes me laugh so much.

i love how grand theft auto 3 has very good cutscenes, they put tons of care into those older gta games, they all just look very good. i especially love the donald love sequences because i always had the feeling of oh man , this is going to be a good mission....and they were.. i liked vice city stories where phil cassidy says IM COMING HOOOOME DADDY!!!! i said that quote a lot years ago lol lol ;))
