Your favourite GTA cutscene

Imo the best cutscene is in GTA IV where Niko talks with Faustins wife about his experience in the war.

The acting, slightly awkward courtesy on Niko's side slowly turning into a serious conversation about morality and the wife talking about her marriage and how emotional Niko seemed, all of it ending with Faustin abusing his wife felt so real.

A close second is when Niko confronts Darko Brevic. When Niko is shocked that Darko killed all friends for money and asks him "you sold out your friends for a thousand dollars?" And Darko asks him "Well how much do you charge to kill people?" Clearly pointing out the hypocrisy was great.

The one in TLAD where we see Stubbs’ penis :shillkek:

GTA Vice City's ending scene at the Mansion, you know which one, after the fight.
GTA IV had many memorable ones. "This IS my town" from playboy, and Niko meeting ULP first time was funny, with the tennis coach stuff:adminkek:

Big Smoke's order.

One of the funniest parts about that cutscene was when Ryder and CJ turn back and look at him in disbelief :prismkek:

That one along with most of Ryder's cutscenes, like the "CJ? Tell me why I didn't finish highschool?" Cutscene, that was really funny.

For the topic, I like most of tbogt cutscenes, if I was to pick the funniest it would be Luis getting Brucie to punch Mori, the coolest cutscene award goes to the introduction cutscene for sure.

GTAV's acting in cutscenes is phenomenal, I can easily pick any of them as my all time favorite, but I think The Wrap Up's initial cutscene is thw coolest of the bunch.

When Johnny triumpfally comes back to the lost clubhouse only to find out that Jim is dead and he supposedly care more about backstabbing billy than blood thirsty Boccino, and finally deal with Ashley, it's actually very important and heartbreaking scene, second is propably Roman's death, and third Trevor screaming at ghetto feminists.

Too many to mention, but for the sake of the topic just these two.

-Tommy confronting Kent Paul at The Malibu Club for the first time and shoving him on his arse off the stool always makes lol.

-Niko confronting Darko. Considering this is the only time we ever actually see Darko in the entire game they made damn well sure it was going to leave an impression. Brilliant stuff.

Can't go pass Big Smoke's order in GTA: San Andreas. Absolute classic. Also, quite enjoy the ending to the mission "End of the Line"... "See you around...officer!"

I don't mind the ending to GTAV, the last bit after they push Devin Weston's car off the cliff... "I'll tell you one thing, T. I'm getting too old for this nonsense."

I know, I know it's over the top but I really do like the confrontation between Michael, the FIB, the IAA, SWAT, ULP, and whoever else in GTA V.

This is also probably the one of the only things I think GTA III actually does almost consistently the best in the entirety of Grand Theft Auto. Every cutseen is balla

The Wrap Up cutscene, yeah that's a cool one.

There are quite a few cutscenes that I like, I don't really have a single favorite.

Three Leaf Clover's second cutscene during the robbery is one I really like. I like Packie and Derrick arguing leading to Saint f*cking Michael's death, Luis making his first appearance and of course the shootout that ensues all make for a really cool cutscene.

Vice City's ending cutscene is also great, especially with the music playing in the background, there's something magical about that ending that always hits whenever I finish the game.

The Wrap Up standoff is a fun one because of how things keep escalating.

Caught with your Pants Down is also one I enjoy because of Yusuf's wacky shenanigans and his father rightfully scolding him.

The first Cutscene that came to mind was the crime and punishment basement scene in IV. What a well written, acted and animated scene. Top tier.

I love how the contrast in how Niko handles being tortured to how Roman handles it. It reminds me of the quote from the show Burn notice.

"If you drop two glass bottles at the same time, one will crumble into nothing, and the other will forge into a sharp edged weapon."

This perfectly describes the difference between Niko and Roman. And no better is that difference displayed then in this particular Cutscene.

Out of the Closet in IV. Roman's trollish laugh at the end of the cutscene gets me every time!

Moments like this are why I never (entirely) bought all of the "GTA IV is too dark/bleak/depressing" complaints. Is it more grounded? Sure. Less wacky than the 3D Era, TBoGT and V? Absolutely, and I understand that it isn't going to be everyone's thing. But there's still plenty of humor throughout the game, both inside and outside of the story.
