Hi, love the mod, couldn't play IV without it.
Just an issue I discovered throughout mission play: NPCs sometimes tend to stuck in place, no reaction, no health bar, simply won't move. (However, reloading the save seems to solve this issue)
Also, in the mission "Babysitting", this bug makes it unplayable because Derrick keeps falling off the boat when shooting, retry 3 times, no luck, remove this mod seems to solve the issue.
If you have the time, please take a look at this, the previous version doesnt have this issue.

Hi, does this happen on missions and are you using the latest release of the mod? I seem to be having the same thing..

I've discovered a little bug with the personal car mod, but I'm not ruling out that i've done something wrong either. Essentially, the tracked vehicle is just ending up all over the map. Like I'm super early in the game, and I log onto the game and my car is in algonquin lol. Could it be that my libertytweaks SAVE file is in the wrong place? I have in in the IVSDK folder, should it be in the main directory? Another strange thing i've noticed is duplicates of the saved vehicle appearing in the same spot it was parked. When this occurs, the saved car will be pushed to the side by the duplicate.

 

Edit: I just played around with saving and loading, and the car will appear randomly throughout the map. It was previously in Algonquin and now its in downtown Broker.

It may be because of the Peds Lock Doors feature I implemented a few days ago. That's all I can think of. Could you disable it in the .ini and see if it still causes the issue? I don't have the time to test it currently. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'm gonna remove that feature for the time being as it has some other issues too (e.g when peds exit their cars and try to enter it, they break their windows lol)

That is pretty odd, it may be because of the mission teleporting thing. I basically look for the nearest parked car & replace it with the personal vehicle. It needs a lot more testing, as some issues such as the car deleting - or in your case- it is teleporting, are very inconsistent. 

As for the duplication thing, I added a specific fix in the code which should delete any vehicle it's in collision with upon spawning. But it checks within a 5m radius so maybe I'll bump it up a little to see if it fixes anything.

When was the last time you downloaded the mod? The hotfix from 3 days ago has a bit more fixes for the personal vehicles feature too.

Anybody else experiencing broken hangout activities like bowling and pool? And sometimes your friends just stand there and wont get in your car? Along with some of the toll barriers being rock solid and non-destructible? + some npcs standing around and unable to be rammed since they're rock solid as well?

+ jacob's stash missions the drug vehicle is either frozen or floating, but either way the door doesnt open when you enter and you just clip through the door when getting inside?

Also, I found that autosave after mission would likely to crash the game if personal vehicle function is enabled, since the IVSDK.net's console pops up the error saying something wrong with the personal vehicle functions in the codes. Hope that makes sense. 

Again, combine with the bugs above, there are not entirely unplayable and game-breaking issues, so take your time and no pressure in fixing that! :))

By the way guys, if you want a bit of ped variety on the cops, I recommend replacing the m_y_cop files in the armoredcops.img disk with the m_y_cop files in Custo's New Cops and State Troopers mod. You get some short-sleeved cops along with some sergeant ranked cops for the long-sleeved uniforms and jackets. Plus, the armored body seems to be the same as GQComms's but now with an additional sargeant rank skin! Just don't forget to change some lines in the pedvariations file with the new lines mentioned in the 'readme' text.

 

(and yes, the armor trait of the cops still remain with the mod installed!)

Hello,

I need a bit of help. I've installed IV-SDK v1.3 and the latest ClonksCoding script for liberty tweaks 1.5. However, for some reason, the liberty tweaks script does not want run. I am still able to open and run my game with all the map mods and scripthookdotnet scripts I have installed. Any bit of help would be greatly appreciated. This mod is too good to pass on.

I dont think you're supposed to run IVSDK with ScriptHook. I tried running LibertyTweaks with LCPDFR which relies on ScriptHook and it kept asking me to delete the ScriptHook asi file. When I deleted it and placed the LCPDFRloader dll file in the scripts folder of IVSDK liberty tweaks worked but not LCPDFR.

Ah, so then it is either one or the other :(

I really wish that I can pair this mod with my vb and scripthook mods. I can't really ditch them. I tried running the scripthook mods with IV-SDK, but it just crashes my game unfortunately.

Actually it can run some scripthook mods just fine. I'm using DeathMusic IV myself which is a scripthook mod. There's a list of scripthook mods which fully or partially work with IV SDK. Check here https://github.com/ClonkAndre/ScriptHookDotNet-for-IVSDKDotNet/issues/4

The thing we need to know, are the default / vanilla values for the AI accuracy and fire rate. Without that, we can't customize the values, we need the original values as a reference.

For a correct tweaking of the values (wich is totally subjectif and a individual opinion).

Example: I only want to tweak a little bit the values, making the AI have only an increase of 10 % of his accuracy, or by the contrary, i want to reduce his accuracy by a half, or only a 10 %, etc.

Not a critic about your work, but a suggestion, or simply, my opinion.

I have suggestions for new features in this mod:

1) Remove camera auto centering, which is presented in the game as part of a poor PC port (this feature should work only when using a controller)

2) Do not show the crosshair when performing a driveby because shooting & driving using mouse & keyboard is too overpowered in this game (as an alternative, increase recoil & spread when drivebying)

3) Remove pickup glow for weapons & money (because they start to glow right when an NPC dies, and it illuminates the body immediately which looks bad and ruins the immersion)

Which part of the IVSDK folder did you put the DeathMusicIV files in? I placed the Arrest Warrant and the WantedMusicIV mods in the scripts folder, only for nothing to happen.

1. i do not know how to do that, but if i ever learn of a way, sure

2. i don't know how to hide the crosshair yet. i definitely need to learn how as I want it to be hidden when the HUD is off. but i've had some ideas on how to overhaul the spread in this game, and that's planned to be one of the features.

3. i've wanted that for awhile, i know pickups 2.0 messes with glow so maybe i can look into how that mod does it

i think the default is 40 for peds, and like 50-60 for cops. it differs a lot in vanilla afaik. 

disable improved ai then use zmenu's wallhack feature to see default ped accuracy & firerates.

a weird bug i've noticed tho is that even with improved ai enabled, zmenu will say the default values despite them being different. so maybe zmenu only checks when a ped first spawns

i should add comments for default rates

With the recent 1.6 ClonkCoding and 1.4 IV-SDK update, it now manages to run my scripthook mods and .vb files when I don't let SDK load them. I do have some big scripthook mods such as Tank V Style , Jet V Style, Mini-Gun V Style, Improved Wanted Level and the Area Livery Mod installed on my game. So far, this mod is an improvement to my gameplay!

How to not let SDK load them? Is it in the configuration file?
