Can you make the Liberty Tweaks's reloading compatible with this mod?

 The thing is that the reloading has some sort of trouble like all the weapons do the real reload where the mag falls and ammo in mag are also gone but fails to do the normal reload, also this mod has a different reloading animation for the m4 and it just doesn't reload realistically and only reloads normally, where the you have the mag. Please fix this, other than that I love your mod, Respect.

So I finally got this amazing mod to work but the only problem is, it’s not letting me load any previously saved games. It’s only letting me re-load the default game after the intro. Meaning I can’t have any separate save files. And it has to be this mod because when I play it from my normal downgraded version without Tweaks all saves load easily. Maybe something needs to be updated within the mod? I hope internet Rob comes back to help me with this because it’s easily my favorite mod but of course crashes the game.

It keeps denying permission to run Liberty Tweaks. Says GTA 4 doesn’t access permission to use. I tried enabling everything in the files  to enable access for all users but that won’t work.

says possible solution is making sure the directory is not within a files folder, which it’s not. Very confused because when I delete the mod it starts up and loads with no issues.

 

edit: the game loads up fine when I run as administrator but it won’t let me launch it through steam! Can someone please help because this is the only way I can use my ps5 controller and still play this mod. Still same error message about permissions

im currently using both Hardcore mode and liberty tweaks, and is there a way to decrease the timing of healing (to make it slow)

Also could you be able to make Liberty tweaks compatible with hardcore mode (ie; healing stops when you're low on hunger/thirst/sleep)

Hi, thanks for creating this beautiful work. What else do you have in mind for future updates?

 

In case you're interested in suggestions, here are a few:

-Blindfire Disable HUD improvement: Remove the crosshair even when in cover, only having it appear when the aim button is pressed.
-Option to remove the health indicators in the crosshair.

-New running option: Sprint when the button is held down and toggle between jogging or walking when the button is pressed once.
-Ammunition cannot be shared between the same category of weapons, only between those of the same caliber (not shared between AK and M4, or between Glock and Desert Eagle, etc.).
-Be able to pick up weapons by pressing the action button and be able to configure the number of weapons we can have based on their categories (e.g., only being able to have handguns, shotguns, and assault rifles...if I want to pick up a sniper rifle, it will replace my assault rifle slot). All of this is like in the old PickUps 2.0 mod.
-If this is too complicated, you could opt for a weapon weight system so you can discard them from your inventory like in the Weapon Weight mod. The heavier the weapon, the slower the player moves...but it could be improved with increased stamina drain, making it impossible to run or even jog.
-Purchase vehicles from the WestDyke Autos, Auto Eroticar, Grotti, and Big Paulie Budget Cars.
Only vehicles purchased from dealerships can access the tracker service.

-Enter the subway car manually. I think this can be done by removing the invisible wall at the subway doors and, once inside the car, removing the ragdoll system, allowing the player to move freely inside.

I'm starting to think the armored cops mess with the security guards. I installed Potential Grim and NPC fixes which is supposed to fix the security guards not being classified as police, and when the armored cops are enabled in the INI file they never get marked as cops in-game and they soon get gunned down by police when then try to take me down. But when I disable the armored cops the security guards work alongside the police.

 

Also I'm still waiting for the EFLC cops to have individual armored cop files to load. It's kind of annoying that I have to swap the armored cop files whenever I switch from IV to TLAD.

I haven't even gotten around to using that dope ass mod yet. I'm just working on a lotta stuff for 1.7 atm.

I'm thinking for mod compatibility, I will do that for 2.0, which I aim to be the final release for this project. 2.0 will basically be a fix/improve update only, ensuring compatibility for a lot of different mods. I'm sure this is a bit of a bummer, but I'm pretty much the only one working on this rn and I would rather focus on building the project, then finalizing it later on

 

either way i've had other reports with incompatibilities, so i hear you. i'll try to do a little bandaid ting before 2.0 tho

someone on github had a similar issue, maybe you're the same person, maybe not. i explained it here 

tl:dr make an anti-virus exclusion in your directory & do not install your games into system folders. everything LT does is local, so it's relative to your directory's location

Great Mod, BTW, can you make indicators usable by the player, also a weaponlocker thing in Hardcore Mode as an optional feature, also can you fix the baretta shotgun blindfire and the player racks after each shot but it is supposed to shoot without racking, there is a mod WeapFuncIV but it just kinda affects performance a lot at least in my system.

How to use tracker services? Everytime I drive into the tracker location it says “Press NONE to add tracker services to your car for $8000” or something along those lines. Is there a way to fix this? Which button is supposed to be pressed in order to get the tracker feature to work?

 

I’m using PS5 controller but my keyboard functions simultaneously. I’ve seen some of Cats videos where it’s F9 to track but he replied to my comment saying it’s E to track. There’s no way I can personally tap into the keyboard function to enable the button to work because it doesn’t seem to work for either buttons. 🤔 gonna keep experimenting though.

 

edit: figured it out. Just press E on the keyboard lol

with Always Spring toggled to ON,

outdoors it works as normal

but indoors it requires me to hold shift to sprint

 

can you make it so that it's always functioning with toggling and not only by holding when indoors

 

anybody else get this problem?

That would be great.

It is planned, I'm still working on the wardrobe for now though. Then, probably going to rework the personal vehicles script as it's far too buggy atm.

@EdEdEdEd has actually given me a stellar foundation for the addon weapon script, so it shouldn't take too long either, when i get to it

A mod for added weapons would be great, but maybe it will need other mod to don't discard weapons when they are empty, cause we should buy thoose weapons over and over again.

It was just bad. I do plan to rework it though. 

Not only was the programming side of it bad - even by my standards - it was just executed wrong and didn't really fit GTA imo

I will most likely implement something like this into Hardcore More... but I dunno, both are great ideas btw
