What a disgrace. You boomers removed the car THATS ON THE COVER OF THE GAME. What’re you doing? What does less used mean to you? And since when do you guys remove content? Let’s not even get started with the thruster. That’s absolutely useless but sure is a good 1.1m money grab when you see what the sparrow can do inside the kosatka. Nope absolutely useless. No weapons no nothing.

Here’s an idea!! You wanna streamline the browsing experience?? Well how about you do that!!! Instead of taking away cars you have to be joking. How lazy are you people? You could hire a $10 an hour guy on fiverr to redo the internet in gta online better than you clowns at R*

I think it would have made a lot more sense and been a lot better if they added some of the DLC cars to the traffic, nothing extreme like the F1 cars but the cars that are lower end and more normal, stuff like the hipster dlc cars and beach bum cars should have also been made steal able and storeable.

filter by vehicle class.

luxury = coupe, supers, muscle

sports (replacing 2 door tag) = sports, sports classic

family (replacing 4 door tag) = suvs, sedans, compacts

offroad would include things that are storeable like the guardian, etc. while special would be service vehicles, vans, and utility, etc.

(because theres only so much space for tags)

still makes more sense than 2 door cars being in 4 doors and the bobcat being luxury

1. This is abhorrent, clearly further implementation of fomo tactics and likely a way to make room for 8th gen.

2. To all those who used to reply to us “do you really need more gARaGe SpACe???”, this is why. I own nearly every vehicle in the game between 4 characters, thank god.

also, the cars are not removed from the site in terms of url, they're just hidden.

they're still numbering the new cars as if the old cars still exist so 'unofficial' methods would make them show and the transaction data is still valid

So it's just the same process that we used to do to buy a Cargobob back in the PS3/X360 days?

Good, at least I can still buy myself a Warrener if I have enough room for it in the future.

I mean, the web interface doesn't let you put in the slash you need. BUT considering that customer cars and stuff do work. the catalog is clearly still there (it wouldn't make sense to remove/change that), and even car you couldn't normally buy like the speedo and such do have a valid price when placed in a dealership without extra tunables...

I haven't dived into it, but it's not like the web assets have been REMOVED or reallocated. It's still car260+ on ssasa.

the website is just an organised way to purchase vehicles, but you could trigger the purchase transaction anywhere, it doesn't have to be the site (autoshop, etc.)

(the warrener shows up in the autoshop too)

Seriously tho, if R* let all platform be able to buy cars from players, not put overpowered or nice looking cars behind paywalls, and have website and locations dedicated for a rotating selection of rare cars, it is actually fine. It’s more realistic and makes people who love certain cars feel special buying and owning them.

Hopefully if R* is to implement anything like this into GTA 6, it’s more like that not pay-to-pay-more.

Feel free to make a Car Meet Buyers thread in that section, in the same way there is even a subreddit dedicated to it. Surprised nobody's done that considering the Gen9 feature that's existed for a while now. :p

There are cars in that list I actually won and bought and have no idea why they would be on a "Not used very much list". The Coil Raiden? Super Diamond? Zorruso? One of the things I like doing is trying out underrated cars many don't talk about about just to drive something different for fun especially when you get to the point you have more money than you can spend and go into experiment/discovery mode. So what many players don't drive some cars for whatever reason. What may be wack to one player is a gem to another. This is one of the major sandbox play aspects of this game that someone thought was a good idea to take away. Now we have less cars in a website that's still awkward to navigate.

Wouldn't it make sense to just open up another online car dealership for all these apparently unloved vehicles? San Andreas Slightly Less Super Autos? The clue is in the name of the game guys: Grand Theft AUTO. People want cars ya idiots.

Coil Raiden

the brawler is one of the only cars without headlight textures (possible the only one) and that makes the headlights ULTRA useful

I didn't find out until I won the thing at LSCM despite me owning one in SP

Vaulting the cars would be excusable for some sort of remastering of them, that should have been a thing with E&E, but this is a pure FOMO cash grab.

Great month for gaming in General:

Payday 2: received an update that made it available on Epic, in the same update they dropped Linux and VR support, now all matchmaking is handled by Epic spyware, so even if you are on Steam your connection is handled by an Epic executable, and finding matches is almost impossible with the whole system broken, remember that this is the company that scans your friend list, browser cookies and system dlls and send the data to China.

It's confirmed that Payday 3 will have microtransactions.

Warthunder: is being review bombed because they made an update where if you don't pay a premium, on high tier matches, all earned credits go to fix your ships/aircrafts, so basically they removed all progressions unless you pay premium, it's almost impossible to acquire new vehicles.

With gaming in late stage capitalism, mega corporations will make sure to squeeze every penny you make, with this being true to every aspect of our life, if you work for them, they make sure to also squeeze every penny out of you, paying as low as they can, and you fight back with your VOTE, decisions and WALLET. To every person that have GTA+, congratulations, you are part of the problem, send a big message canceling your subscription after this update.

They should have made it possible to steal models like Super Diamond and Feltzer and make them their own if they were going to make this update.

We are a vicious gang with weapons more powerful than an army and willing to raid drug lords' islands, rob casinos, and even commit mass murder.
We have taken weapons and vehicles from PMCs, the military, and the police, gangs if necessary to accomplish our goals.

However, cars over $100,000 are too expensive and we will not steal them and make them our own. We choose to pay for it and acquire it legally.
So what if we can't afford that car? ...we wait quietly. Do not commit the insane act of theft.

GTAO is a game full of many ironies, but this is the funniest in a way.

Whoever had this idea should be fired and should never work in a gaming company again until the person has a brain implant or something.

This just ruins the immersion and playability of the game as a whole.

It was never about streaminling/cleaning the website to begin with. Its just a lie. Theres no point suggesting how they could have done because again it was never the intent behind removing the cars.

Its just a shark card/gta+ push disguised as a QOL update.

Always wondered if r* would pull something like this- removing older cars and running them through the casino spinner, But didn't think they would have the audacity to do that, let alone hide it behind a full on paywall, But they did it!

inb4 they make gtao a full on exclusive paid subscription thing.

Or have them actively spawn with NPC's driving them, aren't we tired of the same old NPC vehicles?

nolongeractive

I’ve read they’re going to remove another 200 next week. The good news is that all 400 will return in December, in the biggest DLC ever with 400 new old vehicles. The bad news is, you have to buy all 400 new old vehicles in 5 minutes, if you are a member of GTA+ you have 6 minutes to buy them all.
