Wait, that just hit me: so you can't get the Comet Retro now? So the *only* classic Porsche that exists in the game is no longer obtainable?

Jesus f*ck, Rockstar... What are you doing...

Oh don't worry, I'm sure that now the doors of Los Santos Customs or Benny's will open if you bring a Comet stolen from the street, according to Rockstar it's not a hot and rare vehicle anymore :kekw:

You can't, much like the Bati, it's ""too hot"". Pretty f*cked overall.

They wiped out the whole British classic car segment. McLaren F1, F1 GTR, F1 LM, Morris, Bentley Silver Cloud, Bentley Continental, Rolls Royce Phantom, Jaguar XJ13…

You're telling me the Bati 801 got removed too? pfff.... I can't remember if you can find that one on the street or not, I know you can for the Hakuchou

Neither Bati 801 or Hakuchou can be stored after steeling them - they're potential prizes

More of the same too i'm affraid. Too hot to handle - so it's the lucky wheel again

This is all pre-dlc; i don't know if they've suddenly made these vehicles storeable off the street, but it wouldn't be very Rockstar to remove something from a website only to make it free on the street. Vinewood Car Club and all that...

If you have an auto shop and the auto shop service work unlocked, comet might be a random car that comes in on the lift. They are still buyable at the current moment by that method, I tried earlier with another car on the condemned list.

Another (admittedly very expensive) workaround is current gen consoles, LSCM allows you to buy cars off of other players, so if another player has a vehicle you want, you can get it that way.

Other platforms don't have this option sadly.

What a joke. They remove almost 200 cars, some of which were not at all "lesser-used". I mean, the 190z?? The S80RR?? Comet SR? Almost every OG super/sports car?? I saw those in almost every lobby I went to.

Along with this, they wiped the traffic cars from SSASA after slowly adding them all onto the site over the years, AND after giving some of them more customization. Then they combo that with an update with barely any new vehicles? I just don't get it.

Did you suddenly forget the Vinewood Car Club? I also don't see how you can not see this as FOMO? You want a car XYZ, you couldn't buy it for whatever reason, or you were waiting for it to be discounted, and now you need to wait for Rockstar gracefully add those back in for limited time, and probably without the discount in the first place...

I get what Spider-Vice is saying. Most of these vehicles aren't going to be of much interest for GTA+ subscribers. A lot of them are old, cheaper cars too, so they're unlikely to bring in all that many shark card sales when they're at Simeons/PDM or the car club. It's clearly FOMO, but it's either poorly thought out FOMO or they really need to squeeze every last penny from GTAO. Surely this can't've been done just to squeeze a couple extra GTA+ subscriptions out of the PS5/XS version, right? Like, that can't work, right? It's too f*cking stupid of a plan for it to work. I mean, are all of the delisted cars not going to be in VI and they wanna wean us off early? Do they just want people to have to buy the more expensive, newer cars instead, to try and increase shark card revenue that way? It's just so stupid, none of these plans makes sense or seem worth the outrage, they can't bring in that much cash with it, right? Only conclusion I can come to is that this decision was genuinely made by a f*cking idiot.

Wow, hat's a huge list! Now I wish I would have gotten my 2nd Seminole Frontier and a Zion Classic for my 80's collection. Didn't think those 2 were at risk of going away. I for one thought the websites were no problem navigating, at least I had no issues. I figured they would mostly just get rid of the vehicles that spawn naturally and can be stolen and stored. I haven't played since the update yet but can only imagine websites now. What is it, one page like a flyer or something now? lol I pretymuch own all the vehicles I want in the game but that's just crazy how many they cut out for the people who don't. Doesn't sound like much selection anymore.

This is absolutely shocking.

The state of rockstar now and the amount of high level talent that left them has me genuinely worried that VI is going to be a dud.

I still have hope for VI, but sadly we're seeing who's walking so it can run.

Rockstar Games really angered the GTA Online community the same way Top Gear does to the Morris Marina Owners Club. First GTA+, and now this. They're gonna have a lot of hatemail coming their way.

If you're gonna remove a number of vehicles from the websites, at least introduce a rotating selection of vehicles that appear on those websites that changes about once every week. And furthermore, add a search function on those websites for the vehicles you're looking for.

People are suckers for rarity. That's why they have those random clothes every week too, you're not even going to use that stupid t-shirt you got from doing a thing, but you still go on the game to get it. Or at least some people do, but that's still some extra engagement that they can flex. When it comes to these cars, some people like doing multiple builds, so why not get two, or four? You know, just in case. Burn some of that money, so that you don't have any for the next batch of cars. Don't worry, you can always get some quick GTA dollars with real money, if you're in a rush

So, basically every car in the game that isn’t a super or exotic.  Nice.

Don’t know what this says more about:  how much the player base sucks or how much R* sucks.. or both.

At first I was excited when I saw the new cars in-game but when I looked up how many cars got removed it just made me depressed.

I wish there was something we could do about it but even if we did somehow get Rockstar's attention I highly doubt they'd do anything.

Default bati is still for sale, they only removed rr. But yeah it's still f*cked up how hakuchou, akuma etc are gone. This is just insanity.

I don't yet buy into the whole FOMO and GTA+ theories because you can't really make some of those removed vehicles "premium", paying subs probably wouldn't want them anyway - too old, whatever. The subscription content would probably focus on the higher-end vehicles.

I realize I'm very quick to point out R*'s faults (because I'm sick of it quite frankly), but at this point I think it's obvious. The Stirling GT was removed, which in its HSW form is at the top of the sports classics class (even on last gen it's #5 for lap time, competitive) and is beloved by most car-focused players for its sound and looks. Clearly a desirable car. It's in the Vinewood Car Club as we speak, locked behind GTA+. I'm sure this isn't the first

Something I saw mentioned on Reddit is that the link to give feedback on GTA Online seems to have been removed from the website. I can't verify that since I don't know where it was before, but going to the page directly and trying to submit feedback gives an error message.

EDIT: Disregard that, I just found a very obvious feedback button. It still doesn't seem to work right though.

Something that occurred to me is that you might be able to buy some of the removed vehicles if they show up in your auto shop. I'm pretty sure I've had to work on a Seminole Frontier for example. That doesn't cover everything, though. No bikes either, but hopefully at least some of whatever bikes got removed can show up in your clubhouse.

Here's hoping they didn't go out of their way to keep you from buying them that way, or manage to do it by accident.

EDIT:I'll give an update once I get a removed car in my auto shop, assuming someone else hasn't tried it by then.
