Someone in a server I will not name is still defending them after seeing the list. sh*t has me cackling. People are wild. I told my sister who doesn't even play this game much and she was tripping out :kekw: like who is this for and why. Terrible decision, no excuses.

R* sure does have alot of crash dummy supporters :kekw:

They should just open a site for those "less-popular" vehicles instead of removing them from being able to buy them. Also adding them to GTA+ exclusive content is not a solution.

A search.

A Search option.

That is all.

Search option, maybe 2-3 new websites, more filters... tons of ways they could've cleaned up the main sites. There's no way they're removing this many cars because they're hitting some internal limit for the website interface or something, this game has maybe 3-4 updates left, this is just about getting more GTA+ subscriptions. Which isn't even a thing on 3/5 platforms available lmao.

wait what

that's an arena reward

I am assuming it's the regular Balista, it was available to purchase, the livery you get from the Arena is what's unique.

Ah, nevermind them.

That would have been the best choice.
And they could have made a joke about the low popularity of those cars on their website and provided us with a few laughs.

To be clear, this update is not about cleaning up the website, it is about taking away our choices by removing many inexpensive cars and encouraging us to buy more expensive cars, with the strong intention of exploiting us to subscribe to the GTA+.

It's not even inexpensive cars, some of those are actually pricy for your average player, this is for more limited time stuff and a potential promotion for GTA+.

The fact that any reasonable person can come up with at least half a dozen of better ways to fix the issue on the spot makes it so obvious that this is a choice being made exclusively for FOMO that it's almost sad to think about the idea of anyone, ever, taking Rockstar for their own word on this. Like, just out of the top of my head, they could have implemented:

  • A search bar
  • An option to order vehicles alphabetically
  • An option to view vehicles by brand
  • Switching out the overly broad "2-doors" / "4 doors" thing by the actual proper categories of the vehicles (Sports, Super, Bikes, etc.)
  • Reducing the icon sizes so you can fit more than just 3 cars per row
  • Adding a "Favorites" tag so you can pin specific vehicles you want on top of the page or on a sidebar

But you want to tell me *removing* cars is the solution? Are you kidding me? Who even buys into this excuse? My god...

Yikes, that is a sh*tload of vehicles that were removed. If the option to buy the vehicles from other players in the car meet is still an option, then I'm not as worried myself, but this was still a bad decision either way. And of course, there has to be stupid sh*t like this from R* every damn update.

It's available, but exclusive for new gen consoles. Last gen and PC players are left out of this obviously very useful feature for some entirely arbitrary reason.

Really? Huh...

Ironically they dodged a bullet there. :kekw:

It's really weird that they've been advertising mod menus a lot lately. I thought they were trying to fight them off! What did they mean by this?

Yes they can, the Stirling GT for example is now available in the Vinewood Car Club... And if you have a friend that has one of these vehicles, you can buy it from the LS Car Meet.

PC, PS4 and Xbox One players have no options tho, other than waiting for a specific event week.

There's still options on PC......

We can play sketchy too, R*.......🧙‍♂️

Caffeination

I stopped playing GTAO five years ago, but I’m astounded. Why remove DLC cars and vanilla cars that cannot be stolen from the street and stored in your garages?

Seems Rockstar put all their dullest tools in charge of GTAO. A search feature or dividing them by vehicle-type would’ve been better.

This makes me feel like rockstar hired the same Meta employees that are currently poisoning Discord. Either that or they had ChatGPT come up with their ideas because just what kind of double digit IQ idiot thought this was a good idea?? I actually don't even know if I want to keep playing the game if every update is going to bring stupid stuff like this!

Call it experience or instinct, maybe, but I decided to uninstall GTA a month ago. I am feeling vindicated by that decision right now, it's bone chilling, the amount of space dedicated to GTA+ on the Rockstar Newswire, all their marketing blurb and hype for LESS, but pay more.

Update = Emperor's new clothes. I was seriously considering a reinstall last night, but not now. Thank you Rockstar and the community for 10 wonderful years.

Yeah this is worse than i thought.

I have Nebula Turbo, Retinue, Pigalle, Stirling GT, GP1, 190Z, GT500, Roosevelt, both Stinger, Stafford, Swinger, Tulip, Peyote Gasser, Super Diamond, Michelli GT, Tyrus, and the Maybach 62 based Enus.

These are quality cars with decent price tag. Meanwhile they left hideous vehicles like Reaper.  Sounds to me they are trying force car guys buy their subscription. This is exactly what I was worried about, them putting quality content behind pay-wall, so if you dont pay extra or grind every weekly challenge you are stuck with low-effort cars.

This is BS. I would totally agree that this is one of the worst DLC, the effort they put in is not even close to how much they took away. Bare in mind that most of the cars are barely relevant to the theme, it’s probably reused contents from GTA 6.

I call for everyone blowing up Vinewood Car Club cars whenever you see one. Yes we are doing terrorism now.

And this theory might be a bit far stretched, but is it possible that they are doing this so these cars wouldn’t be missed in GTA 6. Remember how many nice sedans we had in GTA 4? If that is the case, those of you thinking about getting GTA+ for these cars, you are wasting good money to encourage R* to not put your favorite cars in their next title, and maybe at some point have them return these vehicle as “exclusive”.

This is f*cking shocking.

Thed even removed vehicles that were barely 2 years old or that were litterally just updated with HSW upgrades.

Not to mention they removed vanilla cars that we technicly payed for when we bought the f*cking game.

2015 = Not another garage tour invite. Seen it all before.

2023 = Garage tours have become the new vogue to see cars in GTA online.

Trying to find some humor here 🤣

For anyone who doesn't want to count, they took out 186  195 WHAT THE f*ck ROCKSTAR?!?!?
