I'm not too excited as well, we already had a raid mission on the carrier in OG heists (this time we parachute as it seems), large part of single player was dealing with Merryweather. Fighting the AI with jets I think will be rather dull and not really challenging (this is as long you do not depend on players that cannot fly). I'm still curious what the plot will be and maybe the missions are fun and have good replay value but for now I expect familiar places and a familiar enemy. Already Drug Wars recycled single player and OG heists content which kinda makes sense, since I guess a lot of new players nowadays neither played the story or the OG heists. Drug Wars seemed mid to me, and the content, the only thing I ever care for, just felt like randomly picked GTA 6 ports. Not bad content, per se, but incredibly random and kind of just unsatisfying for a full blown update. This update is giving the same energy. So my expectations are low. I do not expect to see an impressive list or selection of content come next Tuesday. I haven't been this uninvested since before Arena Wars. That update was the biggest shock ever though. But yeah, this might be the first time I'm not holding my breath for a new update in a while.
