The Worn Dark Red Peyote is not last-gen only. It's on current-gen, too. I've seen it, I've had it, it's documented by others. And I'd call it an extremely rare spawn ordinarily, except there are known ways to trigger it fairly reliably.

does a pure black crew color make for darker black crew tire smoke or is it the same density/black smoke? would love a thicker black smoke for drifting

Bluish Silver metallic with an ultra blue pearl.

Black metallic with a cream pearlecent. Anthracite black secondary.

And here's a video with pure black crew smoke to address this question from EMAGDB1N, as I was curious about it too. I quite like it.

does a pure black crew color make for darker black crew tire smoke or is it the same density/black smoke? would love a thicker black smoke for drifting

Also, if anyone knows how to get better quality out of these videos; please do let me know. The quality sucks so much. Hopefully it's good enough to get the point across though.

how does one apply pure black?

Change your crew color to #010000 or #000100 or #000001

That's actually a good question, although i do believe Black tyre smoke is #000000 which is as dark as it can get, i suppose its worth a try though.

Black tire smoke is the same as the black in game. #202020

They are called Countersteer and are in the Tuner category.

My crew is pure black color but the smoke is patriotic smoke (blue, white, red), not black.

Yep. Countersteer are the ones. Specifically the chrome variety. Thanks for the compliment.

You don't need to inspect element. It'll look like a dark blue, but in game it is black.

What you have to do is type in the hex number into the box, LEAVE THE BOX UP and then go straight to the bottom to save Crew. It will look like it has defaulted to a brighter color but it hasnt, then go to manage crew and back to edit and it will be the code you entered.

Because it wouldn't make any sense. Worn colors have an edited texture to them similar to matte. Worn you will only find on spawned rusted tornadoes, bf surfers, dune loaders etc. Youre going to find many members here clinging to the notion that certain cars spawn with worn colors that just don't. But good luck getting them to believe it. Cars like the Dukes, peyote, super diamond, etc. do not spawn with worn colors. It's been tested and the colors people think are worn are in fact just matte with a pearl. When pearl is added to paints not in the metallic color, the base coat is no longer highlighted at LSC, which has led to some members believing the base coat is some unobtainable paint such as worn or even util category paints (lol). Some have even lied about being able to isolate the codes for these paints on said cars. It goes back over a year and I doubt people will ever accept even when proof is presented to them.

If tl;dr, the cars in this thread aren't worn- they're matte with a pearl. Been confirmed for some time. Easy to do with save editor and a hell of a lot faster than waiting for random cars to spawn with supposed unobtainable colors.

Clean cars spawn in Worn colors, I've had the Gang Peyote an did the pearl glitch an put a black pearl on it:

0_0_zps3773a010.jpg

And the Buccanner will spawn in a Worn Baby Blue that is obviously not a Matte color.

I just snatched up what I am assuming is a Worn Foliage Green Gresley.

It had all the characteristics of a Worn paint job. Rare or not?

0_0.jpg

Only thing I did was switch the wheels.

Holding onto it, haven't bought tracker nor insurance, if it isn't rare then I am blowing it the f*ck up.

I think it is a worn color but those aren't rare, I see worn green Gresleys all the time at Downtown LS.

My favourite LSC combo is Metallic Bright Green with Dew Yellow pearlescent, it pops gorgeous in the sun. I call it Mountain Dew but you guys can call it whatever you want.

I also like this combo: Metallic Sienna Brown with some kind of pearlescent orange - I can't quite remember which one though.

Hey the nameless, which wheel color did you use on that Slamvan? I like the way it matches the body. When I had one of those, I was going for a copper look. Not sure if that was your intent but you got it good. I forget which exact colors I used on mine, may have been the same, it was definitely one of the Browns ith one of the oranges for a pearlescent.

Regarding the whole worn/not worn argument... First of all, this is Rockstar we're talking about, so you can pretty much leave out the "it doesn't make sense" argument. In addition to the worn colors, Rockstar has also sometimes used wheel colors as body colors on some cars. That light blue Buccaneer, for example, is a wheel color, not a worn color. You can look through the wheel colors and see there's one that's a perfect match. However, I will concede that what looks like a perfect match on screen doesn't necessarily mean it's the exact same thing.

The Worn Dark Red Peyote is not last-gen only. It's on current-gen, too. I've seen it, I've had it, it's documented by others. And I'd call it an extremely rare spawn ordinarily, except there are known ways to trigger it fairly reliably.

Really? well ok ill change it, where does it spawn now? it used to spawn with another next to it in the bus junk yard near the bridge entrance, but i have never been able to get it to spawn there since 360.

On last gen there were three different places to find the Peyote as well as the modified non gang Tornados, Manana, and Buccaneer. On current gen, only one of those places still works. It's the driveway of a house on Grove St.16037083128_cbc195d6a1_o.jpg

The house is at the purple waypoint marker, on the left (if you were coming from the starting point and following the purple path). There are two ways to trigger the cars. It helps greatly to be in the same kind of car you want, so if you want the Peyote, be in a Peyote. The first tactic is to drive back and forth along the purple path, making a U-turn at either end, looking in the driveway of the house at the waypoint marker. The alternate tactic is to just wait at the spot where the crosshairs are, facing the street with the purple path, and wait (still in the same kind of car you want). Eventually, it will come from the left (from Grove St) and turn right to come right at you. I forget what time they start appearing, but they'll only appear during daylight hours. It's not guaranteed that they'll show up on the first day, it may take a few game days of searching to get one. But for me, they almost always come on the first or second day I try to find one. Also, bear in mind that all this was discovered before heists, and some spawns have changed with heists, so what I'm saying may no longer be as accurate as it used to be.

The peyote still spawns in 3 of its original four spawn points. The only place it doesn't spawn now is inside the scrap yard.

Op, did you find the worn dukes driving around online?. I've suspected it does spawn online but I got mine from sp - mp. What system are you on?.
