Hi, 

 

I am currently making a game that takes influence from GTA3 for my university project. I have had a look online but seem to not get much from a simple Google search. I was wondering if anyone had any design documentation which can include anything from mock-ups to GDD that they would like to share would be greatly appreciated or pointed in the right direction.

For GTA3 there are some character sketches you can find, and some render/mockups but I don't know about an actual design document.

There's this but it doesn't show the whole entire thing including under-the-hood stuff. There's also a GTA 2 GDD floating around out there

Well I'll be damned I never knew of that. Seems like GTA3 was always meant to be this gray and the cartoony early screenshots were just placeholders, probably even just re-used GTA1 textures then?
