I'm not speculating, the proof is literally in the logs, in the call stack/EIP. If anyone's speculating, it's you, because you gave me 2 reasons the game is crashing and neither of them were correct. I can point out exactly where I found everything that I mentioned. All I did was report some bugs and give crash logs and debug the game just for you to act like god and tell me that I don't know what I'm doing. I'm not acting like it's a broken mess, I enjoy the mod a lot, which is why I reported the crashes and tried to give detailed information about them. Why are you starting an argument with someone who's trying to help you fix bugs in your mod?

How else am I supposed to point out where it crashes? How do you think people find and report exploits in software? How do you think that one guy who fixed GTA:O loading times did so?

 

Also this time this is a speculation because I don't have the save file with Jizzy missions anymore but jizcar seems to have the same issue as sals_car, that's most likely what was causing the crashes in the Jizzy missions. Just saying in case you missed it

Hello men 1st I want to thank you for such a great mod tons of possibilities and improvements

I recently watched hugo one run of your mod and I have some suggestions to make it more difficult and balanced some you probably may already noticed for future patches anyway this are just may opinions to make the mod a little more spicy.

1. Remove spawn helicopters they are not needed at all and make a lot of the game cheesable, except flying school and the Leviathan as is needed for missions, the only other part of the game where you may use one is after you leave the casino but that is optional. You can just adjust the time in the Toreno rescue mission to be possible on a bike instead of using a heli.

2. Adjust the time in the missions most of the hard ones are fine like Highjack, it was just perfect but some are way too easy.

Also the random gang spawns are a great idea but I think they need to appear more often and their speed should be faster to catch to player faster.

3. Block all betting tracks and increase property prices as it is is way too easy to get money to finish the game almost as vanilla gta sa.

4. Changing Gf places was a great idea I also the requirements for dating them should be higher and the speed you lose points with them should be much much faster and it should decreased even if your not in their city/area. One you date them their is not incentive to keep them I think their perks should be a much higher commit/reward situation.

5. Place more explosive barrels and barricades way more in Sf an LV as I think you put much care in LS and that made it much better than the others difficult wise. Also spawn more enemies in all missions. Like in  Jizzy´s rooftop.

6. Decrease vehicle life and remove health regen is not needed.

7. If possible Adjust gang wars spawn locations the fact they spawn behind you only, made it way way too easy. Also give them better weapons and increase their life and the number of enemies. Increase Npc enemies life in general.

8. Put more stuff to make it impossible to board the train in Snail train.

9. Block all barber and tattoo places except old reesce police can be bypassed with them.

10. Remove mini map on screen in case you need to look where to go you can use the menu map so changing the place of npcs like in photo opportunity can still be check where to go.

11.  If possible made  the 3 waves of Gang territories mandatory in order to count and made it not possible to toggle vigilante when in a gang war or despawn police vehicles when in gang war not sure how it could be done but you got the idea.

12. If possible patch Los desperados glitch to make gang wars mandatory or a way to make gang wars mandatory again you may know how I don´t really.

13. If possible patch minigun glitch, no point to tell you how it ruins the purpose of the mod. Again you may know how these may be more difficult on a tech level that I don´t get.

14. If possible made npc mission characters not be able to be left behind, maybe teleport them into a vehicle instantly if the player enters one or something like that it made the missions more difficult if you have to babysit them.

15. OPTIONAL Maybe made gang wars attacks more frequent and also available in SF and LV and if the player negelcts them may them lose money.

If possible enter a building or start a mission counts as abandon the fight.

16. Put ammo limit

17. When begin Stowaway/Against All Odds/Outrider remove player holding satchels.

18. Decrease mission money reward.

19. In Fender Ketchup adjust the bar time to make it not cheesable.

20. In Amphibious Assault put barricade so you can´t leave without diving or remove the nearby boat.

21OPTIONAL  I don´t know how this is done but I have seen in other mods that Cj is randomly attacked by spawn missiles I think is fun that you may die randomly like that on few ocassions.

For the most part these are may suggestions just in case you may want to include some regardless thanks for the fun mod and continue your projects good sir.

Nice list you got there!
1. Already done in 1.4: helicopters will be locked 90% of the time.

2. Most people said there isn't enough time so IDK.

3. Betting tracks are already locked until Catalina. Max bet is 10k$ instead of a million.

4. GFs will be useless except Barbara. The player will keep guns at all times, but not heavy weapons and explosives, even with Katie.

5. Possible, now putting too many in SF or LV is nonsense since they are rich cities so maybe a bit more.

6. You can delete the life_regen script in CLEO if you don't want it.

7. Tried to modify gang territories but they are a bit annoying to modify without glitches so I will see.

8. Maybe.

9. I will try to block all barbers and tattoos if the player has at least 1 star.

10. This will be up to the players, no need to force it.

11. I will keep the 3rd wave glitch, gang territories are kinda unecessary. I may reduce them even more in 1.4.

12. Los Desperados glitch is very likely to crash the game in that version, so maybe.

13. Minigun glitch will be harder to do and if you die you lose the minigun even with Katie.

14. Could do that for some missions but not all, so probably not since it would not be consistent.

15. Even though there are new territories most people don't care about them so I will not spend too much time (for now) on them to be honest.

16. This is a great idea, no idea on how to execute it but that's definetely possible.
17. Satchels are already reduced, Outrider forces the player to take the grenades.

18. Only for the side missions, so any% isn't going to transform into farming.

19. That mission will be modified.

20. Barricade no since I don't want to force the player to swim but removing the boat is good.

21. Yes griefer jesus, it's quite easy to do but nonsense and could make respawning a nightmare.

Happy to help. I´m eager to see what you do  with this mod in the future.

I know gang wars are not popular as they are just not fun to play most of the problem I think is that npc ai is just too predictable so I get why is not really used in mods.

14. At least I was thinking it would be worth trying in Grove4Life since is infamous how everyone leave Sweet behind as he is just worse than dead weight.

There are patch notes included with each version when you download them.

More than 600 lines of patch notes in total I would say, lots of spoilers so I would not recommend reading them before trying the mod.

 

1.3 & 1.4 will not be compatible, so I recommend 1.4 since it will be out in the 2 next weeks!

Hello man, could you help me again with another problem?, i was take some gang territories and when i killed the gang members they didn't drop me anything, not even his guns. and this happens with all the npcs, like the drug dealers.

the only thing missing is this working with Things To Do In San Andreas Volume II. haha

the last trucking mission is one of the most annoying things i've ever done.

for anyone trying to go for 100% my only tip to you is:

railroads are your friends

 

but still if the cop cheetah spawn with the drive-by cop youre as good as dead and can just head back.

Verify if you have the right AUDIO folder by comparing with mine.

Make sure you have full rights on the folder too.

That solved the issue, thanks. I guess I shouldn't have used the audio folder from steam version of GTA SA.

Not sure if this was suggested before but during the mission "Life's a beach" can you completely disable ALL pedestrians from spawning (except at the party obviously), or properly lock the DJ van so that the dancing minigame cannot be skipped with a gang member glitch? Or increase the distance in which you are not allowed to shoot without spooking the party and causing a mission fail, so as it becomes impossible to shoot the gang member in the van without failing the mission. 

In case you didn't know: if you recruit a gang member, they can get into the van from the passenger side, and disbanding the gang will make them stay inside. You can then shoot them from a distance and enter the van, thus skipping the dance.

 

Also in the same mission the dance score should be increased back to 4000 (or higher) as it originally was in the PS2 version. 

 

The bike chase during "Og Loc" should also be improved and made harder so that Freddy never stops on his bike. It's too easy to get ahead of him and shoot his bike as he tends to stop in certain places.

 

During the mission "Supply Lines" the fuel usage for the RC plane should be reverted back to the PS2 version. It depleted much faster.

 

Speaking of Supply Lines, make Zero's missions mandatory to advance into LV. Same for Robbing the bank at caligula's to advance into LS. 

 

Make it flat out impossible to board the train during "Snail Trail" 

 

Remove player parachute if they have one, before the mission "Stowaway" 

 

Can you also increase pay n spray price to 1000 dollars from 100 and double, perhaps triple the price on all transfender/loco low co. modifications? 

 

Add six star wanted level instead of four if you go into SF or LV ahead of time.

I have been speedrunning this game for a year so yeah I know about the Life's a beach trick. I decided to let it and not force the player to dance because it's boring and long as hell. It will stay and probably some enemies on bikes will spawn once you steal the van in 1.4.

OG Loc has been changed a bit to make killing Freddy more difficult.

 

Supply Lines already has the PS2 fuel in 1.3.

 

I don't think I will force the zero and heist missions, forcing the player to play longer is never a good idea. I'd rather make missions more intense.

Snail Trail yup good idea.

 

Why remove the parachute? What reason?

 

Pay'N'Spray not sure where to find the price values in the script. It might be hardcoded I'm not sure at all.

 

Even with 4 stars you can't survive on other islands for long thanks to the aggressive cops and cheetah cops. I can't put more than 4 since by default you can get max 4 when you start the game.

 

 

1.4 is almost done and should come around December 9th.

More spoilers:

- You can now buy gang territories for loads of cash

- Trucks carrying supplies, guns or heavy weapons in every part of the map

- Luck will have some influence in the traffic spawns

- New valets with a new valet van, they will spawn during valet mission

- Vigilante, paramedic and firefighter are 10 levels only, there is a con though

- All the stadiums have been tweaked

- A lot of main missions have been improved or made harder

- 2 new silenced guns

- ???

    Vice Squad:
        They now only spawn in cities (LS, SF, LV)
        Officer doing a drive-by is a little bit less aggressive
    Gang attacks:
        Fixed them not leaving CJ after being wasted
        They don't try to run CJ over most of the time
    Ammunation trucks:
        Trucks that can carry guns or heavy weapons / explosives
        They are not bulletproof but have a decent amount of health
        Destroy one to get the content, police will be alerted
        Trucks with a tarp carry heavy weapons and alert will be higher
        Loot for guns (5 magazines): M4, Army-AR, Desert-AR
        Loot for heavy weapons (20 units): Grenades, Satchels, Rocket Launcher
    Cash vans:
        They have been tweaked and behave like the Ammunation trucks
        Wad of cash has been replaced by a bag of cash (like in the heist)
    Supplies vans:
        Trucks carrying armor most of the time
        Not bulletproof, there isn't any real danger from destroying those
    Placement for items has been greatly improved, they spawn on ground level
    Spawns for random events are now correct, they spawn with the right angle
    
- Side missions:
    - Paramedic:
        Only 10 levels to do instead of 12 to finish the mission
        Your health increases by 33% every time you do Paramedic
        Paramedic can be done 3 times if you want the full health bar
        Paramedic needs to be done only once to get the percentage for 100%
    - Firefighter:
        Only 10 levels to do instead of 12 to finish the mission
    - Vigilante:
        Only 10 levels to do instead of 12 to finish the mission
        Armor will increase by 25% instead of the usual 50%
    - Pimping: you can do it with the Pimpster which is faster than Broadway
    - Valet Parking:
        Some valets from another company will come and try to get you
        Those valets are "Chad Valets" and they will do drive-bys
        Cars that need to be parked will never have a marker above them
    - Shooting Range:
        Default weapons have been replaced by professional weapons
        You get weapon skill related to these weapons and twice as much
        Hitman level is obtained for the Desert Eagle instead of pistols
        Weapon skill for silenced pistol and pistols is added regardless
        When you finish the mission you win 2k$ instead of 10k$
    - LS Stadium, 8-Track:
        Renamed "Flatout"
        Your car will always be the Clover
        The track has been covered with dirt bumps
        Other participants will have various muscle cars
    - SF Stadium, Blood Bowl:
        Renamed "Destruction Derby":
        Your car will always be the Stargazer, it is the reward too
        Base time limit to win has been prolongated to 3 minutes
        Other participants will only have Hotring for cars
    - LV Stadium, Dirt Track:
        Renamed "MTX VS ATV"
        Other participants have modified quads and bikes
        Reward has been replaced by a "Dirty Quadbike"
    - LV Stadium, Kickstart:
        Renamed "Twisted Metal"
        Some clowns are part of the show

- Missions:
    - Los Santos & RTLS -
        Big Smoke:
            There will be 4 Ballas doing a drive-by instead of 2
            They are deadly, have more health and cannot be dismembered
            You can no longer kill the Ballas before they respawn
        Tagging Up Turf:
            Orange 12 has some beef with a thug
            More Ballas will be hanging out next to the Cluckin' Bell
        Cleaning The Hood:
            Drug dealers have some backup protecting their den
        OG-Loc:
            Freddy is dealing less damage so you don't get one shot
            You attracted some local Vagos' attention
        Life's a Beach:
            Party members call some friends when you steal the van
        Drive-By: mission is easier since Sweet's car is bit more resistant
        Sweet's Girl:
            Seville Boulevard will block the way with a car
            The cars chasing you will have homies doing a drive-by
        High Stakes, Low-rider:
            One participant has a hell of a ride for the race
            Other participants will drive way faster than usual
        Madd Dogg's Rhymes:
            Bodyguards have silenced macs instead of combat shotguns
        Management Issues:
            Pay'N'Spray no longer blocked by immovable objects
            All the bodyguards will have new guns
            Main car has been replaced by a Stretch, other cars by Sultan
        Doberman:
            Tutorial time has been reduced by half, 60 to 30 seconds
            The set up Ballas at the end will be in a car with his friends
            They all have macs and are extremely aggressive
        Vertical Bird:
            Some weekend soldiers will be guarding the spy ships
            They fire homing missiles if you get too close from them
        Riot and late game missions: Sweet's car is now a Bonewood
        Beat Down on B-Dup:
            Some Ballas cars come to defend B-Dup, they will do a drive-by
        End of the Line P1:
            Ballas Rhino is faster and more likely to reach you
            Flying and explosive surprise near the fortress
            Big Smoke will have a different weapon depending on CJ's weapons
            He will have a minigun only if the player has one
        End of the Line P3:
            Hey, that's the DA, he's a good tipper
            Police and enemy cars have regular health instead of 40-70%
            Most enemies have armor, so you have to be good at headshots
            Some special agents just like in Reuniting The Families
            CJ gets a Mac instead if the Micro Uzi

            Barrels in the way are mission only, they will not respawn
        Mike Toreno:
            Premier has been replaced by a FCR-900 for the entrance's jump
            Mike cellphone's battery time has been increased by 15 seconds
            SF Airport entrance is blocked only during this mission
            Stretch (limo) has been replaced by "Airport Taxi"
            Suspicious activity in front of Pay'N'Spray
        Ice Cold Killa:
            Jizzy put some extra protection on the roof
        Amphibious Assault:
            Only 1 lung capacity upgrade needed instead of 2 (fixed)
            Enemies on the ship have better guns and higher accuracy
        Yay Ka Boom Boom:
            Layout of the drugs factory has been modified
            Enemies will use vehicles to run over CJ once the factory is blown
            Barrels in the way are mission only, they will not respawn
        Zeroing In:
            The car is a repossess, some repo guys will come after it
            They attack CJ only after getting into the car
        Test Drive:
            Police units are parked along side the road during the pursuit
            They have cops with shotguns, they are good at popping tires
        Customs Fast Track:
            Security have better weapons, armor and more accuracy
        Puncture Wounds:
            The car belongs to the mayor's wife, you get 4 stars wanted level
    
    - Las Venturas & Desert -
        Interdiction:
            Some special agents set up a deadly ambush
            One extra helicopter will be after you when you get the package
        Fender Ketchup:
            The Triads parked some vans in the way (speedrun)
            Orange 12 is caught up in some road rage with Elvis
        Explosive Situation:
            Weekend soldiers will assist the quarry's security
        You've had your Chips:
            The mechanics have armor and are deadly
            It is no longer possible to not make the backup enemies spawn
        Saint Mark's Bistro:
            You cannot switch or use your guns during the mission
            Your assigned weapon will be the current melee weapon you have
            If you don't have any melee weapon, you will get a bat by default
            Everyone will use barehands or melee weapons
            All the enemies are more aggressive and will try to get intimate
        Dam and Blast:
            You are free to use your own weapons anytime
            Some guards will have good weapons and armor
        Up, Up and Away!:
            The guards on the platform have heatseeking missiles
            They will change their main gun to heavy rifle when you land there

You're welcome.

As for the new "silenced" guns they are obtainable only during certain missions.
There is some reason behind that, these guns are mostly for aesthetic and lore.

It's not possible unless you tried to load some savefile from another version or installed other mods

    Other weapons have a capacity of 5000 ammo, mostly guns

    You can start any mission any time, time will be switched to earliest hour
    Ex: Life's a Beach can be started between 22:00 and 6:00, it's now possible

        Fixed the cars still driving even after killing the drivers
        Removed the cars not despawning during the cutscene

Any chance I could recover this save? Was trying to load an autosave after the game crashed once, and now whenever I load the save the game immediately crashes. Just updated to 1.44 and attempted to fix but so far no luck.

No you're better off starting new game

Autosave in 1.43 could mess savefiles (even manual ones) so that's why I used another autosave that is way more stable and works well.

 

That's why I put this quick update to fix that and make sure people don't get anymore issues. (1.44 is the best)

Alright no problem then. Good thing I wasn't too far into the game yet, I've been loving the mod though, still feels like San Andreas but with a breath of fresh air.

Damn, after like 20 attempt to download it, Finally worked, i had issues with "SOUNDS" crashed every time i go to a vehicle, after all i wanna ask THE 1.4 HAS HOT COFFE? its useless IK but man the proposite of this, is making a hard gta sa not a sex game can u respond me pls

Why make it bulletproof? You can't go close to Freddy without getting obliterated anyway.

160 round of spray? It's just annoying not even difficult or interesting.

Better restarting, 1.45 is coming tomorrow which fixes the pickups problems by the way.
