Interesting, I thought it had been intentional so I was buying cheap safehouses to save my game. I don't have a save diskette in Doherty either. That's fine though, even if it's a bug I think it's an interesting way to switch up the gameplay a bit.

Wrong side of the tracks is just stupidly hard and unfair, 1 vago with a shotgun and another one with a freaking homing launcher not even normal rockets, I get it that you blocked the speedrun strat but still that's just unfair having to relay on smoke by shooting them with a tec 9, not even an M4 or something

No hot coffee, no. I don't care much about girlfriends so I won't be spending time for them (for now).

Ok I'm gonna give you some tips.

- The shotgun Vagos dies after 20s since he gets hit by a barrier anyway.

- You can drive-by the Vagos once you reach the country side part.

- You can park a car or a plane to crush the Vagos before hitting the mission marker.

- There are M4 and Sniper Rifles around the map to snipe the rocket Vagos. You can get the Green M4 during a Ryder's mission too.

- There is a way to get rid of the driver of the train.

 

This is what The Challenge is about, thinking and using everything the game can offer.

Be aware that I've had so many complains about the game being too easy and I still could have made this mission way harder.

 

I'm making one interactive map for the mod so you guys will be able to get all weapons, armor and collectibles (collectibles give better weapons btw).

The mission "Jizzy" is super bugged, skipping the cutscene where the preacher gets in the bus with the hoe causes the APC to spawn inside of the OP bulletproof/explosion proof/damageproof bus. I was only able to pass this mission by shooting through the seemingly bullet proof windows of the bus to kill the preacher, not even a minigun was enough to blow the bus or the APC up. The protection guys in the APC refused to get out until the bus bugged out and flipped over. I think this one needs a rework since I was only able to pass it because of a bug.

GTASA-Mapper is almost done!

 

It's a tool that I made so you can have a look at everything on the San Andreas map.

You can track and have a look at every collectible. It's possible to switch between vanilla or The Challenge mode.

There is a .ini file saving your progress and a markers system as well.

It's extremely intuitive, you can zoom in/out, select/deselect, filter, etc.

Make sure you have admin rights to the folder of where the game is.

Download the audio folder provided in the readme.

I wanted to wait for next version but 1.3 is going to add complex things thus taking a lot of time.

So maybe I will make a new post soon on forums just for the mapper.

You need 3 rockets. Or you can use military AR or heavy Rifle, they work too. You can just follow him until he stops completely.

 

Since there is a speedrun strat that can only be negated with increasing the heli health that's how it is now.

Plenty of people said that mission was "easy" lol.

 

By the way I made 14 new scripts, created random events and improved certain missions a LOT in 1.3.

Can't wait to show you guys it's gon be epic.

Another feature: Personal Vehicles

 

You can have 4 different vehicles that you can call anytime / anywhere.

Every vehicle is unlocked after a certain mission and cost a different price.

 

Can be used even during missions, works with controller and / or keyboard.

 

 

One last feature before next release: Random Events

 

Events can happen randomly in some areas during certain times, depending on the player's progression.

Ballas attacking you in Idlewood after Tagging Up Turf - or a van full of cash wandering the city (inspired by the gta 5 feature) to name a few.

- Life regeneration:
    You gain a bit of health overtime (1hp / 6s)
    Health regeneration is faster when in a vehicle (1hp / 3s)
    
- Gangs:
    + New gang "Corporate Homies":
        Rich and "hardcore" version of the homies with better weapons
        They can be seen driving in Phoenix or Sentinel

    Range for the MP5 has been increased
    Weapons have been classified into groups merging the skill levels:
        Assault Rifle: AK-47, Kruger

- Pickups:
    - Mac, LS, Glen Park, on the porch of a house

    - Sweet's Toys:
        New collectible that looks like a "toy", Sweet loves it
        They can be found around the map, no need to swim, no need jetpack

            All the girlfriends love you (same as oyster perks)
            Sweet's car will always be fully bulletproof    
    - Oysters have been replaced by Sweet's Toys
    - Tags: 20 tags added in South Las Venturas for a total of 150

- Vehicles:
    + "Brigade":
        Military truck that is fully bulletproof, based on the FBI Truck
        Has a working machine gun, hold LB or Left Click to use
        Can be used for Vigilante
    + "Hellscaper":
        Fully bulletproof fast car, based on the Hotring
        Has 2 working machine guns, hold LB or Left Click to use
        Can be used for Vigilante
    + "Stargazer":
        Insanely fast car with a jet engine, based on the Hotring B
        Has infinite nitro, release LMB (or LB) + acceleration to refresh it
        Replace the Super GT after driving school is done (bronze)
    + "Patrol Rancher":
        Special Rancher with model based on forest patrol car
        Rare spawn in country side areas (like pizzaboy in cities)
    + "Sabre Turbo":
        More powerful version of the Sabre
        Spawns in desert areas or wher Da Nang Boys can be found
    Brigade spawns in Easter Basin naval base

    Sabre Turbo with a special color spawns in East Las Venturas
    Secret blue Cheetah spawns in Badlands around Blueberry
    Devaste and Tyrant are now fully bulletproof
    Updated colors for military vehicles, they have 5 colors
    Some models have been upgraded and have multiple colors instead of one:
        Patriot, Barracks, Rhino & Swat APC
    Rhino when you get 100% is colored green (for the Grove!)
    Police special units are black colored instead of red
    
- Random events:
    - Ballas attack:
        Enabled after "Tagging Up Turf"
        Disabled after "Grove 4 Life"
        Ballas send a car to get you, spawns in Idlewood
    - Vagos revenge:
        Enabled after "OG Loc" (after Freddy has been killed)
        Disabled when you leave Los Santos
        Vagos send a bike to get you, spawns in Los Flores
    - Rigged cars:
        Some cars may explode if you try to drive them ...
    - Toreno's 'friends':
        Enabled after doing some Toreno's missions
        Never disabled since it happens only during night time
        Secret agents send one unit if you hang in Bone County
    - Security van:
        Happens rarely in cities (dense areas), only during morning
        A van that can contain between 2000$ to 10000$ will spawn
        The van is fully bulletproof, you can get the cash with explosives
        Total money is higher is SF and highest is in LV
    - Vice Cops:
        Reinforced Cheetah spawns with 2 officers, one doing a drive-by
        If you have more than 2 stars they can spawn randomly
        They despawn if you have less than 2 stars
    - Cop Squad:
        Armored Patriot spawns with 3 FIB agents, two doing a drive-by
        If you have more than 4 stars they can spawn randomly
        They despawn if you have less than 2 stars
    - Army Squad:
        Armored DFT spawns with 4 military personnel, they are deadly
        This event happens only when you have 6 stars
    - Rifas revenge:
        Enabled after killing T-Bone in "Pier 69"
        Rifas send a car to get you, spawns around Jizzy's Dome
    - Da Nang Boys attack:
        Enabled after doing enough Woozie's missions
        Da Nangs send a bike to get you, spawns around Esplanade North
        Happens quite rarely
    
- Side missions:
    Vigilante can now be done with 2 new vehicles

- Missions:
    - Los Santos & RTLS -
        Drive-Thru: surprise motherf*cker!
        Cesar Vialpando:
            Minimal cash you can bet is 500$, maximal cash is 2500$
            Mission ends as soon as you reach 1500 points
        Home Coming:
            Ballas density has been increased so they can spawn easily
            You get 3 extra territories from Willowfield after the mission
        Beat Down on B-Dup:
            Ballas density has been increased so they can spawn easily
            You get 1 extra territory (skate park) after the mission
        Grove 4 Life:
            Ballas attacks in Idlewood will stop after the mission
            All Idlewood territories belong to the Grove after the mission (+2)
            You get 2k$ instead of 10k$ at the end of the mission
        Los Desperados:
            Some Vagos in the first part have hitman level
            A 'surprise' is waiting for you in the last sequence
        End of The Line P1:
            Ballas will protect Smoke's crack den extremely well
            The Swat APC is no longer fireproof and has normal health
    
    - San Fierro & Badlands -
        Tanker Commander: scripted event happens in that mission
        Small Town Bank: local police called a roadblock
        Local Liquor Store:
            The cowboy assholes have brought their girlfriends with them
            Girls will shoot aggressively you if you get too close
        Wu Zi Mu: other participants have new cars
        Jizzy: mission has been balanced, Coach is no longer explosionproof
        Mike Toreno: Da Nang Boys have their respective weapons
        Amphibious Assault: Da Nang Boys have a new set of weapons
        The Da Nang Thang: Da Nang Boys have their respective weapons
    
    - Las Venturas & Desert -
        Intensive Care:
            Mafia gorillas have sport cars and are extremely reactive
            Backup Sentinels will arrive almost instantly
        Madd Dogg:
            Paparazzi will come and chase you, they are aggressive

- Beat Down on B-Dup: mission was 'breaking' the game, now fixed
- Fixed some problems in the main script concerning model loading
- Since the main script has been revised, crashes should occur way less

1.3 is not compatible with 1.2.

 

Too many changes and new scripts that need the player's progression.

The map has been modified too so parts may break if you load a 1.2 savefile.

There's also another problem, where the game crashes when i reach cj's house, the crash dialogue links to the file "audio/streams/CH" although i have the audio folder.

Yeah the game gets audio related crashes if you don't use the US 1.0 exe provided.
Try to download my audio folder, it's provided on the main post and in the readme.

i have a windows 10 OS 64x, the problem is audio related the, my exe version is 1.0 US HOODLUM and the normal gta san andreas that i have doesn't have audio related problems

I am going to re-write:

Without the provided exe (US 1.0 NO-CD) the game can NOT work.

 

I need OS AND specs of your pc.

I've managed to fix the problem. I discovered that I had mixsets installed and there was an incompatibility between the limit options for car models loaded in MixSets and the cargrp limit of the fastman92 limit adjuster, and the error dialog was saying the audio files were linked to the last loaded file.

No I won't make the mod compatible with other mods because that would take days. I'd rather do something else.

It's not possible to make it compatible with certain mods since I used new IDs & certain functions from limiters.
