The Challenge San Andreas

I got a lot of stuff for San Andreas enjoyers today.

Dumpster diving:
You can search some dumpsters to find useful stuff, food, weapons, money, pills, ... - loot table has 18 items.

There is a new drug called 'Sooth' which increases max health and stamina. Adrenaline pills have been replaced by another drug called 'Grin'.

 

Pizza delivery system:

That's right, you can call a delivery guy anytime for only 20$ - even during missions. There is a short cutscene tutorial at the end of the mission 'Ryder'. You get around 50% health with a pizza, no more starvation or critical situations.

 

2 other new features:

- Weapon selling: offload some weapons for big bucks.

- Paper notes: notes giving you details about secret features, weapon pickups, etc.

 

Idaho (from Vice City): fully converted with SA aesthetics / shading / textures. Appears in 'Cleaning the Hood' as a convenient spawn.

 

NPCs giving your personal vehicles are gone. There will be a short cutscene for each vehicle when they become unlocked. You get to try the vehicle for free the 1st time too.

 

Main missions:

6 / 7 main missions will be heavily modified (3 done already, there will be a video for each).

Some missions will get improvements, balancing and extra stuff.

Mainly:

- Getting a spawn when you finish a mission

- Getting teleported back for long missions (mission failed or passed)

- Possible extra rewards depending on how well you did a mission

- Short cutscenes and infoboxes explaining unlocked features

 

Fixes:

- Fixed more crashes, rewritten some scripts

- Fast travel will be available even during missions.

- Plenty of info texts concerning events and things that can be missed.

Are there places to take photos in las venturas? Because the mapper shows that they are there, but I didn't find any

I can't remember any snapshots in Las Venturas. I think you are mistaking a camera pick up for a snapshot. There are more gang tags in Las Venturas though!

They were snapshots in LV in 1.2, they were removed because it was making the game much more unstable.
Use the last version of the mapper for accuracy.

This is a timelapse of a VC conversion to SA for the Idaho, coming next update:

 

Took about 5 hours, total of 6 since I had to do the damaged parts later. That is how much time it takes on average to make or convert a new vehicle.

Thought it would be interesting to show how much work is put to make sure the new features meet high quality.

This process has been done for the Idaho, Infernus, Banshee, Deluxo and Stinger.

Vice City and 3 models will be used as bases, since they are superior.

 

I may or may not make a vote for the next vehicles to be converted.

Folder containing the map for those got corrupted, so probably not. Though you need only 50 jumps to get the best reward.

Most of the new jumps are mainly convenient or give access to bribes and weapons.

Kuruma and GTA III Infernus in the challenge?

 

Should they be added? I fully converted them for SA but they look a bit too modern. Feel free to suggest more vehicles.

The "Hurricane" is done, it can drop bombs that you can trigger on command with the horn.

I allready suggest kuruma! a lot of memories as I said before I would like to see the red taxies from gta3 lcs as an unlockable but how to use them as you said thare allready 3 type of taxis, how about little wille from vcs!? and I will like to see an moto like pcj but an slower version an 125 cc and mybe streetfighter and virtoso from vcs

2 F1 cars almost done, took 15 hours total. Timelapse will be available.

First version is the new vehicle for 'City Slicking', reward for all gold medals too. The 'other' (not shown) will be somewhere else.

since you add so many vehicles and some are "emergency vehicles" may I suggest an side missions if you like the ideea and if it's possible!

an remaster Import/Export crane from gta 3. in this case I thing the best version will be grage not crane. and the best location would be somewhere in the desert maybe near snake farm or where take place the interdiction mission, or chose the location you want if you like the ideea.

it should be cool with all of those emergency vehicle , and it will be as your mod name said, an challenge!

and ps I was the one who has criticism for the release of the last version,in main the fact that you said next week, next month, soon, but I never go personally and I try to be who I am an educated person . so I think that you should do a video for the new version. it is an awesome mod one of the great of them all. forget about the heaters allways will be a new one

I'm thinking maybe the location for the new Import/Export mission would be either at Ocean Docks in Los Santos or the LVA Freight Depot in Las Venturas.

Good idea but I think I'll stick to modifying already existing side missions, there are enough of them, let's put ressources into those.

I will modify the original exports lists since I recently managed to modify the lists without crashes / problems. All the spawns for exports will be modified too.

 

Next update will add plenty of unique vehicles that I modeled for dozen of hours. F1 cars, a new type of kart, 2 exotic cars & more. Plenty of stuff never seen before in San Andreas mods.

NRG & BMX Challenge will be replaced. All the races still have the same tracks, though they will be themed with new vehicles and made much harder.

 

Overall next update will be about racing, improvements and tutorials.

*edit: I'm rewriting a lot of the scripts, text will be extremely easy to translate into other languages.

about the vehicles it will be cool to have an alternative vehicle for the paramedic missions,and maybe since you need to repeat the mission for max health how about to have more seats avaible? it is possible?

and I'm here again for those new stunts ..any kind of help? it will kill me to foud or that folder was the only think. I don't know bribe location maybe?

And the worst think it happen this evan on the drive by missions,  so maybe it’s my Pc so I will try to reinstall the windows maybe this is the solution

 

reinstallin the windows solve the problem with drive by missions, but the problem with caffe remain , evan with helena!
