Worst Radio Station in Each Game.

Nah channel x is sissy, amateur sh*t and isn't comparable to LCHC. That being said, they did a really good job with LCHC, hell they even managed to find a good Bad Brains song because imo most of their songs suck. The only bad addition to the station is Murphy's Law - A Day In The Life, but every station in every game suffers from at least 1 or more bad additions.

Channel X has great artists, but pretty sh*t songs. It's disappointing.

GTA III: MSX, has a few good tracks but definitely my least favourite in this game

GTA Vice City: Espantoso I guess, their best songs are the ones playing at the Ocean View Hotel.

GTA San Andreas: Playback FM, literally never tune into this one.

Liberty City Stories: Double Cleff FM

Vice City Stories: Espantoso

IV: Massive B

GTA V and Online: Blonded, and everything added to Online since then

III - MSX FM

Vice City - K-Chat

San Andreas - Playback FM

Liberty City Stories - LCFR

Vice City Stories - VCPR

IV - PLR, Integrity 2.0, WKTT Talk Radio

EFLC - Self-Actualization FM

V - East Los, WCTR, Blaine County Radio and Channel X

III: Flashback FM. It's a decent station but feels out of place. I liked the original material on other stations more.

Vice City: Fever 105. It's not bad, but I liked other stations more.

San Andreas: K-DST. Again, like Fever 105, I don't hate it but it's not my favorite.

IV and Episodes from Liberty City: Liberty Rock Radio. Yea yea it's ironic, it's sarcastic, it's supposed to be outdated. I don't care. It's still a painful listen and pisses me off everytime it comes on. It's serving its purpose, I suppose.

V and Online: Lots of unmemorable streaming service automated-playlist-type stations in these games, but iFruit Radio takes the cake. The worst radio station in the entire series.

Spoiler

The radio stations in V and Online are generally terrible because most of them are painfully pedestrian, like, they play stuff you'd hear on real radio stations, and there's no "edge" for the lack of a better word. Everything is so smooth and most of the songs are perfectly happy with being background music. Even in the biggest hits of any year you could find some oddball songs, like Japanese Boy in Vice City. V doesn't have that, maybe a few in East Los FM and Motomami but that's it. It has agreeable picks, like the thousand Kendrick songs in Radio Los Santos that were already all over the charts and playing everywhere when the game came out. There are some stations based around one artist or producer's work, unfortunately I didn't like any of them. And many stations lack cohesion. You can't depend on them. You switched to Non-Stop Pop expecting some glitzy glamorous late noughties pop? Syke! Have some '80s throwback.

I don't have any strong opinion on the other games. The 2D games were very different from the later ones so there's no point to include and compare them. I also haven't replayed LCS, VCS, and Chinatown Wars enough to remember the radio stations, but my point about Flashback FM still stands when it comes to LCS.

Here we go again...

GTA1: The Buckner Show has only 1 song

GTA2: Lofi

GTA3: Double Clef

Vice City: [Haven't had the chance to play it. Like really.]

San Andreas: KJAH West

LCS: KJAH

VCS: [I really couldn't tell you. When I beat this game twice, I mostly played Fresh 105. I haven't payed attention to all of the stations so I don't want to take a guess.]

4: [Couldn't tell you. Every time I get the game I lose my save and I can't get it to run well on my 2016 laptop]

5&6: Any station with trap music.

Why yes, this is how I choose to spend my days off...

i dont have complaints about the radio stations, i loved the in house from gta 1 to gta 3, very creative trio of games. i would have to say all of liberty city stories, there's maybe 1 song that is okay, but literally all of the songs in that game are so awful, i just cant listen to any of it

I wasn't particularly a huge fan of the reggaeton/modern latin stations like San Juan Sounds, MOTOMAMI and East Los. I'd scratch it up to not really liking those genres I guess.
