Subquests which you always do / never do

For me, the sub-quest in San Andreas where you can chase the courier (Cesar calls you and tells you about them) is the worst sub-quest in probably the entire GTA series, and I am very happy that it's optional.

 

Firstly, the couriers have ludicrous bike skills and run rings around you. Second, they seem to be indestructible. I just drove alongside one of them and emptied what felt like a hundred rounds of ammo into him,  and he didn't even change course.

 

Third, they usually spawn so far from where you are that it's just a total PITA to even get near them, and usually they've already dropped half their stash. Pointless.

 

I figured I'd at least try this sub-quest, but no way. Not wasting any more time on that.

 

On the other hand, the girlfriend sub-quests are kind of fun, and don't require any real skill other than a decent dancing ability. 

 

Which optional quests do you make a point of always doing / always skipping?

I avoided Vigilante it was my least favorite of the vehicle side missions

 

Taxi side missions I always did. It's a nice way to familiarize yourself with the city especially in the beginning.

If it doesn't involve a cutscene I skip on most of the side content, i just try them out.

Paramedic to level 12 on a single stretch I don't have the patience anymore to ever attempt again, aswell as using a map to religiously hunt down every collectible.

I love the vigilante sub-mission, especially with the hunter in the south-western part of Vice City, I can chain the levels and make million dollars insanely fastly there.
