Modloader not working on PC DVD edition nor do I know what version it is

I bought a DVD copy of San Andreas this month and Modloader (https://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=25377) isn't working at all, saying the game isn't supported every time I try to launch the game. I have no idea if the game is V2 or V1. The main menu does not display a version and the box doesn't suggest first or second edition. I can't find a single clear answer anywhere.

You need to find gta_sa.exe version 1.0 US in internet, called nocd or crack or hoodlum

Read this tutorial, but consider that it was targeted to the steam version
