Enterable Comedy Club - Grand Theft Auto IV

This interior mod allows you to enter and explore Split Sides Comedy Club in normal gameplay like you

can regular interiors, without teleportation, and including proper collision and working doors.

 

 

This is for all versions of GTA IV.
A new save is not required for this mod to work either.

 

 

Install:

 

INSTALL: Put files into the equivalent directories with Open IV


INSTALL (Fusion Overloader): Drag and drop update folder into main IV directory.

I originally made this for fun not planning to share it, it was simply to make the interior accessible without a trainer and that meant the bottom floor was basically an empty shell, when I

decided I would publish it I wanted to dress the new room up a bit and add some props to make it look a bit more like a normal interior.

UPDATE:  Enterable Comedy Club v2.0 - See updated topic images for changes

 

Changelog:

 

-Redesigned entrance room

-Misc improvements

-Added Proper Reception ped who will greet you (Scripted)

-Added Security Guards, and Bartender (Scenarios) - (As they are scenario peds they will not necessarily always spawn, this is just the game managing its memory).

-Added ATM

-Added optional Navmesh

-Added file conflicts guide

-Added Fusion Overloader Install

 

*Fixed a rare bug where police could sometimes see and shoot player from outside (They'd been able to penetrate some of the building's electronic signs)

*Fixed door textures only facing one way

 

The script to move the blip inside is not included in v2.0 as it doesn't fit the new design. If you have the original version of this mod installed you may want to put a vanilla ambcomedyclub.sco back into your script.img

Tried it using Fusion Overloader and it works great!

 

@Scott1 I only found one issue, in TLAD & TBOGT only: when you push/go through the entrance doors, you can see the old regular static doors textures (only from the outside).

 

An idea to improve the mod a bit would be to add ambient/radio music in the stage area (like in other interiors e.g. Perestroika cabaret) so it can feel a bit more alive.

Hi, thanks for that. Which others mods are you using as I believe the building model (ts_pharlge01_dc9.wdr) is being overwritten by another mod on your EFLC.

 

Having some ambient music in there is a good idea so it's not so deathly quiet, so I might add some in a future update

I'm using FusionFix and Various Fixes, maybe the latter is the one overwriting, since it modifies a lot of textures around the map. I'll try moving your mod above VF in the update file when I get the chance, and see if anything changes.

Various Fixes does have ts_pharlge01_dc9.wdr since it updates the textures for TBOGT (since it used console quality textures) so yeah, have to set priority.

Hey having an issue with this conflicting with Liberty Alive, I would have a TWAT dude at the ticket counter at the club.
I tracked the problem down to both mods using a modified ambinternetcafe.sco

 

If I put comedy club to load ahead of L.A I get a twat guy at the gas station in hove beach, I can't tell if it breaks anything beyond that.

I did a file comparison on the original, L.A and Comedy Club, but I don't know how to modify sco files there is a lot going on thruout the script changes, so it's above my pay grade.

Any advice? be nice it I could get these two mods to play nice together.

This mod is pretty good and i like it, but is there a way to add some music in it, nevermind what music, this silence is killing...

P.S. When i am using the conflicting file to import in scenarios i am loosing the security man.
