I think the abandoned mansion you find the Sultan RS parked behind is supposed to be Salvatore's mansion more than Jimmy's house because the abandoned mansion & Sal's mansion both are at the end of dirt roads away from main roads

Unlikely. Jimmy P is New Jersey mob. Sal's mansion is in Portland, Brooklyn in real life.
