I always just used the speakers on the system for audio, which aren’t too bad for a little handheld, but I decided to use a good pair of over ear Sennheisers that I usually use for my PC for this playthrough and wow, I am blown away by how much better the game is with good audio output. The voice acting really comes alive, and the radio has so many bangers that I didn’t full appreciate through the PSP speakers. I think it may actually be my new favourite GTA soundtrack. I may be over 15 years late to this realisation, but to any portable VCS players who have only played with the PSP speakers or sh*tty earphones, try a good pair of headphones for a transformative VCS experience.
