Context: I feel that Franklin in gta v is quite underrated mainly because he looks to similar to CJ and his a less interesting story and is a whiner. However, I disagree. Franklin in my opinion is the best character because, he has saved and tried to help Michael multiple times such as when Michael was about to die by the Chinese mafia and he felt sorry for Michael when he lost his family and said nice things to Michael. He even said nice things to michael and tried to end conflicts between Michael and Trevor. Sure, he may look boring but at least he is nice to his friends. Despite all the conflicts between him and Lamar, he still cared for him, tried not to get him killed and understood the situation. He acted maturely. I hope I'm not alone. If that is, I will be very sad! The number of times that you mentioned Michael in this post of yours should tell you everything you need to know about how poorly written and overshadowed Franklin is. He was still the main character of the game. (Claim) There is no difference in between how poorly written these characters (Trevor, Michael, and Franklin) were. (Evidence) People should be thankful to Franklin. Franklin made Michael so proud. (Reasoning) Who is going to mention all the times he saved his friends. Think, "Lamar down" when he saved Lamar from the ballas, think "Fresh meat" where Franklin independently saved Michael, think "Father/Son" where Franklin helped Michael get his son back and saved Jimmy too, think of Option C (the most chosen ending) where he took care of 3 friends, including Lamar. He also was capable of ending the arguments of Michael and Franklin. (Concluding Sentence) Overall, Franklin deserved to be said as the main character of the game. The whole game would be incomplete without him. Franklin is needed and is an important part of the game. Your assertion that Franklin didn't have enough time doing his own game is wrong. The reason why people detest franklin is because, they don't realize the countless number of times Franklin has saved his friends. The whole point of the post was the explain why Franklin is needed and why he should be considered the main character and why he is the best! I suggest you look at the story and see how many times, Franklin has not just helped but saved his buddies. I'm done dealing with people who don't understand how important Franklin is. Franklin was like the King of the story for saving his friends. Now you might be wondering, oh what about "he is boring"? Well, there is one thing about him, how interesting he talks. He also talks in a funny way, especially to Lamar. He is also mature as he knows what's going on with people, who is setting people up (such as who set Lamar up and that was Stretch). He has the habit of situational awareness. So while Franklin may seem like a minor character to you, Franklin is also mature and smart and is a saviour. Got it?
