The next version will attempt to fix these strange installation issues.

 

It should be hopefully ready in a day or two, only the clear timecycle will be done for this update, and others will be reworked in later updates. It will also include high-resolution textures for all horses and John's outfits.

Might already be able to install this on the Switch version if so, with MagicRDR.

Just wanted to clarify for people wondering

The current BETA 1.0 installer only works on Disc 1 of the RDR GOTY edition

It is not compatible with Non-GOTY or Undead Nightmare

The GOTY edition iso is in the folder with the installer.bat? Must be Xbox GOTY Edition.

yep, i have xbox 360 goty as 2 iso files , disk 1 and disk 2

Possibly bad checksum? Reacquire the iso and try again.

At this moment it's Ryujinx, the game on Yuzu has memory leaks and will drop frames though AMD GPUs will get flickering on Ryujinx

Oh I really wanna try this mod when it get a Switch version  

 

This one really makes me wanna replay it not only because of the improvements on textures and draw distance (those two elements have always annoyed me, even playing on SX last time), but because of gameplay changes on physics and AI behaviour. I really hope you can reach a point to even add back cut content  to the game, like outfits.

I have installed this on the GOTY DVD1 but how do I know it actually has worked? When I load it in Xenia as a new game everything looks the same as the original iso. Any way to confirm the mod has been applied?

Also, would love to beta test the switch version!

Since the next update will have a lot of noticeable changes out of the gate, you should be able to find a difference quickly, but for 1.0, you can pause and check the game map, if it's using the new RDR 2 accurate style, then it's installed.

The Switch version will be available sometime later.

Mod isn't applying on standard edition

When using the 540p patch and upscaling using 2x2, the flickering is constant 

 

 

edit: updated my xenia canary patches folder, seemed to fix the constant flickering, though flickering still does happen every so often. Still flickers as usual during loading screens.

Cannot make a new save game with reality redemption. Loads exodus in america and after the first cutscene is skipped, the loading screen freezes.

Open the in-game map and check the top left. The reality redemption logo should be there.

Hi, I also faced the same problem. But fixed it by : When Running cmd it asks for Iso file name. Just type First Letter of Iso file name (Eg: If  iso name is  Red Dead Redemption , then just press R) then press TAB (it's beside Q in Keybaord)  , it will autofill out iso name then press Enter.
