Thanks a lot Ash, I'm sorry I asked a ton of questions. I really want to make this work for my friend and I, it's been quite an adventure so far! I figured the best place to ask for help would be in this thread, since @LennyH has to be one of the most knowledgeable modders out here when it comes to RDR specific tools and textures. Meaning HUD quality also got some improvements? 2) And other one, RDR1 is quite heavy to run on emulator, had someone made performance comparisons with mods, and without? Because 4x AA sounds can be impactful. TurkeyMan Posted July 18, 2023 Share Posted July 18, 2023 I'm pretty sure this isn't being worked on anymore, but after installing the mod I've had a few issues. Only two tho. I will have to stop using this project due to these, and I hope they are eventually resolved. I don't know if this was a save file issue or not, but on some save files, John's textures were corrupted. The worst issue I found which was the breaking poin is the lag I experienced when arriving to Mexico. The game lags, but the UI works just as intended, which shows it's not real lag, and I don't know how to call it. I always wanted to lower the speed of the horses since they are comically fast compared to RDR2. Could never find them though since the file structure is a mess. There might be an xdelta patch for it floating there. Props to Rockstar for a wonderful job with this version of Rage Engine.
